- Sorry for my english i hope you will ave no problem understanding as it is my 1st video i am kinda nervous but i still decided to make this video coz i know that a lot of users also experienced this and hasn't found a fix yet and i discovered a temporary fix that i had to share it immediately.
I hope this would be a good help for you guys and if someone do find a perfect fix do share it. Thank you
Bro I swear the channels with the least views or subscribers always have the best way on how to fix a console problem
I think it's because. Other channels that have many subs just copy other channels fixes to also gain views. And that cycle repeats. So the real good video fixes tend to be buried by others
And anyways. I didnt make this video for the views and subs. I just saw on many sites and comments on vids looking for the right fix and couldnt find any. And wanted to help out others that have the same problem and this mightve help.
Honestly the switch has way to many issues
Exactly but that’s the only thing I don’t like about the switch. At least it’s fun to use.
@@Coquito-mf5fm fr it's kinda annoying how much problem it has
As a huge nintendo fan, I agree...
I played with this issue for over a year. You are my lifesaver. Thank you so much!
Had you have issues again after the temp fix? And you're welcome. I just uploaded this to help others like us who had the same problem but cant see the fix on other videos and forums.
kim serrano I never had issues after that. Just that my charger broke :|
Ouch. That hurts much more
kim serrano Got a new one
@@Akarii_ good for you. You can play again while on quarantine
Holy shit dude. First of all, I ruined the Tri wing screws on the back trying to open it up to clean the rail connector inside, because that was the most common solution online. Thinking I had ruined it, I looked for one more solution, and found yours. I didn't even know those pins were hidden under there. Seemed there was a crumb of some kind, once I moved it, it solved the problem. You're a legend
Just noticed now that over a thousand people already watched this. I hope you all found this useful.
OMG THANK YOU SO SUCH YOUR A LIFE SAVER
It’s not working☹️
Thanks for this. I was at my wits end with the damn disconnecting, and this worked a treat. Hopefully Nintendo improve the joycon model and stop all these issues. This will do in the meantime!
Welcome. And Yeah it does help a lot right?I do hope they will improve those on the upgraded versions.
I cannot believe a couple of scotch tape cuts on the bottom of the left joycon was the solution for a year long problem.
You are a life saver!!!
Bro you saved me thank you so much ❤️
People that are saying it's faKe
It's not fake
Just noticed the comment now..you're welcome
It worked a treat! My son was playing this morning when this issue started, luckily your video popped up and voilà, it's working beautifully. He uses a case so you can't even see the paper. Thanks a lot!!!
Sir, you're a HERO!!! I've been suffering this issue for a few months now with my right joycon, I thought it was cosmetic tear that is getting in the way of the pins so I constantly clean it with alcohol and cotton to no avail.
Thank you so much for sharing your fix sir 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I did the same thing tonight I just cleaned remove the dust on both pin and it’s working well.
same also how th do uput the paper in
i've had this problem for a year tried the paper thing you did and i fixed itself thank you so much❤❤
You're welcome. Hoping other people who has this problem sees this too
1:47 I think you need to clean your switch
Thank You So Much! It Actually worked
Even after two years, this works as a charm. I got a used Nintendo switch, and of course, part of the pins of the left joycon slider were damaged, and right now, I cannot fix it. This works so well! Thanks!
Doing does dose increase damages towards the pins. I recommend heavily cleaning the pins and the joycons. You won’t need to open the switch nor the joycons. You’ll only need some isopropyl alcohol and some cotton👍
You're a legend. Never thought of this. Fixed.
Thanks....Simple Genius. Almost gave up on my Switch👍
This method work 1000 percent that’s crazy and the joycon feel way better in tack with the console.
God bless you sir you just made me save my money. I had this problem for 4 months and I finally found the easy solution your a life saver
Took me 2 days to fix my switch thank God I found this vid
This is just great, I was not gonna play with this issue for 4 months
Well done👏👏👏 been having this stinkin problem for a while and its been pretty annoying. But thanks man! 👍
This did the temporary trick im sending it out to the company to get it permanently fixed so obviously is the sensor that reads the joycon on the left side.. thanks
Did they fix it for free?
Thank you it worked like a charm, you’re a genius!
Worked bro I was mad for a entire day thanks ctfu
THANK U SM BRO I was NOT boutta buy new controllers
I just tried it and got it with some thin cardboard of the box that plastic forks and spoons come in … it works thanks !
I just thought of a really good idea, what would happen if instead of putting the paper on the joycon you put it on the switch instead, then you can put it on the joy con grip aswell. (I'm not at home rn so I can't test but lmk if it works well!)
In my case it disconnects randomly and I did the syncing process fix also but it still happens and is really annoying so I will try cleaning the pins both on the Joy-Con and the Switch to see if it works but anyway thanks for the tip.
Did it work? Cause i also tried that before and it didnt work for me.
@@kield2037 it worked for 2 hours and then it started again. I will use a tooth brush and clean it property.
Yeah mine it was a full day but the next day same problem. I was even thinking of ordering replacement parts but that would lead to expenses and work to disassembl8ng the tablet which i dont want to do. And i can still use it anyways with this temp fix.
But from my speculation the problem is with the housing of the joycon it wears out after some time and expands a bit which is why the joycon wiggles when you use the switch without a case. Thats why when putting the paper to make it fitter it works again. And this would be more accurate with my question to you. Does you joycon wiggle a bit when holding it on handheld mode?
@@kield2037 yeah a little bit, specially with the right joycon
@@smashyourmommy5795 i know the fix for the wiggling joy con. Take your joycon off the tablet There are some screws. Just stable them
You’re a hero
You help me figure what's wrong 👍🏾. You should get it fixed not temporary fix
Thank you, thanks you, THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ARE A LIFESAVER IM SUBBING AND LIKING!
I tried cleaning and disconnecting joy cons and connecting again. Nothing worked, but this finally worked. thank you So much!
So what would be a permanent fix for this problem ?
I too wanna know
Many sending it to Nintendo would help
"I want to fix it but don't want to fix it." Okay bro
Bro r u a Filipino cuz I'm too, and I'm thankful to you bro nice help
wala akong gcash
I took the switch apart and removed the metal rail. I bent the little arms in and cleaned the connectors with electrical cleaner. Put it back together and it was like new.
Nice!but i bet that others here won't dare to take their switch apart. One wrong move and some ribbons might get cut and cause bigger problem.
Thank you so much I had a problem for a 1 year and I works know!
This actually helped me. Thanks Man!
You're welcome
Thanks for this tip it helped me out a bunch
thank you this worked alot!!
Thank you for this, save my life
i been trying to figure this out for the longest. n this actually worked. damn. can i buy a new left stick n not have to do this.
Welp wish me luck ill returned if it worked
Edit- It worked! Thank you so much it actually work :D
Congrats. You'll just have to repeat this if you removed your joycon
This worked for me.thumbs up!
I have a problem where my right joy-con randomly disconnects while playing a game (specially when i click to many buttons too quickly) this may be a problem because the plastic piece that connects the joy con with the switch is a bit damaged but i barely move it or not move it at all and it still disconnects
And my left joy con has a problem where it doesn't work when i disconnect it from the switch (i tried a lot of stuff but it still won't connect) it used to connect so it didn't come like that
Mine is literally dead it doesn't work at any point idk why
For my situation, it was the right joy con that would disconnect, which was annoying, but I came along to your video and now my daughter is playing on her switch. So thanks for the tip
Fantastic it works great Thanks
Bro 🤔 u smart for this
This deserves so many likes
Thank u very much
Not only that my left joycon disconnects in handheld mode when i put my left joycon in the switch i get no snap sound *you know the sound when you put the joycon in the switch* i think it might be the rails on the left side of the switch
I think i have to have them replaced
Thank you for helping me not get a butt whopping 😂❤🎉
Huh such and easy fix, might have try this. Mine been disconnecting and tried solutions that dont involve opening up the switch.
I tried this solution and it worked. But I'm also thinking of buying another pair of joycons but before I do, do you think this problem is coming from the joycon pins itself or from the switch pins cause if its from the switch itself then I don't think it's a good idea for me to buy another pair.
It worked thank you so much!
Thank you ❤it did work..
i just blew into the consoles pin receiver and it worked
Realy thank its working!
YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER!!!!
I'm having this issue with the oled.. I SPEND $380.. & this issue occurred on my 2nd day playing handheld😡! We shouldn't have to do this. This is BS🤬. & unacceptable. Nintendo is a multi-billion dollar company. Stop building your parts with super cheap material.. Really make sure everything is durable before you start selling
Ok mine does not work 1. What kind of paper 2 how did u put the paper in the joycon
Thanks man, you're a lifesaver.
I've had this issue for almost a month tysm
Mines never worked, tough luck for me I guess.
Same I hate this stupid switch I literally can’t even play my game because of it
It was so weird to me cuz I have 3 sets of joycons and the left one on ONLY 1 of them wasn’t connecting right but the other 2 were
I guess. From what you've said. The reason for this might be with the joy con's rail getiing loose. That's why inserting a piece of paper to tighten the connection works.
i have this, is the issue the tablet itself is loose? or the joycon is loose? thank you for the tip!
Please help my joy cons pin is laying down like flat and the others are standing how to fix pls
thanks it worked :)
can't believe it actually worked
My right controller is just randomly disconnecting while I’m playing Fortnite so I keep losing my crown
Bro your a w thank you
This worked so well tysm it’s a literal lifesaver for when I’m playing apex legends and other games 🥰🥰🥰
My blue and red joy cons won’t allow me to use them in handheld
Angas lods
Same problem here. Same white shell! Will try this fix
It didn’t work
It's ridiculous but it worked lmfao
Tysm!!!
Does buying a new joycon fix this issue? I don’t want to waste money
Thank you man, worked like a treat
Put an eletric tape in the rails is easier.
dude...
how can i thank you?
Thank you
Do you know how to fix the right joy con
I love u man
It actually work
Can you do it for the right joy con?
i love this and i lie it but it dont work but i like the vid
