    Hey Ryan I love what you do and I think that attachment will be really handy on some occasions but if you are going to be mowing a large area more than once a year you should really look into a 12 or 15 foot brush cutter I can’t remember how much horsepower your tractor is but it would be a lot more efficient depending on the size of land but I use a 15ft John Deere cx15 brush cutter to do roughly around 600 acres of pasture each year and I think it would work great for the work you would be doing and keep the flail for banks and mulching up tree limbs and other miscellaneous jobs. Thanks and keep up the great content.

    Ryno
    it's always a good idea to check your hydraulic fluid level after hooking up a new implement, that was dry. You're lowering your hydraulic fluid level to fill the lines and other parts of the implement.

    Glad you’re back and happy you got a flail mower. I know you mentioned float. But look into using the float more. I ran flail mowers for years at an airport and I remember having an actual float spot in the lever(hydraulic) and the mowers would literally roll on the rollers and float over mounds of dirt or debris.

    I'd like to formally welcome you to the San Diego County Kioti tactor chinese flail mower ranch owner club. I run my back roller on the mower near max height, saves on hitting too many rocks. Also, yah need to keep an eye on the runners. Noticed mine are starting to wear thru in a couple spots after a few years of light use. Latest item I'm looking at is to add an in-line hydraulic flow value so that I can better control the mower in/out and tilt.

    There are/were actually two “Titan” companies that make attachments. They had nothing to do with eachother. The original Titan Implements actually changed their name to IronCraft because of the confusion and people mistakenly thinking they made the same crappy products.

    My Grandpa who was a mining and farming equipment mechanic back in his day would be so proud of the solution to your connectivity issue. I called him the king of the bubblegum mechanics. He gave me a 1970 Opal Kadet wagon that he had driven but no longer needed. Who knew that back then exhaust manifolds could come equipped with a zirc fitting. 🤣🤣That was his way of repairing a small crack, also there was some sort of hose, maybe an air line that was capped off with a screw shoved up in it. I can't complain though as the car ran fine otherwise. Sadly though the heater did not work, which made for a cold drive home from Marysville to Pacifica in December. 🥶🥶

    You should check your user manual most tractors you can adjust the hydraulic flow for your remotes to slow down the speed of the hydraulic flow. That would solve your problem with the sketchy boom out. There might even be a setting to turn off the detent since those are usually just used for hydraulic motors.

    Heck yea, We just bought a Lowe XR35 trencher for our Bobcat T750 on our ranch. Had to do some serious trenching to get power to our new metal fab shop we built ourselves. We have lots of limestone and some conglomerate to dig through, and the cheap $5k trencher we have was junk, but the new one cost over $10k but actually does the job. Proof you get what you pay for. Can't wait to see you build a shop some day.

    Land pride makes amazing attachments. I have a 60 inch finishing mower for my Kubota and it’s amazing. The only problem I’ve had is losing trail wheels because of the pins but I just duct tape around the pins and haven’t lost a wheel in a while. The lock pins will still flip up so they don’t work well.

    A few tips on hooking and unhooking 3 point implements from a farmer up in the central valley. Most implements we have are 3 point. Always hook up the lift arms first. You have hyd cylinders on each arm so you can move each one just right to line up to the pin holes. The bushings that you drilled the holes in are meant to be removable for different size pins cat 1 for smaller and cat 2 for bigger with no bushings. Next do the pto and then do the top link. Your hyd cylinder makes it easy. To unhook the implement just do it in reverse. Set the implement down all the wayand use the top cylinder to make the top link pin loose and you can pull it right out. Do the same for the lift arms. Use the cylinders to make the pins loose so you can pull them out. None of my tractors have cylinders like yours so I am jealous😂

    That old utility anchor that you found with your mower, since they replaced the pole, they won’t be using that anymore and you can dig down and cut it off with a sawzall. That’s what we do when we replace poles and install a new anchor. That way no one hits them in tall grass like you just did.

  • @northernrippers9435
    @northernrippers9435 13 дней назад

    Its hard to get rid of the detent due to it being in the valve itself u would need to change the valve and to ad a third remote its fairly simple just contact ur dealer for the kit i have installed a bunch of remote kits on 7320 and there nice to do it wouldent be a detent. The detent is a factory remote for the backhoe almost all the kioti's have a detent factory just for backhoes

  • @Shouk02
    @Shouk02 12 дней назад

    I'm sure you thought of it after you kit that anchor, but I would buy spare belts and blades. You don't want to be in the middle of mowing break it and have to wait days or weeks for new ones to show up, especially during fire season.

    Most larger Kioti's have lift arms that extend and retract to hook up, then lock back in place. Never really had alot of trouble with hooking anything up, especially with the handle in the rear to operate the lift. Ideally it would be better suited for the front....
