Harper Leitner When I first read this story I though her mother was just sleeping there, literally, but now I get it that her mother is dead; that's why she spent time with her father. It hit me in the feels.
You don't understand this kind of stuff as a kid because you're so insensitive, you just see Rosalina as the woman you go see to get another mission. But seeing it when you're older makes you realise how much of their heart and soul Nintendo put into this game to make it an absolute masterpiece.
So true!!! Back when I was a young teen (15-16 years old and played this game), I just skipped this story because I found it "boring"!! But now I am 24 and decided to go through the story again after all those years. and see what I missed........................................Weeeeeeeeelllllll let's just say (what all the people say when they watch Ash get turned into stone in the first pokemon movie). "Damn ninja's chopping onions in my room again"!!!
When I found a bunch of people playing this game and finishing it I saw how much heart and soul Nintendo put into this. The storybook is just so amazing and every time I look up someone reading it I just cry every time. This game is so beautiful and Rosalina had a hard life as a child...
Satellite Moon I like to imagine Rosalina goes to that hill every 100 years and just watches the star bits fall. She may have done this 1000 times but she still does it because it’s the only time she can connect with her real family and her space family
@@lolanisa6271 Yep i'm going through Space and Time and inside a fucking turtle to save someone special to me and yet people call me a racist psychopath because matpat made a theory on me
“She’s sleeping under the tree on the hill” it hits you like a bullet when you realize what it meant in a franchise where dying is falling in lava and having more attempts at it it’s kind of spooky that a character is gone forever. Where death in the Mario games is just being able to come back but a character dying is just unsettling Holy crap I forgot this comment exsisted one year later
Yeah. I’d never thought there’d be an actual death to happen like that in a Mario game. Usually when a character dies in a Mario game, they usually come back to life. Looking back now on this game, I found it really sad and dark for a Mario game and it really caught me off-guard.
Me: "So she just permanently upped and outted on her dad and brother without saying anything?" Story: "The comet visits the girl's home planet once every 100 years." Me: :)
@@zeldie2375 I honestly assumed that it was implied they were gone too, since she so readily leaves the planet altogether after a few years of she and the Luma living together.
I REALLY wished that Nintendo released this story as an actual children's book so parents can read this story to their children before bed time. I may just recreate it myself when I eventually have kids. It's a beautiful story :')
Coincidentally, this happened to me a week ago. When I read that heartbreaking quote, I couldn't stop crying for a few minutes before picking up and finishing.
Omg.. When I first heard this while playing the game when I was about 6 or 7 I always thought that when she said 'my mother is sleeping under the tree on the hill' I never actually knew what it meant, but now.. I realised that it means she is buried on the hill.. This is so sad..
9:45 And then, after only after you dry your tears, do you press the A button to continue. And then Rosalina closes the book and says, "That should do it for today." And then you start wailing all over again.
"I'll never see my mother ever again!" im crying now that line hit me hard, it's 1am also the sleeping under the tree over the hill fricking got me it's really amazing how a company like nintendo can break us into tears with fun, light-hearted video games but with sadness in them
Actually, shehad a beautiful childhood, save for her mothers death and eventually leaving her home planet for some unknown reason. The point is that she misses her great childhood where she could spend time with his father, brother and mother, run without a care through wide green fields and gaze at the stars. But that time is long gone, and this story is how she comes to accept that and let it go. Really touching.
Someone tell me WHY Miyamoto was against this? It's things like this that make the Galaxy games so unique. This story literally makes me tear up. In a MARIO game, no less. This is why I want Galaxy 3, if it is happening, to have a deep story.
Which is why the mario games have gotten old. No offense to Miyamoto, but his games really lack personality. You ask me, what is my favorite game where I am NOT nostalgia blind? I say, Kid Icarus Uprising, which is directed by SAKURAI. That game is FULL of personality. Mario needs personality and it needs it fast
I would want a story where luma finds its mother and Mario has to fight the mother, but he doesn't know it Is the mother, and then when luma comes out, both of them are shocked.
9:00 when the music stopped my heart just sank. It’s probably the saddest part of the whole story because the whole story is about Rosalina and how she became a mom to the Luma’s and how her planet was made and this scene in particular reveals that her mother died and wants her back so desperately and wants to see her and hear her voice and to hear her say “I love you” and she wants to go back to earth to see her and relive her memories but like Luma said to Rosalina later in the story “she’s a part of you so she’ll always be with you” meaning the spirit of her mom with never be forgotten and she can always remember the happy times she had with her
It's so sad to think that Rosalina had lost her mother in her youth. Her quote, "She's sleeping under the tree on the hill!" always makes me cry. Although, now that I think about it, how on Earth, pun not intended, did her mother even die?
@@kingbopit9318 Or maybe she was suffering from a broken heart probably from finding out that her child had gone missing and hadn't been seen ever since. Look, I know I asked, but I probably don't wanna know.
those both pander to teenage girls in putting on the front that they're saying something 'real,' when in reality it's just tearbait and more tearbait. and angst. and every other possible way they can pander.
"She's sleeping under a tree on the hill!" I played this game when I was 6. All of the allusions to Rosalina's mother's death completely evaded me. But the sense of loneliness of her and that luma going out into space together was there from the very start. Coming back to this now, I can't believe how perfectly they nailed this. It's honestly so drvsstaring.
Considering we all knew that the heros' deaths in Infinity War were going to be undone (we knew Infinity War would be a two-parter), I really don't think that many cried (albeit I was a bit mad that they had the nerve to kill Fury).
I always found it worse to wonder what ever became of the rest of her family after she left only to come back every hundred years. Everyone will die someday, but the sadness left behind is what gets me. It just makes me wonder if she left behind her father and brother like her mother did or if they would’ve seen her again.
oml So, let me get this straight. The mother, she apparently died, and was buried underneath the tree. The Dream was the mother giving her last words to her daughter, Rosalina. Oml why
There's many signs that is Peach But yet still unconfirmed 12 years later -__- *I played SMG1 in 2010* Like Rosalina had an crown on her on the first chapter obviously some kind of princess *Explodes due intense thinking and theories and stuff*
Rosalina and Luma’s story hits so hard for me. My mom died when I was little, and idk if it’s the story or the music or both, but it hits like a truck every time I play through and hear that soft music start to play. Part seven’s sleeping under the hill leaves no shock or awe, just memories. Unwanted, intrusive memories.
Yeah, that line is just devastating. Its like your heart just dies and revives in a second. Its really impressive to think this story was written in just one night! Guess someone at Nintendo is a really good writer.
Yeah. I kinda wish that more mainstream Mario games had that kind of writing. I know the RPGs have that kind of vibe, but it sucks that more mainstream Mario games don’t have that
@@justyouraverageaj8675 yeah, you can blame shigeru miyamoto for that. I know hes a pioneer and he saved the game industry and all, but I feel like hes becoming what I can only describe as “a boomer game developer” that doesnt let the mario team make a story for the games.
@@justyouraverageaj8675 Yeah, I suppose it is better to have no story than to have a story about time travel thats completele full with plot holes. But they have made a story for paper mario thousand year door and super paper mario, so I dont see the point in miyamotos philosophy of “mario dont need no story”.
Memorable Man it’s not even that modern Mario games don’t have a story. It’s just that the story’s too simple, doesn’t have any compelling themes like Galaxy or Paper Mario
I'm a Mario and a science fiction fan (this story is about a princess in outer space and looking at the stars and cosmos), you bet I'm telling this story to my children and my grandchildren. This is a beautiful story.
This is one of the reasons Super Mario Galaxy is the best game ever Edit : never mind , this is the true reason why Super Mario Galaxy is the best game ever !
I think that what makes this game special is a mix of that storybook, and its hidden meaning and philosophy of just enjoying the way to your destination, God, what a special game.
Hearing that part just gave me chills when I was younger and I was a little dumbfounded because I didn't know what it meant either until reading it a couple more times
I would have never expected a Mario game out of all franchises to have a very sweet and poignant story like this. Then again it is mostly inspired by "the little prince".
Kitalala whoaaa having a bad day? That name-calling was completely unprovoked and unnecessary. You don't exactly know where Nintendo gets their inspiration either and even so, is it really that big of a deal to go off on someone like that?
🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 And to think even though she lost her mother. Rosalina selflessly helps out Mario to reunite him with his dear princess peach. It's heartbreaking and heartwarming as well. This scene had me sobbing. Rosalina seems so gentle and caring.
They need to make a game based on this book where you play as the child Rosalina and then the teenager and then she slowly becomes an adult. She could play just like mario did in galaxy with maybe a little more speed and jump height. I'd buy it and play the shit out of it. Who's with me?
This is so sad. the luma was looking for his mother, well actually rosalina was looking for her to come back. But the lumas helped her understand that some things are gone, and transform into other things like comets and its our destiny to become something we chose and then one day eventually die, but remember that we live on in our childs. Thats the only way to find peace after all. Truly beautiful
Honestly Rosalina is my favorite female mario character. 1. She doesn't have a love intrest/opposite gender partner which is something I can't say for Peach, and Daisy. 2. She has a really cool back story. 3. She is a leader because she helps all sorts of creatures and mario. 4. She has a very calm personality 5. She has all sorts of powers. I love her more than any other female mario character.
Rosalina is my favorite female Mario character too, as much as I love Princess Peach, who takes the silver medal for best female Mario character. All three princesses are some of the best characters in the series; I don't care about anyone's nitpicks. I love Rosalina's story, and let me tell you, Mario Galaxy is the only game in the series that has moments like this that can actually make me cry.
A leading theory is that Rosalina is Luigi’s gf/wife and Pauline is Mario’s. A leading Peach theory is that she is actually evil and uses Mario for her grunt work.
_when I was very young. I never thought about this game. All I saw was a game with wonderful fun and adventures. But one day I unlocked the story story book and asked my mother to read it to me because I didn't really understand it. I started to understand what it meant and I started crying because i thought it was so sad. I never had this feeling from a mario game. I now understood the game and it wasn't the same anymore. Everytime I play mario galaxy, I remember how sad it is and I start crying. I love this game and it has brought many emotions out of me. Thank you Nintendo. This game is a masterpiece._
not only the tree scene, but the scene of the first luma transforming into a comet makes me cry as well. that first luma was crying and felt all alone at the beginning, and through rosalina he finally felt ready to go after his destiny, accepting that he can’t be a luma by rosalina's side anymore so that he can make her happy again. this story is just so deep on many levels, but the theme of motherhood and life is just so beautifully executed.
This is the best story Nintendo ever came up with! I cry every time! I don't like it when daisy-lovers hate Rosalina because she appears in too many games... How would they feel if they lost their mother? 😕
To be precise........Rosalina is supposed to be Peach's daughter and Mario or Luigi being the father. How is Rosanila the same age as Peach then? Because as we are told in Mario Galaxy, the galaxy itself RESETS every now and then and each time its destroyed and reborn. Everyone dies and everyone gets reborn.......except Rosalina of course which is simply one version of Rosalina from an older galaxy which managed to slip beyond the fabric of time. She is the mother of the lumas now and oversees the galaxy's destruction and rebirth. But it still remains a fact that she is the daughter of a previous version of Peach from a previous Galaxy that has already been destroyed and got reborn. Nobody knows of this....except Rosalina. She is the only one who knows of this and she has to live with knowing that her parents are dead but versions of them are alive. So she passess every 100 years from her planet to simply take a look at the newer versions of her father and mother because she miss them.....despite knowing its not really them! So sad!
I replayed this game in my early teens. The line “the star bits tasted like honey” was the moment I remembered the story. The entire game, but most importantly this story, are absolute works of art.
I can see this as a short. like the Kid Icarus, Pikmin and Star Fox ones. But Miyamoto wouldn't allow it. since he doesn't like having stories in Mario games for some jacked up reason.
No, no. I think He has the right idea. The games are meant to be an escape to relax. The one story with Rosalina was very nice, but I think if they did it much more it would not only lose it's charm, but also take away a bit of the fun simple nature of Mario games.
Rosalina helped Mario through his quest, because she knew what it was like to lose someone who you love. But she always called Peach Mario’s “special one” instead of loved one, because saying loved one was too painful for her.
I remember the day I first played this game at my grandmas house. I always wanted to stay up and keep playing but I had school... immediately after I came back, I’d always play this game as long as I could. I loved it so much and remembered the sweet, calming music as well as the visuals. I’m 17 now and was going across the internet and came across the image where Rosalina was looking out her fathers telescope with Luma supporting it. I shed a tear and decided to come back to this video to watch this scene again. I cried immediately when I heard the beginning of the song. Watching the visuals flip by brought me back to my childhood. I miss those days... I cried so, so much as it’s hard to type this. I sometimes wish I could go back to relive those moments again. I’ve been going through a lot lately and this helped a lot. Thank you for uploading this. ❤️😭🥺
Hi everyone, I know this comment might be 7 years late, lol! During this quarantine I've questioned suicide, like whats the point of life anymore. I always loved playing mario games, but I haven't touched my wii since 2013. Last week I was playong Mario odyssey and remembered this story, I opened mario galaxy and remembered all the great memories I had on this beautiful game. All the new power ups, all the excitement, but this story, taught me something. Cherish everything and everyone. This story is the reason I am still alive right now. Luma touched my heart, giving up his life to make Rose happy, I finished the game in 3 days last week, and was sad when i finished it. The beginning also made me cry. I remember the first day I hought the game 😭😭. It was 2010 i was 4 years old. I was at costco with my mom and i saw the game, amd these were my words, "mommy its mario, cam we get it?" We ended up buying it and its a chouce I will never forget. I took my moms phone and called my brother right away. I remember the night, it was a warm evening. Me and brither caught the bunnies and were so excited. I went to sleep with my favorite toad stuffie that night. Last night I pulled out that same toad plush, and held it close to my heart. Im 14 now and still love anything to do with mario, it has been a whole decade now that i think of it. 10 years of fun, joy, adventures. Consoles of all sorts. The wii, wii u, ds, 3ds, and the switch, i even have a gamecube. But the wii, the wii will always be cherished to me, I almost sold it last year causd I needed money to but something, I am so happy now that I didn't. I have no put in from my living room into my bedroom and cant stop playing the classics. Mario galaxy, mario broz, mario kart, mario party, the list goes on, I hope anyone who reads this enjoys my story, dont be afraid to leave a like. My Instagram is @marc.theofanis ic you would like to chat about anything Nintendo, just let me know if you request to message/follow me, Have great day everyone!
Yo man, I just wanted to let you know that there are people out there who love and care about you. Hold onto those memories, even if they can be a little embarrassing. They help make you a unique person with varied interests.
Yeah man I’m still questioning suicide at the moment life is very hard and to me at least 95% of the time is grief and a struggle but if I’m honest Mario has been there my whole life all the characters hanging with friends playing games laughing takes away the pain of life and makes it numb grief is a norm in life and we can’t do anything to stop it but these little moments playing Mario with friends are what it for these moments will never disappear and that’s why we need to keep living
@@nr_6170 Yeah, and your friends want to spend time with you as much as you want to see them. We all go through really rough times, but I swear it does get better. So, if we're going to assume that the whole game theory episode about this is true, and considering that rebirth is a common theme in Galaxy... This means that Peach and Mario are Rosalina's parents, and if Peach is dead... That means practically every character from the Super Mario franchise has been reborn many times; all of which probably without memory of Rosalina. Wow, that's some pretty deep, dark stuff man.
You'll walk into their room only to see their beds wet. You'll probably think they pissed their pants while sleeping but in reality it was actually the story you read for them last night
This story. I swear to god, I just could not stop crying when she started crying out for her mom. Now it's worse because it's making me think of mine now! DX
This is the most heart felt thing I've ever read. Nintendo did a great job on this game! The music and everything totally puts the story INFRONT of the game itself. I know It's normal for 12 year old girls to cry, but this made me teary! Everytime I hear this song i have a spark in my heart as well. 👍wish they made more games like this.
I miss this, Rosalina used to be a goddess. Blessed with the powers of the stars but also blessed with the curse of watching the cycle of not only galaxies grow old and falter but watch as Luma’s leave her side to follow their destiny of being a star. She makes various stories through a lifetime and Mario’s is just a story to her, Mario and his friends will die of old age and Rosalina will just have to watch and live on as the Galaxy intends But in present day, They converted Rosalina into just another Princess.. that hovers
like you said, Mario and friends are probably gonna die before her and just be a story, maybe she’s just spending time with them before she outlived them and can enjoy the moments she spent with them in spin off games :)
I remember reading the shit out of the storybook when I was little (I was like, 6 when I played this game). I loved the colors, the pictures, and the music so much. But I never, EVER got the death metaphor until now. So now im here, crying in my damn room. I knew the girl was Rosalina, I knew she missed her mother so much, and I knew she became a mother figure for the Lumas, but I never knew her mom died and that caused her to be the mother figure she is. That shit sad. Hit me so hard in the feels.
@@CrystalKingdomGeneral4942 I mean, it's one thing to give a character a backstory, it's a whole nother thing to have it be SO SAD 😭!!! You usually only see this emotional storytelling from Mario in the RPGs (ESPECIALLY Super Paper Mario). But Super Mario Galaxy isn't a spinoff, this is in the core Super Mario platforming series. To have such a heavy topic as the death of a parent in the same series as Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, etc., is almost mind-bending. Super Mario Sunshine gives us that fake-out death with FLUDD, but that game's acting is so goofy it's hard to take seriously as an adult, and he's fine afterwards, so whatever. New Super Mario Bros. has Bowser reduced to a skeleton, but it's more disturbing than emotional, and he's revived at the end anyways, so whatever. Rosalina left her family behind, saw her mother buried under a tree, and is NEVER EVER going to see them again. Even if you believe in the afterlife, Rosalina's basically a space goddess by now, caretaker of the Lumas. She never got to say goodbye to her mother and never ever will.
"But I know she's not there! I knew all along that she wasn't out there in the sky! Because... because... she's sleeping under the tree on the hill!" That part broke me

But seriously, facts, man.
Poor Rosalina. She’s had a rough childhood. At least she found her purpose and helped care for the Lumas . She’s such a good parent.
Yep, she sure is. She eventually got a chance to be playable.
Also, I wanna hug Rosalina if I were able to.
Someone tell me WHY Miyamoto was against this?
It's things like this that make the Galaxy games so unique.
This story literally makes me tear up. In a MARIO game, no less.
This is why I want Galaxy 3, if it is happening, to have a deep story.
Same man. But I doubt Miyamoto is going to put a story to Galaxy 3 since he didn't even want this masterpiece.
Gear Wax I completely agree.
the same happened with paper mario a bit

4. She has a very calm personality
5. She has all sorts of powers.
I love her more than any other female mario character.
She gives a great side story to a game with an already complete plot (Mario, Bowser, Peach) and represents motherly figures very well😭❤
Rosalina is my favorite female Mario character too, as much as I love Princess Peach, who takes the silver medal for best female Mario character. All three princesses are some of the best characters in the series; I don't care about anyone's nitpicks. not only the tree scene, but the scene of the first luma transforming into a comet makes me cry as well. that first luma was crying and felt all alone at the beginning, and through rosalina he finally felt ready to go after his destiny, accepting that he can’t be a luma by rosalina's side anymore so that he can make her happy again. this story is just so deep on many levels, but the theme of motherhood and life is just so beautifully executed.
This is the best story Nintendo ever came up with! I cry every time! I don't like it when daisy-lovers hate Rosalina because she appears in too many games... How would they feel if they lost their mother? 😕
Rosalinda's a princess? She the Luna mom.
+Finn MacDonald She is also considered a "space princess"
+Finn MacDonald She is also supposed to be related to Princess Peach!
Yup!
So sad!

Random thought: Considering that Rosalina has a brother, what if it's Prince Haru (from the 1986 Mario Anime Movie)?
This story... is so touching.I wonder if Nintendo would make a movie based on the story.
I can see this as a short. like the Kid Icarus, Pikmin and Star Fox ones. But Miyamoto wouldn't allow it. since he doesn't like having stories in Mario games for some jacked up reason.
Jeremy Knight miyamoto needs to retire. He limits the potential of games
+Jeremy Knight He likes stories in games, but they are not the focus. Gameplay first, story 2nd
Nintendo Wii U I can understand that. but he really didn't need to be so salty about it.
No, no. I think He has the right idea. The games are meant to be an escape to relax. The one story with Rosalina was very nice, but I think if they did it much more it would not only lose it's charm, but also take away a bit of the fun simple nature of Mario games.

I was at costco with my mom and i saw the game, amd these were my words, "mommy its mario, cam we get it?" Me and brither caught the bunnies and were so excited. I'm NOT CRYING I'M NOT...
CrystaltheCool
And that’s why Game Theory is wrong. Too dark for Nintendo. They even said that Peach and Rosa aren’t related.
Quite...
That game Theory vid was trash
Never take the Mario lore seriously, let alone from Mat Pat
When I eventually have kids and read them a bedtime story, this is what I will read them.
You'll walk into their room only to see their beds wet. You'll probably think they pissed their pants while sleeping but in reality it was actually the story you read for them last night
@@FyFanNollan id do this r the go the f to sleep book
When... WHEN (mind you) I have kids probably when I'm in my late 20s, this is a bedtime story I could read to them too!
This story. I swear to god, I just could not stop crying when she started crying out for her mom.
Now it's worse because it's making me think of mine now! DX
Same thing, but for Grandma...
Cannot believe miyamoto was against this.
I’m so sorry for your loss...
Same
This is the most heart felt thing I've ever read. Nintendo did a great job on this game! The music and everything totally puts the story INFRONT of the game itself. I know It's normal for 12 year old girls to cry, but this made me teary! Everytime I hear this song i have a spark in my heart as well. 👍wish they made more games like this.
Trust me, I'm a 21 year old guy, and I cried my eyes out over this.
It's so sad, and so adorable at the same time.
15 year old guy here too. Just cried as well, having never played the game myself. I had no idea that Nintendo had it in them...
Galileo Gaming I hear you bro (*sniffs*)same for me(〒︿〒)
+Galileo Gaming I'm going to cry
I can relate to u! I am a 10 year old boy but I have feelings. i love beautiful music will give us such as the water thingy in super mario for the n64
Rosalina telling her tragic backstory
Mario: Im just a plumber
That's sad and all lady, but where's that clogged sink you called about
Mario: I'm just a plumber trying to save home. I'm immune to human emotions.
Me: Says you.
Luigi: That Mama Luigi to you Mario!
Galaxy’s ending: Am I a joke to you
Dammit Nintendo...making me cry with these sad and touching stories
don't you dare underestimate reggie and. LIE THE FUCK DOWN.. and sleep
I'm not crying, I have star bits in my eyes...
you are crying :)
@@tartartagliaa no shit
I miss this, Rosalina used to be a goddess. Blessed with the powers of the stars but also blessed with the curse of watching the cycle of not only galaxies grow old and falter but watch as Luma’s leave her side to follow their destiny of being a star. She makes various stories through a lifetime and Mario’s is just a story to her, Mario and his friends will die of old age and Rosalina will just have to watch and live on as the Galaxy intends
But in present day, They converted Rosalina into just another Princess.. that hovers
like you said, Mario and friends are probably gonna die before her and just be a story, maybe she’s just spending time with them before she outlived them and can enjoy the moments she spent with them in spin off games :)
Seriously, they downgraded the princess who only comes over once every HUNDRED YEARS :/
As far as I know none of this was retconned, she’s just chilling with her friends
Yeah, I wish she were sort of like how she was 16 years ago.
Or get this..
She nerfed herself on purpose to "fit in" with the mortals
I remember reading the shit out of the storybook when I was little (I was like, 6 when I played this game). I loved the colors, the pictures, and the music so much. But I never, EVER got the death metaphor until now. So now im here, crying in my damn room. I knew the girl was Rosalina, I knew she missed her mother so much, and I knew she became a mother figure for the Lumas, but I never knew her mom died and that caused her to be the mother figure she is. That shit sad. Hit me so hard in the feels.
I remember playing this game, and that chapter "The Telescope" made me cry, it is such a sad and good story!
Doctor: Mario universe character-building isn't real, it can't give you the feels
Mario universe character-building:
Well, most Mario characters are not given much of a backstory. Rosalina is one of the few (that I know) exceptions.
She never got to say goodbye to her mother and
never
ever
will.
Until the Mario movie came out
This is the first time I have properly cried from a video game. Kudos Nintendo ;(
"But I know she's not there! I knew all along that she wasn't out there in the sky! Because... because... she's sleeping under the tree on the hill!"
That part broke me
It does me
I remember getting invested in this story and the "She's sleeping under that tree" part made my heart stop for a second
I enjoy reading the storybook, but that quote there? That's what makes my heart sink, no matter how many times I read it.
Damn who put feels in my Mario
Satan...
TheDiego908 no.... Jesus did
I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING
YOUR RIGHT I'M CRYING
Wa. Wa. Wa.
Josie Ala no im not
WE ARE ALL CRYING! AAAAH!
why arent i crying ?
I feel so sorry for Rosalina. Even though she lost her mom, she has star children comforting her whenever she feels sad or alone.
Thats what i love about it its a good lesson your parents arent gonna last forever hell my parents are old and i personslly dont think there gonna last much longer but i always have my freinds and family wheather that be my parents or not im holding back tears writing this
Yeah, this story about parenthood is written very well in presentation and execution. Mario Galaxy is my favorite game of all time, and it stands out from the rest. One reason is this storybook; I always cry reading it.
@@jacobvanantwerp2001 me 2 its just so beautiful and like its true i was terrified what would happen when my parents die but after reading this while playing the game i just stopped and wondered what would happen i was no longer scared just thinking who else would love me and care for me? And now literally 12 years later i found out ill have many other family members who will love me im like crying in my head so hard right now
I'm literally balling right now. I don't get it. How can this make me so much more emotional than it did 10 years ago. :'(
i want to give rosie a hug
