everything about mario galaxy is special. the story, the lore behind rosalina, the levels, even the characters/enemies. I've only played it for a few days, and it was the best mario game i've ever played so far
When I was a kid,I couldnt read in english (not native language) so when I got to this part I thought "Ohh some cool pictures! neato" And didnt gave much thought,the same happened when I played the 3 firsts paper mario games at the time... When I got older,2 years or so and I began to understand english,I figured I should replay some wii games... This...THIS right here hit me like a truck,together with the story of super paper mario,it made me appreciate on how good nintendo is at storytelling
I'd like to take this opportunity to compliment your voice acting. You can do so many different voices. From a brilliant Rosalina voice, to an amazing Luigi, or Bowser. And so many more. You seem to have a unique voice for almost every character in whatever game you're Lets Playing. It's impressive, and it really adds to your already awesome content.

And here is the centerpiece of what I say is the best the story of any Mario game has gotten. It's hardly intrusive, but it just adds so much personality to the game that no other Mario has ever gotten down quite as well imo.
This is one of the only moments in a video game that makes me cry, and hearing you read it reminds me of what I thought it sounded like reading it for the first time.
I'm wondering. Did she left her brother and father to search for Lumas mother. Or were they already dead. Cause its hard to believe that she would just leave her remaining family.
@@DummyDrawsStuff it explained in chapter 6 or 7 that her mom was "Sleeping under the tree on the hill" meaning she unfortunately passed away. as for her brother and father, her brother couldn't be dead, because he was shown as a child when Rosalina was reminiscing, and her father is described with most of Mario or Luigi's features, and since Mario/Luigi aren't dead, I think it's safe to say she abandoned her family to search for Luma's mother.

Rosalina's story is so sad, but there's others who have sad stories too. Including Peach. We don't know who her parents are or were, and we don't know where she came from either.
This is probably a good spot to comment that your voice acting is so incredible, and your voice for Rosalina so well done, that it actually took me a while (while watching your LP) to realize that you were the one reading the book and that it wasn't ACTUALLY dubbed that way IN game. You, Masae, are amazing.
Rosalina is my all time favorite Mario character in the Super Smash brawl series and seeing her beautiful but also very sad 😞 backstory makes me love and admire her even more and her story reminds me of when I lost my nana in 2018 she was my second mom and I miss her every single day but I know she is looking down on me from the stars thank you for sharing this very touching video 👍❤️
Fun fact, the “Rosalina Story” was written in a single night by Yoshiaki Koizumi. He said "for a long time, it really felt like telling a story in a Mario game was something that wasn't allowed". Honestly from a storytelling perspective Rosalina has a great character arc :)
