It's a slow and long night, you cannot sleep, you hear this tune, and look up at the wall, it immediately opens up and shows you the stars, your then drifted up to the moon, you fall asleep on a soft cloud from earth, and in the morning your drifted back to your bed.
This made me think of my pet guinea pig that died when I was 6.*backstory alert!* It all started on a hot day, my guinea pigs were outside in their cage. Their names were coco, and Robin. The guinea pigs had ran out of water, and someone might have took off the pieces of wood that were on the top of their cage that gave them shade. My bigger brothers friend was staying for a sleepover. They forgot about the guinea pigs cause they were playing video games. Its been awhile, and my brother finally checked out side if the guinea pigs ran out of water. Of course they did, but something shocked him. They were both not moving at all. My brothers friend came to get coco, while my bro held Robin. The rushed to the bathroom, and put cold water on each of the guinea pigs. Thankfully, Robin woke up,.....but coco didn't. They kept doing it, but nothing happened. They told me what happened, and I cried for so long. I got to hold coco before he was got buried. We planted flowers around him and my big bro wrote on a pebble, "rest in peace little dude, you will always be in our hearts forever ❤." Till this day, Robin still roams around our back yard with his new friend, choco.
Aaah! You made me remember mines🥲. I had a lot of guinea pigs too and now i have only one, and i love her with my heart. I know how sad is to lose our lil fur balls and your story with this song made me cry rivers. Guinea pigs are a true blessing❤
I couldn't find that melody that have been playing in my head occasionally for a month or more, and me missclicking on a video that I didn't see what the thumbnail and title was, found the music that has been stuck in my head?!
A cold winters waltz Looking up at the sky, I begin to see the first snowfall. the stars waltz among the tiny snowflakes. as the whole world turns white. I stare in awe as the flakes dance, twirling in the brisk wind in the dead of night. their skirts flowing elegantly like a ballet in nature. My eyes get heavier as each one falls on my coat. fading away into small droplets as the land. as if concluding the waltz they did with the stars. the stars shimmer like stage lights, each of them waving to me and the dancers. their bright lights glitter against the endless storm. like a warmth in the dead of night.
Definitely a xylophone or another metallic percussion instrument, not so much a music box. Can hear the impacts and the higher pitched ones clip. Still sounds nice, though.
What you’re hearing is a glockenspiel! I use a blend of a few different instruments for the “music box” sound. You’re the first person in two years to speculate about it :)
@@erinmusicbox As my profile suggests, I'm a bit of a musician myself. Have you thought of remaking this using newer tools that actually have decent music box synthesis in them?
@@rho117-sigma83studios I haven't changed my methods in two years or so. I would graciously welcome your feedback! Is there a DAW/library of MIDI instruments that you particularly like? I currently use Logic Pro X. Its music box sound, I've found, has very noisy impact noises above C6.
As always, drop your song requests here!
Can you Do yoru ni kaku Please🥺

Now I have starbits in my eyes... 🥺
This sounds so nostalgic! Mostly because I listened to this video every night for about 7 months when I went to sleep. That was in 2022.
An actual music box with this song would be so beautiful.

YES! I'm so happy you decided to do the Storybook theme. And a whole hour? You spoil us. Thank you so much!
A cold winters waltz

like a warmth in the dead of night.
This is beautiful…

Hi Erin, love your music! also I'm in your house :^)
Wow Erin, this is such a good video. It reminds me a lot of my favorite song: the Rosa song? Have you heard of it? It’s really good.
It's like being in an open cold starry night but at the same time warm and fuzzy in a dream 🤤
Fun fact: Rosalina is my middle name!
( well kinda- it's spelled, Rosalinda )
