Mystical Agriculture is a mod based around the concept of growing your resources with crops. Use crops to grow essences used to make materials, mob drops, tools, armor and possibly even more!
Adds more than 130 resource crops for tons of Vanilla and Modded ingredients, materials and mob drops!
Adds 6 sets of tools and armor that can be upgraded with additional capabilities using Augments!
Increase crop growth speed with Growth Accelerators and Watering Cans.
Farm crops more effectively with Scythes and Sickles, or harvest fields automatically using the Harvester!
Process resources more effectively with upgradable Furnaces, and get more out of your extra seeds with the Seed Reprocessor.
Use your extra resource essences to enchant tools, armor or books with the Enchanter!
Use your extra mob essences to spawn mobs using the Soulium Spawner!
Xnet tips is that you can set up multiple channels that do the exact same to increase speed
& use advanced connectors so you can decrease ticks per operation

You can use bonemeal on botany pots with MA seeds… also, you can put growth accelerators under the lily pads that will make them near instant growth
you can use cyclical processing to automatically recycle the seeds in the photogenic insulators
Xnet can also put in the water and energy for the phyto-insulators... can make it smaller and better tileable

Another Idea for the phytogenic insulators, place a locked 1x2 drawer on top of it with seeds and essence and then have the cables pull only essence. The seeds will automatically feed back into the machine and essence can be extracted. Also in the video when you said Apatite had no resource generation you hovered over a recipe for mystical agriculture essense

Also in terms of the apatite, I somehow managed to not see the recipe while filming or editing, I'm not entirely sure how but I felt like an idiot when I found out 😂😂
You can know completely automate the phyto fertilizer with saltpeter and apatite seeds; you just need to use the relative essences and combine them to give you the ingredients!
You should have a look at direwolfs mod laserio as far as i know it should be fast enough with the overclockers also you can hide them under the machine and use that for energy and items aswell as water it can also use any face of the machine without actually being at that face
Then you leave the seed management to xnet or sacrifice one of your augments for the monoculture cycle
I have never used Laser IO before, I'm definitely going to look into it
You forgot about hydroponic beds. They can be enhanced with upgrades and ether gas from a captured wither. Lily pads of fertility and growth accelerators also work on them to supercharge.
Also for harvester pylon, feed it stone hoes with modular routers. Sticks from tree farm and cobble gen. No need for high tier tools
I have never used the hydroponics beds lmao, are they particularly lag friendly?

Just started with mystical agriculture and wanted to do the red fertilizer speed up. However I can only place that on regular farmland. But arnt higher tiers of farmland required for higher tiers of resource seeds? So red fert cant be used on them. Am i missing something?
In current versions of mystical agriculture, you don't need higher tier farmland for higher tier seeds unless they are it botany pots
So you can place a tier 5 seed on a piece of farmland.
However in a botany pot for example you would need insanium farmland for a tier 5 seed
This is the case in ATM9 at least

It's actually fairly simple
Step 1, make a 9x9 pond of water, and place the lilypads of fertility on top
Step 2, place a layer of dirt on top, and hoe it into farmland
Step 3, place a harvester pylon in the middle, on the same level as the dirt, not above., and set it to 9x9, and place a hoe inside
Step 4, place an inventory on top of the harvester pylon
Step 5, place your seeds

On the second example, my farmland goes back to regular dirt. i have the water placed how you have it. I do not know what is causing it

Why not use pipez universal cable ? Instead of xnet ?
I personally never use Pipez cos I heard they have terrible performance, plus I love xnet it's so useful
it'll likely be very bulky, but i wonder what would happen if you put growth acceleraters from mystical ag underneath. I know the higher tier acceleraters have a good range, and you can stack them pretty well, so i wonder how well that would turn out.
note: maybe even using growth acceleraters instead of the lillies for early game
From what I know growth accelerators aren't particularly effective?

The hopper botany pot doesn't need to be put onto a hopper. Just place it right on the actual chest. It'll auto dump into it.
That is actually an excellent point and I have zero idea how I haven't figured that out in several hundred hours I have played this pack
question: does the watering can not work with modular routers? i also enabled fake player watering in config
I think they do if you enable it in the configuration for MA, I'm pretty sure ATM team disabled it for some reason
Why can't I plant inferium seeds in regular soil and only have the option to plant them in botany pots?
That's also an option, botany pots just allow for automation, and they are quicker
I use to use xnet but i find super factory manager is a much faster and more customisable version of xnet, its harder to learn as it uses code instead of a UI but the codes relatively simple and you can automate almost any type of machine with it due to it using code
I feel like SFM would be so useful if I sat down and really learnt it, I'm simply just too lazy lmao
@@onionman7090 it's actually so easy, took me like an hour to get most important functions. The programming is configured in a way thats super user friendly. Only downside is it can only perform 1 item based operation per 20 ticks but in that operation in can move an basically infinite items. For power and liquids I think it can work every tick so it's extremely powerful for those, I'm want to see if it's possible to mess with the config and make items every tick which if that's possible it'll officially be the best item transportation mod.

@@onionman7090 Nice! Also probably been said before but AFAIK the Thermal machines aren't limited by transfer rate but by an artifical limit placed on all machines of how much power they can accept at a time. No upgrade AFAIK makes it able to have 100% up time at x256 TIAB'ed
Another thing you can do is to stack everything up. The normal 9x9 lilypad setup works really well if you boost it with other things like growth accelerators from mystical agriculture (They're quite expensive), and also put lilypads around the setup for extra speed.
But we are not done here, you can still put modular router with a supremium watering can facing the farm, another modular router with a supremium scythe to collect the crops as fast as possible, and also a pull up module so you don't have to put a bunch of absorption hoppers. We're still not done... if you can somehow make something that acts as a player and give it awakened supremium armor it will boost the crops even more and you can also use botania, naturesaura and ars nouveau for extra speed.
(If you think the slots are lacking you can just build extra floors although they will have less productivity because they'd be missing on some of the mystical agriculture accelerators). Now if you still need more, you can use the fertilizer essence to make that mystical fertilizer setup without any downsides.
"modular router with a supremium watering can" Is by default disabled in ATM9 Because it was too OP in ATM8.
In the atm mining dimension you can get millions of apatite from the builder mining

It's a setting from I belive sodium but I'm not sure, it's a setting in ATM9
What about the immersive ingenieering garden cloche that one is also fast as i remember it from skyfactory
They are also an option, however I've heard they are quite laggy

@onionman7090 I've been using them for a small garden growing nether star essence. They work great when given ether gas, accelerators work underneath them, lilypads of fertility boost their growth too. Only problem is that they grow so fast sometimes it doesn't harvest them at full growth immediately, so I recommend a supremium scythe in a modular router to auto harvest whatever doesn't harvest itself fast enough.

I'm playing on an older version dont know if it has anything to do with the issue I am having but I tried it and for some reason in the pack i am playing rightclicking with mystical fertilizer doesnt work, only untill i have it in my offhand, and routers seem to no allow offhand. Could it be a config thing?
I'm not sure on that one unfortunately, I imagine it might be a config thing but I unfortunately have never heard of this before

If you have nothing against changing a config then you can enable fake player watering so you can replace the mystical fertilizer with wateringcans or use them to make the lilypad setup even faster
Phytogenic Insolator setup can be good to avoid lag in servers, thanks for the info.
That is absolutely true, and they can be super fast aswell, especially with Time in a Bottle

well there is the issue of getting the resources to make the phytogenic insolators the fastest possible without time in a bottle. It is doable but middle to late game i think. The best early game option is to use the hopper botany pots with functional storage 2x1. Once you get going then upgrading to garden cloche from Immersive Engineering. This will take you to that middle to beginning of late game, where you can use the Thermal Extras to make the insolators crazy fast without a need for time in a bottle.

I've just started on this mod, so maybe dumb, but for the mystical fertilizer, there's a bonemeal option, for the apatite, bone *and* niter, there's an essence option, so you can mass produce it inside MA? I missing something?
I think they must've changed it since I made this video, because this is ATM9, either that or I am a complete dumbass

Hey dude love the vid one question im currently playing all the mods 9 and i was looking at the mystical fertiliser and it allows in crafting using the same recipe but with bone meal instead of the fertilised essence i was just wondering why you didnt mention that way of crafting it making it more viable
I don't remember seeing that, it may have been a recipe change since making this video or I was completely blind

Not sure why it wasn’t mentioned but the theoretical fastest had the drawback of relying on mystical fertilizer, but you can also sub in bone meal right? which is easy to farm?
It's been a while, but I don't think bone meal works, due to a pack config with ATM9, cos I vaguely remember trying and it not working

one of the fastest MA setups i know is the really expensive lily pad one with a 17x17 square of them then 2 levels of 9x9 fertilized farmland, harvested by a scythe in a router and collected by a backpack. super not lag friendly tho

Hi Onion Man, and thanks for making this, it was insightful. For the last setup that uses the ME requester, AE2 has a native method for outputting items that doesn't require using the requester to check inventory and keep a stock. You can just add a crafting card to the export bus itself and it will automatically create requests to output to the chest. Adding speed cards will increase the size of the "batch" that the export bus will request. Reduces the amount of channels needed!
I have heard of crafting cards, aparantly there is some major issue with them like a bug or poor performance? I'm not sure entirely but I remember seeing something on that
