Hi Christine, we had a bumper crop last year. So this year I’m growing less, the way the weather is I might regret that decision. 😂😂😂❤️😍😘👍
Tip with bags... I fold top down like a sock top that way you can put goodies in bag and inside of the top of bag stays clean.
I do sieve tomato seeds out first but that is something I have learnt I prefer over years.
Many ways to make a base sauce I tend to just season, cook and freeze, and when I take out I then add extras like onions, garlic, herbs, dark chocolate, red wine,
lea and perrins etc depending what I am cooking.
I used to add everything in but then found heck I wanted a sauce with less something in it and obviously could not take out but could always add.
That will add into make a tasty meal during winter though and flat freezing such a space saver.
Well thank you so much for sharping you experience with us all. This is new to me as we only got the vacuumed sealer this year.
I thought adding everything would make it easier when cooking a chilli but I also thought that limits it’s uses.
We also wondered about the sieving as well and that’s a good point too.
I did fold the top like a sock but I still had to clean the top of the bag 😂😂😂😂 I should be more careful.
I’m still getting a few tomatoes so I’ll have another go. Thank you for taking the time to help us all 👏👏👏👏👌😘
I love home grown tomatoes! Mine are winding down due to temperatures in the 40’s F at night.
Hi Janis, our tomatoes are almost finished now. We’ve just had a few days of really warm and sunny weather and that’s caused a sudden ripening ❤️🥰😍😘👍
You can’t beat the smell of a home grown tomato! Great call making a sauce to freeze. Cheers

Good job guys, a capful of whiskey is nice in a bolognaise sauce, so is a spoon of marmite, much better using your own produce than buying it.🙏👍👊🥰

hi graham and wendy, that sauce looked ok even before you cooked it and you got a lot out of it. did you have a taste of it after the cooking , as you said there was a lot of herbs and i wondered how it worked out , great video again

Hi Sandra, I felt we had to do something with the tomatoes as we’ve had so many this year. I better watch my step with the spoon stand. To be honest I’m getting used to using it and it is ok. That TEMU video was a laugh 😂😂😂😂🥰😍😘👍
