- This 2v2 battle was one of many in this Best of 7 that really excited me for more team games. This showmatch used the "two pools" format where 7 civs were picked for each team and their opponent. Pool 1 being the top tier civs, and Pool 2 being not so good civs. Brought in some excellent entertainment and all games will be uploaded to RUclips! Here were the civs selected - prnt.sc/qztw1t

I feel proud I saw a T90 blind for once. Big army of scouts sneaking kinda hard to miss tho.

Noob ? How do you que units to hold inside barracks to unleash at once. Instead of letting them out one by one when they are built.

Jokes on you the franks are also a germanic tribe, originally. They started in between todays germany anf france and later held a territory of basically all of todays france and the western half of todays germany, austria, swizerland , some of italy etc. Even today there's a region in germany called "Franken".

What if instead of husbandry, ironclad gave the knight line +1/+1 or even +2/+0. Stick with the slow and tough, and late game theme, but make more use of the farm bonus.
I assume this game was before the automatic armor that the Teutons received.

I've been out of the loop for a while now .... what are the infos behind t90 statement that the franks are "must have" in 2v2 arabia? Last time I checked they get nothing but a "very good but not best" knight rush and "very good but arguably not the absolute best" paladins end game so....just prepare mass halbs and win no? (and I say that because I love franks but never really saw how to bring them into "serious mode")
from what i understand straggler trees aren't that bad if they have only 1tile of space between them and your tc is there something im missing there? because u still can get more efficient chopping later when it matters more after dark age

@T90Official when you upload game 5 you can Title it "AM don't like raiding trade" Amazing best of 7! Highly recommend you to watch them all. The most intense was game 5, Little Spoil:

1440/2160p view distance needs to be perma locked for games, spectating though is fine... but that view distance vs someone playing a lower res is crazy.

Literally what is the problem with chopping straggler trees early? I do it so I can quickly afford two lumber camps and a mill, and it works pretty well

melangium Boars and other hunt don't loose food anymore when getting killed by the tc. It was accidentally implemented in the last update or the one before, but the devs are open to keep it that way and most pros don't dislike/ mind it. It might stay that way, if the community hates it, they'll change it again.

Newbie question about straggler trees. It seems like I can't place my farms over them until I've knocked them down. I don't have to take the wood, just chop them down. Am I missing something? Knocking them down before building feels like a real slowdown.
That's why you don't cut them. Build your farms around them

Extreme AI beated ;) Islands Random Map. Yees, it's easier and yes they stopped playing after some hours. Happens to Extreme AI as well it seems. Im still proud! Their attacks were no fun and it was impossible to attack back, 20 docks popping right back and ships from everyone. Maybe im step closer to online matches now but still can't believe to beat anyone so no :/ Campaigns it is.
somebody tell me how its humanly possible to drush but still get to castle by 16 fucking minutes. I can barely manage 17 with huns, without making any military prior

When inexperienced players watch a game like this they complain about how theyre too short. But they dont understand just how pro it is a shorter the game the more high level the plays are in this game. The longer the game the lower the skill level. In my opinion seeing high level players quitting before every last villager is dead is something i absolutely hate i will push and push until my enemy is either defeated or ive lost every last villager. A recovery is possible as long as villagers live.
The difference is that pro players have better game sense. Their experience allows them to know when to quit and when to keep fighting and be right almost every time.
This is a great little piece of history. 👍😇
So much happens subsequently, but the best thing is that all these superb Players are back in AoE2 DE now in 2022.
