just found your channel, I'm a freshman studying comp sci too! (not electrical engineering though). This is a cool concept of a video, to interview friends about their college process. Can't wait to see more!
on that section where it asks "how have you learned about yale?" you're up there on my list, Josh. Thank you. And these guys are amazing, and the videos are fun to watch, you people are fun to listen to. great job! keep it up
Sourb Mahi, I didn't want to comment on the video because it was just pointless (it was an essay he wrote over a year ago; there's nothing anyone can do about it now), but I 100% agree. He made himself out to be a complete genius and he tried way too hard ... it was honestly unnecessary because he had much more genuine achievements than ones that he fabricated to make himself look like a typical Ivy student.
Hey Josh, nice college advice, currently stressing out XD How'd you get permission to use the intro and outro songs in the description? I don't think they're copyright free
Do you have any advice for interviews? I just applied to Yale and they emailed me asking to set up an interview with an alumnus, it's next Sunday. Did you get interviewed? If so, I could really use a video about that!
No hate, but these videos would be way more helpful if these people shared their high school stats or what they wrote for their Yale supplements or advice on how they approached them. All these interviews are blending and there’s so much redundancy.. it’s starting to become quantity over quality.
Yeah, I think there's a lack of focus. Josh said he wanted to help people applying to college _now_ , and giving advice to middle schoolers is not doing that.
Yale has a need-blind admission policy, which means an applicant's ability to pay won't affect his chances of admission. Yale also has need-blind financial aid. If your family income is less than 65000$, you don't have to pay a cent. You should have mentioned these facts. Princeton, Harvard, MIT, Stanford also have the same policy.

Why did you delete your intellectual vitality video?
I'm not Josh but maybe he received a negative reaction?
Love your vids! ❤❤❤
Ahhh Josh!!! I met Kingrey today when I was walking in New Haven today!!!
Kingrey is a pretty cool name
"rey" is king in Spanish, so essentially, his name is "Kingking"
Hey I would just like to thank you for your content since they helped me get into my dream school Duke! :)
congrats!
I appreciate the new college vids.😂
Congrats on 10K
Why did you delete the one says intellectual vitality
Seya Lee I'd say that he deleted perhaps because of the fact that some people called him pretentious?
Melissa Atmaca oh no:( Josh I don’t want people to run a taut ship on your video, because those are amazing no matter what
You really think an 8 year old can understand Albert Einstein theory of relativity without calculus knowledge... it sounds contrived/pretentious.
Sourb Mahi you don't need calculus to understand special relativity!!!!!! you fkn kiddin me?

When you do these sorts of interviews, can you discuss SAT scores and GPA?
Sy3D S Yes, please.
You know your channel is starting to take off when the negative comments start rolling in. Nice content bro 👌

I totally agree. Most of us have already heard these advice. At this point, we want to know what kind of stats got in so we can know our own chances.
Yeah I felt the same
But not everyone feels okay with sharing their stats.... The videos are good though; they show the viewers how life at Yale is...
Kingrey 2020
