It all starts in you the gut, healing your gut, finding food triggers and sensitivities, and balancing hormones. Clean skincare, regulating nervous system. I hear a lot of people healing acne addressing those issues

I didn't have acne until 3 years ago. I had the occasional pimple for 27 years... Now I have cystic acne at 30.
Most people have struggles with their skin.

Jenette thank you for doing this. You inspire me SO much. I'm 28, I grew up watching you on "that one show" and you doing this on here gives me a way to relax and also relate to some of the stuff you're going through. Love you girl🤗❤

I’ve been the same way with acne. I felt hopeless about it. Then I kept seeing curology and might as well try it and wow it has done the most ever. People have even said that my face looks so much better. I still get breakouts every so often usually on my time of the month but if I don’t use it cause I run out, I definitely know a difference with it.

It could be a chronic stress triggered immune issue, making your skin more prone to bacterial infection or a hyper active immune response. Ironically accepting it might help ease stress around it and alleviate the severity of the acne.

amazing podcast, I'm so glad it's being uploaded to RUclips! ❤ i was on accutane as a teenager and it made me so depressed I tried to kill my first boyfriend 😮 but it fixed my acne after so many side effects, and dryness to the point that I had no fingerprints left, and depression that I couldn't shake for over ten years, but it gave me amazing skin lol ❤

Girl what the fuck? An acne medication can’t make you almost be a murderer and being depressed absolutely does not do that either. Get serious therapy

I'm 32 and still struggle with acne too. Its hard. Having wrinkles start to develop and a big ol pimple there too is a real piss off.
I've gotten a lot better about accepting it since moving to a super hot climate where makeup basically melts off. It forced me to be ok with it.

Omg I was going to ask if you have tried benzoyl peroxide! But I was sure you had. It's been the only thing to help me. I've only just recently found it again here and it's already helping.

When people compliment my skin, it makes me sick in a sad, embarrassed and almost aggressive way. Because I also feel I've just learned better ways to apply makeup. Hearing a compliment on my complexion makes me want to scream "YOU DONT EVEN KNOW and I think you're lying to me." I also used to say that being overweight would be better because that can be changed through exercise and diet. I can't change my acne I can only temporarily cover it. I worry that my acne will just transition to wrinkles and I will never experience clear, pretty, and healthy skin. It's scary to try new products because it might make my skin worse, and there might be the "purge period" where the skin expells all the disgusting crap from pores and looks 100x worse. Honestly, bless your heart and spirit for struggling with this while being famous, and I'm happy you've found relief.

I will try the benzoyl peroxide! I have been using adapalene every night for about 2 weeks now and I definitely see a difference as well. I did have a “purge” experience though. Yuck. But I see the silver lining. Thanks for sharing your journey and being vulnerable with us (once again 🙂)

Look at me, I'm a mirror. We have so much in common Jennette. I'm not a phony fake frat brat using dumbass psychology. I hate the Book of Mormon god too. I'm just like you. I like what you like. I hate what you hate. I copy everything. My authenticity is zilch

Isn't acne the company Wiley E Coyote orders weapons to catch the Roadrunner?
Get religious with states' rights and the Biblical nonviolence of Jesus The Christ of The Holy Bible.
Only the amazing grace of Jesus The Christ of The Holy Bible has been saving a miserable wretch like me.

Did you try to stop using magnifying glasses, microscopes, and telescopes when you look in the mirror?
Because you looked great whenever I met you.

      First I meet Jennette McCurdy.
      Next I meet Herbie Hancock.
