Very good list. I actually learned some thigns I didn't know yet here! I'd add Hyperboxes to the list. You can stick your storage drawers in there, put the controller on one of the gateway blocks in the wall, outside connect the corresponding side of the Hyperbox to a ME storage bus or RS external storage and viola, you now have your storage in one block where it is save from creepers. Hyperboxes are also nice for things that cause a lot of FPS lag, like lilypad of fertility mystical argriculture farms. To note: They should chunkload the insides if the box is in loaded chunks and do so in ATM9 to the Sky, but for some reason don't do so in standard ATM9, so you'll need to manually chunk load the chunk in the Hyperbox.
Issue with hyperboxes is that they create a new world folder per hyperbox so many server owners disable them! They are awesome for singleplayer, especially for nuclear waste clearance 😁
Just a note WRT the solar neutron activator: If you're playing the regular ATM9, you can also use the Aether as a good place for a nuclear reactor. It's always sunny (at least, the version in ATM9), but flight isn't disabled in that dimension like it is for the Blue Skies one. In addition, it's a skyblock dimension, so it's easy to find a clear space to chunk-load. The only downside is that the Zephyr mob in that dimension can push you around, but that's an annoyance more than anything as you'd likely have some source of flight by that point and in the worst-case falling in the void in the Aether just takes you to the overworld.

I use my offhand quite a lot, and I almost never use shields (the original reason for the offhand mechanic). Swap to offhand is great for moving items on your hotbar to your offhand. Want to mine and place torches? Scroll to torches and hit f, then scroll or hit the number for your pickaxe. Then you can swap back to your shield using swap to offhand from your hotbar. I use it in building too.
I feel like some of the insanely good items should be mentioned as well. They might not be in No Frills, but Time in a Bottle and Personal Shrinking Device are among my two favourite things. Also no mention of MA at all? Setting up a simple farm early on can go a loooong way.
I really should have mentioned all these things... I 100% should have though, you got me there 😉
What do you use the personal shrinking device for? I have one in a chest somewhere but I never figured out what to use it for. I didn't see any tiny blocks or anything to build with, which was going to be what I used it for (farms that fit in tiny spaces). Any tips?
Great video pilps… but you did miss a trick with early-mid game power by not covering a create infinite lava farm, a couple magmators will take you all the way to fission and even after that the lava can power pneumaticcraft compressors or you can bring the magmator and the dimm tank along to power your quarries or whatever. Also.. there’s a quicker way to buckets of xp, if you make the xp crystal from black concrete, lime glass and bottle enchanting… it’s basically an xp tank, put a few levels in and click it with a bucket ;)
I think I mentioned the magmators but honestly, I don't think they are as easy to set up as 16 wind mills and they will get you to the point where you can make reactors pretty easily. After that it should be easy enough to get the mycelial reactor set up, hardest thing is maybe the dragons breath but a few ender dragon kills can get you there 😉 Is there an easy way to get a bottle o' enchanting for the xp crystal? 🤔 xp crystal should have been in this guide to be fair, it's really good 😁

Ah man I forgot to mention the gate mode enderman spawning thing... That was a decent way to get enderpearls early game (so I hear) although I just swabbed the first enderman I saw and made a spawner 😂
Powah player charger and gates can often be had a little earlier than flux but in the end they’re about equal in cost although the flux networks is less resource intensive (on your computer)
You can use evil craft biome extractor and throw a bottle of any biome wherever you want and you won’t need to put a laser in weird places. You can put them wherever you want
To fly in the other you can make the elytra and elytra controller from redstone arsenal. It will disable the elytra, however, you can just spam the controller and travel

The mana and mana regen increases on the armors do not affect iron's. max mana and regen etc does not work for iron's it's for Ars, if you want extra mana for irons you have to craft their mage robes from the mod. it even shows this in the .. um sword button on the character area? it has two mana stats one for Ars and one for iron's, iron's is the lower one most likely if you are not wearing their armor,. the only thing i have found to increase iron's other than their armor is a 50 mana ring. the gem's spell power and holy power from apotheosis etc do work though. as does the spell cooldown reduction... it's like most of it works but you get no mana or mana regen from the armors.. which is weird honestly. i wonder why they split the mana and regen stats..
I kinda wish they were both named something other than mana so it's easier to keep track of 🤔 Until you mentioned it I didn't notice and now it's bothering me haha 😂

Hi, this is to anyone that has an answer to my question. So, I have a world download of a really nice castle that I want to copy to my main single-player world with a schematic (or something along those lines). The problem is that the castle is hundreds of blocks in length, height, and width and so far the ONLY option I found was using Create mod's schematic. It has a limit to the schematic size and it doesn't even come close to what I want to copy over and transfer to another world. Am I stuck using create mod as the only way to mass-build things from one world to another?
I recently showed off the copy paste gadget from building gadgets in my atm10 series, I copied an old base of mine what is really big and pasted it into my atm10 series 😉 I think that would be perfect for what you need! The episode is called "new old base" or something to that effect 😁

After like 6 years i came back to Minecraft after I played a lot of ftb and buildcraft, I tried ATM9. I am completely lost in this. Even this guide is just to much information and also unknown things to me. How can I get into this, like I just started with this
Look in the quest book for guidance. Watch tutorials on mods you are interested in exploring. Plenty of people have also done playthroughs of the pack. Pip and AlfredGG are pretty good at explaining what they are doing and how things work. It is a little overwhelming at first, but this is a kitchen sink pack, you can play it how you want to play it. My first ATM was ATM7 and after like 6 months of occasional playing. I still didn't have the star, but I had learned how to use a lot of the fundamental mods of the pack. Many of those same mods are used in a lot of different packs now outside of ATM.
About the super fast spawners from the wayward compass dungeons.. Did they get nerfed or something? I've looked through 5 or 6 separate catacombs structures (some of them were 6,000 blocks away) and havent found a single bridge room! It's been driving me so crazy that I even went into spectator mode to view the whole structure and still nothing! Any other good natural spawners? Or do I have the wrong Irons spells catacombs? Or is it crazy bad luck 😅
Wait ,so is the RS + Functional Storage bug fixed finally ? From what i recall i had to learn AE2 finally in ATM8 for example (which is a good way to try something new) because External Storage RS + Drawers was bugged and it was not recommended to do both of em together since it blocked the RS from putting out items out of the system and such , and well, i don't mind using AE2 in No Frills but RS is cheaper and faster to set up ,as always
Search for the jade button (press all the number pad buttons) I set my observable button to be the jade turn off button so got hella confused at the end of my No Frills run haha 😁
You seem to lean towards the tech mods. The magic mods can also do at least some of the things that you mention here. The one that stood at to me is that you can get ores from the mining dimension through Occultism. Bit of a process to get to it, so maybe the tech mod way is easier, I'm not sure. Ars also has good/similar options for travel. :D
I used the Occultism lamps when you could use an eternal stella on them! This is no longer an option unfortunately 😔 Ars is also a decent option, it's easier to express on camera how to use tech mods in my opinion 😉
The thing I like about this Modpack is you don't need to use all the mods. I play with my sister and she just messes around with mine colonies while I'm making op gear and summoning little helpers 😂
I'm almost at the Greg Star. The only thing I need to do is upgrade the pack because the recipe for the Star Forge is borked in my version. 😉 Edit: I spoke too soon - I have to get into EnderIO because the recipe uses End Steel Exchangers rather than normal ones. Urgh. 😢
I kinda wish enderio was incorporated into the ATM star 🤔 it was toted as one of the main mods in the pack but isn't really utilised much (I love it just for the travel anchors 😂)

I have a love hate relationship with MA, i think it's over used and far too op especially with the phytogenics insolators from thermal and all the addons upgrades so I didn't think to mention it to be honest...
After that it should be easy enough to get the mycelial reactor set up, hardest thing is maybe the dragons breath but a few ender dragon kills can get you there 😉
Is there an easy way to get a bottle o' enchanting for the xp crystal? 🤔 xp crystal should have been in this guide to be fair, it's really good 😁
@@Pilpoh yeah probably easiest early game bottle enchanting is the chest at top of a pillager tower, easily cheesed with even a stone jet pack.
i usually use the swap hands key to swap in and out torches when in shaders
That's one example but do you use that a lot of the time? If not it's a waste of a really easy to get to hotkey 😁
F Key is used to quickly put items in offhand for the building wand, items in offhand get placed against different items on ground
Do you use the building wand more than ultimine? I use the wand with stuff in my offhand too, I just don't use the keybind to swap to offhand. 😉
@@Pilpoh I use both tbf, but I have ultimine on mouse 5, so it doesn't require me to move my keyboard hand off of the movement keys. You should check out the building wand with offhand placement you can build things really quickly once you get used to it
I love you. Literally. THANK YOU
You are welcome! 😁
Great video and tips. For wireless power ive always gone with powahs tools. Its less resource intensive than hunting multiple endermen down (ender pearls early to mid game has akways been a massive problem in every single pack ive played over the year's)
Flux is better for your pc than Powah??? This actually explains a lot! Cheers for the comment 😁
@@Pilpoh yes, not so much the gates but the personal player charger can be quite laggy.
liked due to the 'always sunny' reference
The gang gets a like!
Thanks mate 😁
You deserve a sub already did before lol and with all notifications i do off hand to clean 1 slot of inventory lol
I guess because I've been playing since before the offhand was added, I just learned to not use it lol 😂
You can use evil craft biome extractor and throw a bottle of any biome wherever you want and you won’t need to put a laser in weird places. You can put them wherever you want
Really useful tip if you have limited chunk loads! 😁
@@Pilpoh wish I could say I thought of it. Saw it on the all the mods Reddit 👍
To fly in the other you can make the elytra and elytra controller from redstone arsenal. It will disable the elytra, however, you can just spam the controller and travel
You can spam your jet pack too 😁
ahaha i wanna try speedrunning this pack soon like alfred!
I've not seen the speed runs but heard of them! All I'll say is that I had a ton more fun just sitting back and chilling in this pack. I didn't even use a time in a bottle until I had my first ATM star 😂
I was in 4 of those wayward compass dungeons and none spawned that bridge room with the spawners. Either I'm just increadibly unlucky or they took that room out of the generation because you can make too OP spawners with it.
I've heard some people say they did find one but I don't know what version they are on or if they are no frills or not 🤔 it's a little difficult to tell with all the different version 😅
i wish i knew no thrills was an options before getting to lategame lol
No frills needs more marketing 🤔
you can fly with jetpack press the boost button serveral times for useing fly ^^
I thought LobsterJohn fixed that 🤔
@@Pilpohno, its still working
Funfact, there is a ATM9 to the skies modpack which makes the starry bees completely useless because it doesn't have the star recipe with the shards
I thought they added the star recipe? 🤔
In the reactor room you stepped on a pressure plate and an entire wall opens up ….. do you have a video on how you made that I would really like to do it please
I made it in my ATM9 No Frills series, I think it was the industrial foregoing episode or around that area 😉
I not sure if you notice but if you use Jetpack in no fly zone you can still fly which I did use it of the Jetpack in no fly zone. Which is kinda odd but it seems likely a bypass?? Idk if that fact or something but who knows
It's meant to disable the jetpack 🤔 I know you can rapidly turn it off and on but I didn't know it was totally broken... I may mention that to LobsterJohn 😉
@@Pilpoh I didn’t do rapidly turn off and on I just leave Jetpack on and it still fly but also if the hover mode is on and it still able to fly even in other dimension that are no fly zone but I am still able to fly no matter and also if you wear mekanism power armor or just use hydrogen Jetpack it still work in the no fly zone which is kinda weird and I never notice of the text pop up of said no fly allow even though I didn’t know it not supposed to fly.
That sounds like a bug to me 🤔 I'll give it a go myself and let the dev know!
@@Pilpoh I mean it could but I play other modpack at different version of Minecraft like a twilight dimension and I use mekanism hydrogen Jetpack to fly around at that even though I didn’t know and I watch RUclips quite a lot and I seen most of people playing Minecraft modpack and I see people use Jetpack flying in no fly zone. But I could be mistaken but still I could be wrong about it but who know. I mean I almost feel like the code for no fly zone it base of reading of player is double click on space bar to “activate” creative flight in survival mode but on Jetpack it different story it single press space bar to fly up that all.
I want to ask, is the version of All the mods9 no frills greatly reduced? I just have a weak computer, but I started using the atm9 regular version a long time ago and I’m wondering if it’s worth switching to no frills
You'd have to start over with no frills unfortunately but atm9 is meant to work with 4gb of ram. It won't work well but it will work 😂 I recommend 10gb at least in general for modded nowerdays
@@Pilpoh oh, 200 hours for nothing, hahaha. thanks for the answer. you make cool videos!
What do you mean the everbright doesnt have weather? It was snowing do much that there were snow blocks all around the boss i couldnt beat
Unless thats a config, because that actually happened to me in the BMC4 modpack
It didn't have weather when I last checked 🤔
It was snowing *do* much🥲
will a world made in atm 9 work in atm 9 no thrills? also i use the swap off hand key to quickly move items in my hotbar without having to open my inventory
No frill will work if the save is moved to the main Atm9 but not the other way around 🤔
Did you come from console? Swap to offhand is hardly used by myself
I know there is jei. But I REALLY like having a box that tells me what I can build with the inventory I have currently. Is there anything for this?
I think the green book thing in your inventory will show you all the recipes that you can currently craft with the items in your inventory. The crafting book thing? It's vanilla I know that 🤔
After like 6 years i came back to Minecraft after I played a lot of ftb and buildcraft, I tried ATM9.
I have play throughs of ATM7, 8 and 9 but I'd highly recommend my atm9 no frill let's play as I go over everything in the "new pack" 😉
Last I checked they were still there! I think you got massively unlucky! 🤔
Still no tinned beans. But if you hold the linking tool and look around it shows the range of the selected controller.
Great tip! 😁 More beans needed though to be fair
I didn't know they were bugged 😱 I mean if there were bugs with it it must be fixed!
Can't you just get into power with magmatic Dynamos with a crucible setup using a super heated element and pipes?
This video is for ATM9 and ATM9 No Frills, not for ATM9 To The Sky 😉
should have added food options to ... perhaps
Ooo good point! I'm gonna do some shorts and add more tips 😁
staff of traveling flight is basically AOTE
Exactly 😁 easier to get too!
@ true
does the latest version of the game still have Evoker Fang spawner?
I've not tried recently but I had someone comment recently saying that that tip was still working 🤔 let me know what you find out 😁
15:00 You forgot to add a link to your EvilCraft guide 👍
I think I can put links here! I'll add it to the desc in the morning 😉 ruclips.net/video/ws0IPlfZwRw/видео.htmlsi=GQ-70pE4_pnTBFzy
@@Pilpoh You did not
I accidently turned off the tool tip thing at the top of the screen does anyone know how to get it back?
Search for the jade button (press all the number pad buttons) I set my observable button to be the jade turn off button so got hella confused at the end of my No Frills run haha 😁
You seem to lean towards the tech mods. The magic mods can also do at least some of the things that you mention here. The one that stood at to me is that you can get ores from the mining dimension through Occultism. Bit of a process to get to it, so maybe the tech mod way is easier, I'm not sure. Ars also has good/similar options for travel. :D
I used the Occultism lamps when you could use an eternal stella on them! This is no longer an option unfortunately 😔
Ars is also a decent option, it's easier to express on camera how to use tech mods in my opinion 😉
How do i fix these configs Bob_Smith19 is talking about?
I didn't change my configs, I'm sure people on my discord could let you know though 😉
I use capslock for ultimine...
That's actually a great key for it! Its right next the the walking around keys and can be accessed with the little finger 😁
Ore's :? easy base materials ?
Chunk destroyer 🤔 white concrete 😉
oFF HAND PUT IN TORCH
I'm not saying don't use off hand I'm saying I don't use the swap to offhand button 😂
Also, hello 👋
Also hi 😊
bro use your tool belt theres a button in the mod to open a slot specifically for it lol
Good tip! I should have added this one too 😉
The only use of offhand-swap I remember: shovel shuffle ruclips.net/video/Ch3f51PCHqs/видео.htmlsi=3oflyv-g4krcbJI3

All the mods means all the mods 😂
The thing I like about this Modpack is you don't need to use all the mods. I play with my sister and she just messes around with mine colonies while I'm making op gear and summoning little helpers 😂
@@Blacky_ljb1 its pretty fun but idk might be addictive if u get into all these dif mods.

Ok...
Kaylie Islands
No idea why this is happening but ok! 😁
I'm almost at the Greg Star. The only thing I need to do is upgrade the pack because the recipe for the Star Forge is borked in my version. 😉
Edit: I spoke too soon - I have to get into EnderIO because the recipe uses End Steel Exchangers rather than normal ones. Urgh. 😢
I mean, if you're at the point of the GregStar, it's not that much of a problem to get Endsteel
@@nemesissombria True, I've already done it since posting the edit about 45 minutes ago. 😂
I kinda wish enderio was incorporated into the ATM star 🤔 it was toted as one of the main mods in the pack but isn't really utilised much (I love it just for the travel anchors 😂)
@@Pilpoh I the version I'm playing it doesn't even have a quest line. There's no book either so I'm just trying to remember what you did in various playthroughs and searching stuff online. It's infuriating when there's nothing in JEI other than an item but no idea how to get it. 🙄
Such a good mod! 🤔
My what am I looking at isn’t working
Not sure what you are asking here... 🤔
@@Pilpohhe's saying Waila isn't working, but I think it's just a config thing, by default a lot of things are Nerfed and the whole pack is underpowered and not fun without messing with settings.
