This series has helped a lot in my playthrough with friends. We turned that big structure with the frogs you found into our base and we have so much room. Really enjoying the videos and looking forward to more.
@Noob-ye3hs For mystical crops, insanium is best (if enabled in the config or by the mod creator) insanium is best for all crops as it increases the growth speed by a lot.
It was SOOOO cool that your suggestion got implemented immediately by the mod author. I saw the exchange on twitter I was blown away!! ☺ I just added a copper upgrade to mine yesterday for the first time.
Fun fact, LaserIO is the fastest way to transfer items in current MC allowing transfer speed of up to 9 x 64 items per tick, however u would need 8 node overclocker and 36 card overclocker cards to achieve that speed, that being said how the laserIO works is if u have multiple diffrent items in low quantity it will still pull out items only from one slot and count it as a stack of them, so if u run for example a very fast mob farm, you would probably had to invest quite a lot to make laserIO pull the item out, in my testing on ftb skies I needed 4 upgraded fully item cards to pull out the loot from my mob farm (after filtering out armor and other unstackables) however just one pipe from pipez with netherite upgrade did the same job as it looks solely on the quanity.
I don’t know why people don’t go for the dim storage chest for this, it’s only a bunch of iron and it’s twice the size of the colour coding ender chests.. the dim storage chests and tanks are fantastic. Ps yep you can max out a chest or tank from the enderchests mod with either four ender pearls or two eyes of ender, just crouch click it on there. Make sure you have the colour combination you want to use set first, otherwise when you change the frequency with any dyes you’ll need to be crouch clicking with pearls/eyes again afterwards. Also you can crouch click a diamond on one of these chests/tanks and you make that one private to you, other players on that world won’t have access.
The dim chests and tanks are so ugly though. They're actually great, but when I played a modpack in which you can craft dim tanks into ender tanks and back, I ended up always crafting ender tanks. Also because of their auto-output. These were different ender tanks from the ones in ATM9

Also something to note on the ender chests/ender tanks, if you use eye of enders you can upgrade how many slots/ how much liquid can be stored in them.
I'm playing this modpack on a server with my friends, seeing your approach to things and comparing them to the way we're doing it is a fun way of finding alternatives/optimizing our own farms. For example, we've been using a harvester pylon from the pylons mod for our essence farms, but the scythe allows for a much bigger plot to be harvested at once. Definitely worth considering! I know this is a little late now... But Sophisticated Storage also does storage drawers/controllers too! In my humble opinion, Sophisticated 's version has more functionality and storage space and options. Loving this series by the way!

Vanilla enchants can be applied to the Mystical Ag crystals, I added unbreaking/mending/unusing to mine and they last SIGNIFICANTLY longer (and can be repaired)
I had an issue where my modular router wasn't working for the whole range of the scythe. And i didn't have the settings he mentioned to change fake person or something. Instead i had to place a security upgrade inside the modular router and it works the same
idk if this is something people would wanna do but i found it convenient, if you set the redstone mode for a modular router to high you can turn it on and off with a lever if you dont want the farm running 24/7
for the fertilizer you can also use the yellow fertilizer on it as well so you cant trample the crops! though id recommend swapping to the green fertilizer as it increases the output so you should get more essence per harvest
I like this suggestion but with the scythe in the router you can harvest crops near instant once you add speed upgrades. Making red fertilizer essence per min much higher
So the only things I can suggest that weren't brought up in the video are this. 1. Now that you have your first completed farm every insainium you make can be used directly on the farmland to transform it into insainium farmland. It both increases the speed of MA crops but it also will increase the amount of inferium essence you get by 350%. 2. IIRC the most efficient way to use the lilypads is having them directly touching the farmland they are supposed to boost. So try and have them set up before you get your other farms so you dont have to tear up most of your farmland. 3. MA growth accelerators "should" work incombination with the lilypads, but they have been changed to where all the tiers have the same effectiveness just go further away from the farmland its boosting. So IIRC it should be Farmland ->Lilypad/water -> Infer GA -> ect.. down to 64 blocks with insainium farmland should be as close to instant growth as you can get in MA. Yes Bees are faster with the Omega upgrade per space allotted. But where you are in the pack now bees are not going to bee as viable.
He knows, but red fertilizer doesn't work on any special farmlands, still it is probably better once you have growth accelerators setup, and for the lily pads the most effective way is to put 2 layers of it underneath

You could always name it… the MAFFAS Mystical Agriculture Farming Facility And Storage xD Also I know you color, so did you know you can change the color of the laserIO networks? While in the node GUI, click on the cog for settings and you can RGB set the color of the node and channel.
Good thing to remember, if your crafter can not keep up, you can double the speed by making a second 1st level craft in the spare slots you have in the crafter. The crafter seems to do all crafts at once, so multiple of the same craft goes twice as fast
if you layer those lilypads around the outside of the farmland and get red fertilizer with a better watering can this can go like 10x faster easily. try it out if you get the mats you wont be disappointed ;)
you mentioned that the modular router wont use a watering can due to being disabled but on the playthrough i did i found it actually worked in the mining dimension, just be careful if trying it since my world did have crash issues a few hours after i got everything set up which i cant confirm it was from the watering can but may be due to how much was being produced and moved per tick its definitely a possibility
I was referencing that because when I played a few months ago on this they were disabled but I don't think they will make things any faster after tomorrows video XD
Chosen, if you are building with bricks assuming Twilight forest is in the pack I think it would be cool if you built with the bricks found in the structure where you fight the four knights.

You can probably get more mileage out of the lilypads via using box-shaped farms instead and putting waterlogged stairs on the perimeter with lilypads ontop.
Hey, Chosen! I know this is an older video but I was looking for some tips. Setting up the same insanium farm you used with LaserIo, but I can't figure out how to get the materials to flow properly? Right now Inferium is being grown and transferred over to the crafter, but it makes 4 Prudentium and clogs up. The crystal and the essence both get stuck in the output slot. All of my nodes are linked and I have an insert card connected in the top node to the crafter, an extract card in the middle node from the crafter, and insert and extract cards hooked up in the bottom node from the ender chest and the controller respectively. If its been too long and you don't remember or the mod has changed I understand, just thought there's no harm in asking
Someone did the test and a fully upgraded beehive setup is around 10x faster. Edit: plus a lot of the bees gives the Raw Ore which can be processed with Mekanism to get 5 times the resourfes too
Hopper botany pots with item pipes are the best way to start mystical agriculture. With a bit of clay, iron, wood, and redstone, you can start your farm, letting it run without any intervention while you buold up its size snd work on other mods is the easiest way to work it. Start off with a few hopper pots, while you work on your silent tools/armor, then when you are comfortable in tge caves and can find a lot of prosperity stone and collect it, then you can start building up the levels, and getting the seeds for the resources that you use often.
Watching this, and I genuinely don't know if this name for the Mystical Agriculture area should be M.A.G.I Standing for Mystical Agriculture Growing Industry or something close
hey! you can use the harvester pylon with an echest on top, and then place a slab on top of the echest, with the modular router placed on top of the slab, set to interact with the slab below it. then put a filled supremium water bucket in the modular router buffer. also, im sure you already know, but you can also make insanium farmland. along with an unhealthy amount of lilypads. youll have 200k inferium in no time😂
He knows about the harvester pylon, but it is only a 9x9 and it is way slower than the modular router, he also said that in ATM9 it is not possible anymore to put the watering can inside of the router, also said he would craft more lily pads but were expensive

i suppose adding the botania ring of natures bounty? on a pedestal would not work with mystic agg? as for a name for the area, you could call it MA R&D, Mystical Agricultue R&D.
whenever you have random items, can you say what mod they're from? makes it easier to search for things that look neat in your videos that i wanna check out (as a person who hasn't played modded before this its hard for me to know what some random blocks/items are)
When he looks at a block, a top middle box will pop up saying what the item is in white and what mod its from in blue. This applies to when he hovers over an item in his inventory. Hope this helps!
If you want it to work faster but take up more room going down use the growth accelerators you can use 12 of each tier stacked downward starting with inferium
If anyone is having an issue with the routers and using minecolonies not only do you have to allow fake players on your claim you have to add the router to your colony in the town hall
I would say the Modular router would be faster with the speed upgrades in it as it harvest the 15x15 all in one go where the harvester does one at a time in a row if I remember correctly

in the video you never showed how to get certain items from the crafter to the individually sorted drawers. for some reason the insanium, when done crafting, doesn’t leave the crafter and doesn’t get auto sorted into the drawers. i tried setting up an extract filter for insanium but it didn’t work. are you able to explain? i cant find a video anywhere on this specific issue
He explains very nice How to get the crafted item out of the crafter with the laser nodes just be sure to set the Last crafting recipe of your craft to place the item in little box down left inside the crafter and it should work
I'm having trouble with the modular router accepting the scythe. It's in the buffer slot, and I checked that fake players is allowed, but it's only picking at the block below the router and no other plants.
I tried to get this to work but it wouldn't work for me. Even went and opened my game to Lan and clicked the Purple Gear and allowed fake players, didn't work. Tried using Create mechanical harvesters, but they would break the mystical agri seeds. Ended up using a Harvester Pylon from Pylons, with a supremium hoe harvests a 9x9 area but is pretty cheap, and it auto collects to an inventory above, so no Advanced Item collector required. So this is a work around for those that can't get the Modular Router to work.
"You can actually vein mine with the hoe. This is SO convenient" **Pans to every single piece of non-farm dirt also being tilled**

Don't forget, laserIO cards can even change what side they insert from. So a card from bottom can be set to insert as if it was on top

you can even increase the inventory size of an ender chest by right-clicking it with an ender pearl i think

Be careful though the scythe in the router isn't very server friendly wouldn't recommend using outside of single player

Bees are great but have a higher barrier to entry, also unfortunately as much as I love bees there are essence farms that out pace them

Supremium seeds arent a thing anymore, that's a 1.12 thing.
Supremium farmland is slower than red fertilizer (you can't use both)

If you or anyone else sees this, I figured it out. It was as simple as me not having selected Exit C on the crafter. Feel like a dummy lol
I think fully upgraded bees are faster because of the area needed too. also now that thermal is in the pack there might be other ways too.

I will still need to do bees at some point I think... It will only be for a few things however.

Hi, amazing tutorial, I did same setup with modular routers, with inferium scythe and with that module but its not doing anything sadly, and there is no claimed FTB chunk
i suppose adding the botania ring of natures bounty? on a pedestal would not work with mystic agg? as for a name for the area, you could call it MA R&D, Mystical Agricultue R&D.

whenever you have random items, can you say what mod they're from? makes it easier to search for things that look neat in your videos that i wanna check out (as a person who hasn't played modded before this its hard for me to know what some random blocks/items are)
When he looks at a block, a top middle box will pop up saying what the item is in white and what mod its from in blue. This applies to when he hovers over an item in his inventory. Hope this helps!

If you want it to work faster but take up more room going down use the growth accelerators you can use 12 of each tier stacked downward starting with inferium
If anyone is having an issue with the routers and using minecolonies not only do you have to allow fake players on your claim you have to add the router to your colony in the town hall

I prefer dimension chest compare to ender chest, its bigger in size ans easier to configure

I would say the Modular router would be faster with the speed upgrades in it as it harvest the 15x15 all in one go where the harvester does one at a time in a row if I remember correctly

@@shuff1997 yep press "e" hit the ftb chunks map icon on the right and click the gear icon in the bottom left of the screen and click "allow fake players" twice to allow

I'm using watering can with deployer from create, its not as fast as it would be with modular router but it definitely helps.
Anyway to speed up the autocrafting process? Seems like its gathering my infernium and crafting it up slow compared to if I just force fed the thing

it might be a bit late but when i put in the scythe with the activator to right click it only harvest the middle inferium
Was having the same issue, I just turned off the ftb chunks and it started working again

is the laser wrench bugged? when i shift click it makes the first one green but a normal right click doesnt link another
in the video you never showed how to get certain items from the crafter to the individually sorted drawers. for some reason the insanium, when done crafting, doesn’t leave the crafter and doesn’t get auto sorted into the drawers. i tried setting up an extract filter for insanium but it didn’t work. are you able to explain? i cant find a video anywhere on this specific issue
He explains very nice How to get the crafted item out of the crafter with the laser nodes just be sure to set the Last crafting recipe of your craft to place the item in little box down left inside the crafter and it should work

I'm having trouble with the modular router accepting the scythe. It's in the buffer slot, and I checked that fake players is allowed, but it's only picking at the block below the router and no other plants.
me too ，my tools cannot be detected, only harvest them individually.
try adding the Security Upgrade inside the Modular Router. worked for me.

I tried to get this to work but it wouldn't work for me. Even went and opened my game to Lan and clicked the Purple Gear and allowed fake players, didn't work. Tried using Create mechanical harvesters, but they would break the mystical agri seeds. Ended up using a Harvester Pylon from Pylons, with a supremium hoe harvests a 9x9 area but is pretty cheap, and it auto collects to an inventory above, so no Advanced Item collector required. So this is a work around for those that can't get the Modular Router to work.
