Wow, a father, is so different to a leader as you explained it. So edifying.
I have often read the standards, as you read about a man who must know how to look after his own house, and sadly seen men in our church who have children who fall away, once they leave home or go to university etc. It is so heartbreaking to see.
This is indeed wisdom and such a breath of fresh air. I will share this. I will continue to pray for increase in this area for the body of Christ.

I am not a part of The Last Reformation. Nor do I see myself in the role of a visible leader. However, I feel strongly about the need for guidelines that our leaders can use to help set safety boundaries that protect people in the church from spiritual abuse. Maybe you do need to limit this first session to people connected to your ministry. But at some point I hope you get a vision of how what you have learned about leadership can be imparted to the church at large.

Thank you Torben your words were right from God's heart. Yes he wants a new breed of leaders who will speak the truth in love, and walk humbly with their God. Fathers are a critical part in where this is all going. You have been through the refiners fire and can speak from the place of authority to raise up what is so big on His heart. Bless you!

Torben blessings to you and your beautiful family 🙌🏻🕊️This is so wonderful and exciting. God is doing a new thing and it’s gonna be undeniable! Prayers for strength and boldness in the fathers whom the Lord is rising up in this season🙌🏻🙏🏻🔥🕊️ We definitely needed WAY more Men of God to step up. Just recently I began to feel the Lord putting a desire in my heart for a leadership role but uncertain of what exactly. I’ve never been in a leadership role really. Always felt like I don’t measure up and shy away from it. I’ve always felt like I’m not smart enough and afraid of taking a chance or moving forward in things in my life. I know I need to and I really want to. Prayers will be welcomed please and thank you. I’ve tried to deliverance myself from this but nothing happened. I love Jesus in you . He has done an Amazing work in you. I pray my breakthrough comes because I want to be used in this capacity. In Jesus Name 🙌🏻🕊️❤️‍🔥🔥🔥

I have been thinking recently, as I have been led in my studies and in practice, God provided ways for his nation of people to grow closer. He told them to appear before Him three times per year, when they come home and gather for the moedim (feasts) and Christians just disregard them today, even though they are not even all yet fulfilled. It’s not just about learning the lessons of the individual feasts, which all point to Jesus anyway, but it’s also about the side benefits-corporate unity and living closer as a large family unit of people familiar with one another, not just strangers who see each other every Sunday. As I am beginning to step into leadership, Lord willing, I will continue incorporating God’s feasts into our new fellowship after years of doing so, in our own family, through which we have been very blessed, elder Torben.

    • @blueskies386
      @blueskies386 6 месяцев назад

We do not need to regard the feasts, whether they're all fulfilled or not.
Acts 15 where the apostles gave an edict of requirements for Gentile New Testament Believers, does not mention feasts.
Rather, we can go to Romans 14:5 and see that regarding one day above another, is purely a matter of choice. God bless you.

    • @SharkWhisperer1988
      @SharkWhisperer1988 6 месяцев назад

Actually, it was made clear in Acts15 that those things listed were the minimum standards to attain fellowship and that believers should come to fellowship to LEARN MORE about God’s Torah.
Let me ask you, What Would Jesus Do? I'll answer that, He would keep the feasts.

1Co 5:7 ¶ Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is our Passover. When a person comes to faith in JESUS CHRIST they have and are daily as they walk with HIM fulfilling the Passover feast. First fruits is fulfilled when a believer is baptized in water and into the death burial and resurrection of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Pentecost is fulfilled in a believer when they receive the Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT a second separate work of GODS marvelous and wonderful grace. The day of atonement is fulfilled when a believer takes the LORDS supper as we examine ourselves and it is to be a solemn feast. That is what the day of atonement was all about. Tabernacles is the feast of ingathering and came after the harvest. Every true believer is already part of that. However according to Zechariah 14 it is the one feast that will be celebrated during the earthly reign of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Those that do not come up will be punished.
The Hebrew roots movement is a horrible lie that denies the full work and atonement of JESUS CHRIST. These are the same people in our day that in the days of Paul the Apostle who was called and trained by the LORD JESUS CHRIST a very difficult time and he wshed that they would not just cutoff the foreskin but the whole thing. Galatians 5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
      1Co 1:23; 15:30; Ga 4:29; 6:12,17
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you. The word cut off means to mutilate. You had better flee this foolishness or you will be cutoff from eternity.

I have always advised analysts: "Have a father confessor, or a mother confessor!" Women are particularly gifted for playing such a part. They often have excellent intuition and critical insight, and can see what men have up their sleeves, at times see also into men's anima (unconscious femininity in men)intrigues. They see aspects that the man does not see. That is why no woman has ever been convinced that her husband is a superman! ~Carl Jung, Memories Dreams and Reflections; Page 134.

The highly sensitive tend to be philosophical or spiritual in their orientation, rather than materialistic or hedonistic. They dislike small talk. They often describe themselves as creative or intuitive. They dream vividly, and can often recall their dreams the next day. They love music, nature, art, physical beauty. They feel exceptionally strong emotions--sometimes acute bouts of joy, but also sorrow, melancholy, and fear. Highly sensitive people also process information about their environments--both physical and emotional--unusually deeply. They tend to notice subtleties that others miss--another person's shift in mood, say, or a lightbulb burning a touch too brightly. ~Susan Cain

It is the meaning of leadership as the coordinator of all believers who have been given the gift of God (part of the fruit of the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:27) to build up the body of Christ.
(I think it differs depending on the church. I thought that there may be situations where the gifts of believers are not being utilized due to autocratic leadership.)

Yes is a sin because the covenant of marriage is not bound to the Covenant of Jesus.
Otherwise all the marriages of unbelievers wouldn't be legit. In the Bible you see all kind of proper marriages.
Marriage lasts until death. Divorce was given to Israel due to the hardness of their heart. But when someone become a Christian he or she receives a new heart of flesh to replace the one of stone.
So dear friend don't commit sin, reconcile with your spouse or serve Jesus as you are 🤍

@@ShamgareilCerchio It also says that if the unbeliever is free to leave to keep the peace. ( " ‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬
[15] But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace)
If and unbeliever wants to sin and break the covenant, it would be very strangr that a believer would bound because of the sin of an unbeliever. Because with no other sin it is like that. Yes God sees coventants as holy, and every believer should do hisnor her utmost best to keep that covenant. Eventually it is everbodies own responsibility.

As always, we get GOOD TEACHING. but only as far as I could concentrate on the subject. Your teaching is repeatedly interrupted by commercials. please!!!! not in the middle. I understand there is money to be made. I respect advertising before and after teaching. I don't want to waste my time on these interruptions. Please do not interrupt your teaching with advertising. In the beginning ok, in the end ok. But NOT IN THE MIDDLE MANY TIMES. I hate it!

Why has God spoking nothing to you about all the rampant remarriage in the churches today?
Makes me strongly doubt that ppl are actually hearing from God , when John heard from God in revelation i heard that five if the ministries were living in sin
Seems like the new reformation is same as the old one , cus the reformers allowed remarriage aswell , for ridiculous things like if a husband was impotent (Martin Luther literally said this)
Theres nothing in Pauls revelation about remarriage

I don't know Torben position over this issue, but I know how this sin affectes churches in a deep way, at the point that the majority of them don't even recognize it as a sin.
In my family God opened our eyes on it. It lasted years to learn and to obey. It required a price, tears, choices and to lose friends. But it lead us to a greater joy, and to see a biblical church to rise.
I hope Torben and TLR people will have the courage and the revelation to stand on this issue. Without it I don't think there can't be a real reformation

      No he or she can't
Romans 7.2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband

That depends, if they married as 2 born again believers, they should do everything to keep the covenant. If they married as unbelievers then this text tells how to deal with that: ‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬
[15] But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. A person cannot be bound by the sin of another person.

The key word in the passage you cited is "bondage". If you check greek or Strong's numbers you will see the meaning is "to be servant" of someone. The idea here is that if the unbeliever spouse wants to leave, the believer doesn't have "to serve" he or she like before. But this doesn't mean the covenant is broken.
      In fact Romans 7.2 says:
"For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth"
The only condition to end a marriage is death.
I know is a hard truth to digest, I myself struggled in my own family to get it, but this happens because we tend to see this as an unjustice, because it's plenty of cases where a faithful spouse was abandoned, leaving suffering, questions and problems to solve.
I don't understimate suffering, but as disciple of Jesus we know we live in a world full of unjustices, and that the meaning of life is to bring honor and glory to the Lord, not to look for our best life now.
The Lord knows how to hold and bless those who dies to themselves 🥰
I hope this will help 🤍🙏

So you're just another Luther trying to make his own church and steer away from real Latin teaching made appointed in Rome after the apostles left the holy land. A German Luther tried and now you want to be a new Luther in 2024?

No. Luther killed many and destroyed many. Not another Luther in that way. But yes. We need to come away from his teaching and back to the Bible.

@TheLastReformation the NT says to keep the commandments including the sabbath aka the Lord's day on Sunday. Do you partake and break bread in honor of your Lord on Sunday? Are you more similar to Luther's standard/practices or more to the Catholic standard/practices?

@@TheLastReformation you can still do those things there's nothing wrong with that. But you neglect traditions for breaking bread and wine on Sundays as he commanded us to do for his day aka sabbath. Also I can show you the trinity if you like so you can be more conscious, if you don't where the trinity is.

I'm glad you stressed the importance of accountability for the role of elders.
In my experience is wide understimated,.and the requirements of 1 Ti 3 and Tt1 are considered just "suggestions"
The result is that when an unqualified elder exercise authority over a church the devil easily know where to hit: in the requirements he lacks
I hope you will do a great job in forming biblical elders 🙏🤍
