    I literally just got a Tiguan last weekend, same year/trim/color as the one in the video, except mine has black leather interior. I love it so far, I strongly recommend it 👍👍👍👍👍

    we're in 2021 yet this video was VERY HELPFUL. For practicality I should go with the Tiguan; for roominess, ah the CP Atlas is VERY nice! Great job VW! They are both outstanding vehicles

    Very helpful. I bought the R Line SEL in silk blue on Labor Day weekend. I really love it. Though, I’d sure like your thoughts on the engine’s ‘rattle’ all Tiggys seem to have now. What is that? Ps - great videos! 🙏.

    Have a question for you, or anyone that thinks they can help.
    Just got a 2020 Tiguan, straight from the dealership. They weren't too tech savy to help me with changing the name in the actual car. When I go to turn off the car, it says Goodbye "name-here". Umm how do I change this? We thought it was a car-net error, but talking to car-net they said on their end my name is spelled correctly... Anyone have a clue on how to change this?

    I own a 2019 Rline Tiguan, I really like it but the engine light came on two weeks after I purchased it, brand new.They said it was a sensor. One year of owning it, the engine light still comes on. I'm thinking of trading it in for something else.

    Do you know when is vw launching the hybrid version of the tiguan and the atlas cross??

    • @BachmanVolkswagenLouisville
      @BachmanVolkswagenLouisville  4 года назад +1

      Well, I know the first electric vehicle is set to be revealed this summer, and come out in the fall.... so I would imagine they would start transitioning the lineup towards electric so maybe we see a hybrid in 2-3 years?... just speculation but you never know! Thanks for checking out the video, Grace!

    Good knowledgeable review. When we first started we liked the Tiguan except we felt the power was very disappointing. Not being a VW guy I was expecting something at least GTI-ish. After researching more I found it at the bottom of the class and had about the same 0-60 as my wife's 09 Ford Escape. Like you said though I'm sure there are buyers who just want the MPG and will like the rest like we did. We've decided on the regular Atlas SEL V6 Premium R line. We wanted a real 3rd row and more engine response. Here's something to look into on your down time. They made the '21 Atlas configurable on 3/15. On 6/3 they removed the SEL P R line from the configurator. Any idea why? My local dealer said he placed an order on the 1st for us, I hope they still fill it. I can give you the order # if you can check the status 😀

    I love the Tiguan; but I’m not going to lie if the Atlas Cross Sport came with the 360 camera and ambient lighting I would so go with that instead

    Great video and good work once again.
    I just bought a 2020 Tiguan SE. I love the car. My gripe with VW. (I’ve owned many and currently have a Passat too) is the price points between trim levels. That’s why I felt the SE was the best value for the dollar. One thing VW could change is get rid of the cd changer and put in LED front lighting. Anyway, the cost between the S, SE, SE R-Line, SEL and SEL Premium is ridiculous. There should not be $12,000 worth of trim levels in a compact SUV. Just sayin

    • @BachmanVolkswagenLouisville
      @BachmanVolkswagenLouisville  4 года назад

      Couldn’t agree more. The entire model of “trim levels” is antiquated in my opinion but..... here we are still in 2020 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @BachmanVolkswagenLouisville
      @BachmanVolkswagenLouisville  4 года назад

      I state at 1:25 very specifically that I’m talking about the SEL Cross Sport and the SEL Premium Tiguan.... and go on to point out that those features are available in higher trim Cross Sports for more $$....🤔

    I own a 2019 and I like it for what I bought it for. I have a 2014 Ford F-150 and a 2012 Infiniti G37- the Tiguan is great for the trips to grocery store or club stores like Costco. I do like the Cross Sport but damn they get expensive and I’m scared of depreciation. Leasing may be the way to go. Thanks for doing this.

    First of all I live in Germany, we don't get The Atlas we get The Touareg.
    If you need a 3.6 we get TDI if i'm Correct with up to 4.0 TDI, Turque? My 2.0 TDI with 2.0 and 4 Motion can pull 2.5 Metric tons, do The math. We don't get Leatherett, either you get high Quality Leather, Alcantara which only comes only from Italy or fabric which is of good Quality. Here you also get a 2.0 TDI with 240 hp and 500 nm of Torque which is about 370 ft lbs of Torque if you need it. We also get The Normal Tiguan with is Made in Wolfsburg, The allspace was originally Made for The U.S. Market. And mind you, we drive much faster, but with a Trailer on The back you are aloud max 100 km or 62 mph. Safty First. What I tryin to say... if you can get The TDI then you driving. I enjoyed The Video. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

      Unfortunately VW will never bring TDI back to North America. The original Atlas was designed for a TDI variant but was canceled after the diesel scandal. I truly wish they would bring TDI VW and Audi vehicles back to North America.

    that tiguan is very good looking. I don’t really like the look of the cross sport, but I’m sure it will do well in the american market. the tiguan looks a lot more like an actual german car.

      My parents have a 2019 BMW x5. Its a fast vehicle but gas is pricey here in California. $100 to fill up at chevron. I just got the 2020 vw atlas cross sport s 4 cylinder and I fill up with $45 at costco. They both have enough space for all your needs unless you have a big family. Maintenance costs are less expensive on the cross sport. But it depends on the needs of the user.
      I went with the vw altas cross sport because in my opinion its like a baby audi q8. Just without the high tech stuff. Only tech I need is the android auto/apple carplay. Just about everything else can be modified down the road such as heated seats (costco), digital instrument clusters (vw dealer), tow hitches (uhual) , wheels (niche), etc.
