Really appreciate all your help I have another question. I have a i905 alpine head unit with rca’s running to the R2-A60F 4 channel amplifier and a R2-S653 set of component speakers, do I run all the speaker cables to the cross over , as in just one set of speaker cables from the amp to the cross overs and then wire all the speakers from the crossover, if so do I need to bridge the cables from the amp to the crossover , as it’s a 4 channel amp,if so what size wiring will suit it ,or should I just have the subs from the component speakers wired directly from amp to the speakers and run another speaker to the crossover feeding the mid and the tweeter .Please Help
Nice Video for a nice Radio, but what happened to the original hazard warning lights Button and the Clock? The Clock is not so important, but the hazard lights are.
Thanks for the reply I’m in the middle of wiring my alpine i905 to my 70 series with a aerpro steering wheel control if you have any footage of wiring can you please let me know as I’m having a hard time with it
@shdhrjdi The pre 24 70's don't have steering wheel controls, so this one did not have any. It should be a pretty standard toyota wire up. Are you sure you have the correct patch harness for the aerpro module?
Jay I just did sound deadening in my 21 Elantra. Never done it before. Went with kilmat 80 mil and it took me 17 hours over four days to do the four doors! I did the inside door skin, every flat spot on the plastic attached to the door and also every flat spot on the door card. Upgraded to Hertz DSK 6.5 comps in the front and 6.5 coaxs in the rear. Just running on deck power now but WOW! What a difference! Doing the rest of the car in the next month. My question, is 80 mil enough to take care of road noise? Sorry for the novel mate!
Good job mate, deadening really is the most important task of any good quality install. As for how much to use, every car is different. We did tripple layer on this LC79 and we could have gone further, but it made a massive difference. Wheel arches, floor, wheel well and under the back seat are your main road noise concerns, the roof also makes a massive difference as its the largest flat panel on the car and can resonate a lot. Also once the roof is done the wind and rain noise is virtually non existent 🙂
Hi Awesome info and love the look of them and how they sit. Just wondering if there is any info regarding the rear entertainment outlet (hdmi out) and how many screen to the rear that can be run off this unit ie, 2 rear screens or single roof fold down unit?
Thanks mate 🙂 It is just a single hdmi output from the unit, mainly designed for the Alpine roof mounted monitor. It can be used for 2 monitors but will display the same output.
Another great video. On another note, and a wild out there hopeful question, could you guys recommend anyone in Launceston who does installs to a good standard. Someone who takes similar pride in their workmanship?
Thanks buddy 🙂 I would love to give you a recommendation but I don't personally know any of the shops in Tas. Ill try and ask a few people and see if i can get any info for you. We have actualy done a few cars from Tas, and all over Aus 🙂
My Tundra used to sound like a tin cab. Deadening made all the difference
It really does, can't agree more!

Thats a slick kit. I have gone with just a basic single din in mine(did not have the factory screen), this might have to go on the list

The clock is deleted while the hazard button is relocated into the blank position on the heater control panel with a new switch 🙂
What happens with the hazard switch?????

@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 I’m using the chto3c and the apalppl from aeropro
This is a truly nice kit, but where is the hazard or emergency switch?
A new button is relocated down into a blank on the heating/cooling control panel 🙂

do you sell these? Need to order the same for my LC79 DC -
Отличная работа, ребята!
Спасибо 🙂
How much approximately for sound deadening on a 76?

@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 your awesome! Thanks Jay. I'll let ya know how it turns out👍
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video I
Installing the i905 do you need to instal the vss vehicle speed sensor pulse line
Not 100% necessary, but I would recommend it. It is hooked up to the original unit, so it is there with the original wiring.
@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 what colour is it

Damn that’s a tidy unit 👍🏻
It is indeed 🙂
Where does the hazard light button relocate too?
It gets relocated into the blank spot to the left of the heater controls 🙂
Did you have to cut the dash mount to allow it to fit. Just doing one now on my lc79 2015 single cab it’s a bit of a nightmare
Yes, you do have to cut the inner part of the dash. Can be a little fidly but the reward is worth the effort 😊
How much cost for whole job?
Another great video.

@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 Got the install sorted. Thanks for the thought.
Did u wire up the factory camera to the Headunit and does it automatically turn on when u put it in reverse?
This had an aftermarket camera on it but you can definitely can keep the factory camera working. Yes, turns on when the car is put in reverse 🙂
Is there new better speakers that fit in to replace the originals ? Thanks
Yeah absolutely, I would recommend the Helix S4X, great speakers for a factory location 🙂
Check out the new Alpine door pods!
Does factory antenna height adjustment work with this HU?
Yes it does, functions exactly like factory :)
At least there was no nightmare wiring to deal with...
Well not like the Lambo anyway lol. Always something to fix haha
