I prefer the construction and equipment videos more than the trucks. Any content is good 👍🏼
@@kingbones96 I mean, you cared enough to comment, Mr. Troll.
@thebl4ckd0g wow, this is a lame comment. Get off ur phone before ur mom gets mad at u
@@thebl4ckd0g Fr lol, just stating how it didn’t really matter what he uploaded.
@@kingbones96about you
@jrm88382 umm ur slow huh
That’s why you call it “Work for It “ work fascinates me I can sit and watch it for hours
Awesome job, Ryan!!
Love the videos brother! Thanks for taking us all on the ride with ya haha. That being said if you personally need some time to yourself more power to ya haha!
Thanks RYNO
Thanks Ryno always giving great information and confidence to do it myself.
dig these vids! Thanx 🤙
Always looking forward to the videos, 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great to have you back Ryan.
Never be afraid to have some time off
This video was awesome, keep it up! Love the different content.
Love the videos of the day in the life of ryan’s and his team
Let’s go!! Dinner and DMAXRYNO video!
just made my food and saw he uploaded lol.
Can you make more of your work videos?! Love the different projects you do
enjoy video. it's always interesting to get a idea of how thing work.. good job
Ryno, I don’t know how you do it every week. But I’m home from work and chilling on my couch with a beer, and your episode works. I never thought I’d be so interested in irrigation systems… but hey…. As usual, I chuckled several times and I’ll do it again. Thanks for the entertainment 👍
Hat's off to you irrigation work is very time consuming I run a lawn business in Orlando and I pretty much sub all my irrigation work out unless it's basically changing a head out or I damage myself great video keep it up Ryan.
I know you preference the video along the lines of you didn’t know about “videoing a smaller project”. I enjoy watching any projects that you do. Neat to see all the skills you have from years of different types of experience!
Nice work hunting down and correcting the sprinkler problems.👍
I've had to do that before on a much smaller scale and it's not always easy, is it ?
Hell yeah i always learn something with your content 😎
I'm an irrigation specialist on Maui and I love it.
I just bought a home with a few acres and I am also trouble shooting my irrigation system! 10 stations, 50 heads fun times! This was helpful
As a lawn guy. This was perfect!
as a plumber it is always nice seeing your do something plumbing related. Cool music on the electronic monitor thingy too
😎🤙
Sprinklers werr my weekend project.
I like these type of videos!
Look into the Hunter valves and controllers.
You can get a WiFi unit and monitor the water for them. Also it monitors the local weather and will pause watering or increase when needed.
Great video.
i got the ribbon cable.. lots of windows 95-xp pro inner computer cables lol
Wow ur fkin cool dude
@@kingbones96 loser
I think a ribbon cable is pretty much standard just need to know how many wires you are needing then determine one of 3 common connectors out there
Good to go!
Keep up these blue collar content, this next gens gunna need it.
Great video
That whole system needs to be rebuilt completely. But I get it. It’s about what the customer wants to spend.
sometimes its not worth the cost to rebuild everything from scratch to make it perfect. get it running even if its sort of ugly is good enough sometimes when people are on a budget. a lot of contractors dont seem to be able to offer that kind of service. good on ryan for charging this time and materials and doing the job quickly rather than wasting time. lots of time and materials contractors just run the clock and keep asking for more and more time
The optimum number of trips to the hardware store for any project, is 2.
1 for all the stuff you need, and the second for the stuff that turned up.
Like a fine tune!
Definitely enjoy this kind of content. Feel like im a pro with water lines lol
Hey Ryan I’ve been doing irrigation my whole life, learn everything from pops. We are located in Illinois but I would gladly help if you need advice. I can pass on some of my knowledge same as you do to us with your awesome videos keep up the good work 💯🔥
nice to see Variety . Maybe on the test side you could use a SMOKE test , cant see water under a brush pile but maybe smoke will work ( synthetic smoke of course )
Like whatever content you bring us along on. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That wire is called heat trace used for winter so water don’t freeze up when waters not flowing through
Great vid
Great video Ryan
Thanks Drew!
Ribbon cable and connectors are standard and inexpensive parts you can custom DIY assemble with a common vise.
I know it’s a mess of a system but you’re doing things backwards. Fix the valves first then figure out the leaks next, section by section. You need a valve finder/toner to figure out what wire goes to which valve.
Good luck 👍🏼
Interesting video.
Any content is good 👍
Watching from Austin tx🫡
Nice. I like it
Sprinkler season is amongst us!!
Nothing worse than having to go in and fix somebody else’s Mickey Mouse work.
The aggravation is real…
It was interesting, seeing what your capabilities are
Ryan, this is probably too late but that is a standard computer ribbon cable most likely. It looks to be from an old ATA hard cable. Go to a mom and pop computer shop with that cable and pick a new one up.
why not use a Rachio for the sprinkler controller? you can program them on the web app, a phone is only needed for the initial setup.
Pain in the ass for the repair guy that wants to do work on your system not having a display screen on the controller.
Ryan I’m a bmet in oc and often times I’m responsible for parting out instruments. Could you tell me how many pins that ribbon cable has? I could probably find one for you. Or at least look
Flip that roll off Teflon around and pull from the bottom of the roll. Then spin the roll around the threads.
That system needs a drawing for all the zones. I can't believe the original contractor didn't provide that.
having installed systems for a number of years... whoever installed that nonsense, had no idea what they were doing. so much to say about it my brain is overloaded😂
Good Evening Ryan, showing an episode like this illustrates how you sometimes have to step outside your comfort zone and Mine other Vain’s of Revenue. Now all you need is some Dowsing Rods and Spider-Man Sense to figure out what’s below the surface. At least you didn’t come across the water’s version of the Big Bang Theory. 😊👍👍👍
I believe sprinklers are about flow rate and not pressure. Obviously you need pressure but 50psi at 1/2 inch provides a different flow rate then 3/4 or 1 inch at 50psi
Flow rate, gpm, static pressure, residual pressure, and meter size all are considered in the math for a proper zone. For someone new to irrigation, psi is one of the easier ways for someone to start learning. Always try and keep your residual pressure above 35 psi is a rule I go by. To little, and the sprinkler wont pop up hard enough to make a good seal.
@@1Builtcummins ok a combination of all. I do plumbing. I’ve done anything irrigation just make the stub out lol
Any content is good
You wait till you start putting in rainbird ivm that gets expensive quick
Hello sir!
I gotta know.... Which irrigation supply house did you use ?
Hopefully Ewing!!
How do you have enough with groundwater when it never rains out there?
20:54 you could have used the drone to figure out what zone is working while your programming.
Put air in pipes to check like a winter blowout
What a mess ! They definitely called the right contractor 👍
Hey Ryan, I post about how your projects are always inspiring, thanks for posting man, this is good stuff... What would be cool (not necessary) is to see the revenue of these projects, and what where the expenses. The business side of these little projects are super interesting. Maybe just generalizations would be cool too. If this would expose you in any way to your competition or whatever, don't do this, just more out of curiosity.
Better late then never🤷🏾♂️
Let's goo
4:50 wow, this comment took me off guard completly. Imagine living in a place where your kids could come in contact with creature that can end them, literary in a garden. I would be so on edge all the time just from possibility (but I guess I would go numb after few months:). Still, comming from European with no dangerous wildlife, this is so strange to me :) poisonous snakes, spiders - wow.
I like these videos
I didn’t know if I was hearing the sprinklers or snakes half the time 🤣
Looks like a computer cable that u can use for it it has to be an older computer tower
Irrigation sucks. I work for a botanical garden and I feel like we spend more time on that than maintaining the grounds.
That sounds like a dream job, I'll trade ya.
Hunter GPG!
I just bought one for $20 of Hard Mike's for my wife and she does about 10 zones 😂😅
🤣🤣🤣
Like the different videos brother
I miss the on the job videos
T&M and no snake bites... winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Ryno been working with a lot of Mexicans cause he whistles to point stuff out on video hahahaha😂
Also as an apprentice electrician right now I know for a fact that as absolute hack work for the water station control module
You don’t use teflon on the heads or nipples only in the valves normally the white cable is the common you can really use any color 😂
You don’t Teflon sprinkler heads it says it on the bottom of most
Come fix mine next lol
On my way.
Not supposed to mix rotor and fans😮
👍👍
Whats the point of irrigating a bunch of weeds or where no one goes ?
There is a whole back story to that property when it was built
Do tell.
@@DMAXRYNO one of these days I’ll run into you again on a job and I’ll tell you don’t need to air their dirt on here
I would be fired if my jobs looked like those boxes
i think whoever installed this up sold them and got a nice payday.
👍🏼👍🏼
Are you kidding me, $500 bucks, wow just bought two for $350 installed. Each can control up to 6 zones.
How do you make money
Feet pics
U know sht serious when u ain't got ur hay dude s on 🤣😂🤣 Honestly don't really care what u upload at this point & I'm sure we're all gonna watch whatever u got going on cuz it always something interesting but hell even if u don't have anything happen u can still jus shot the sht say hay & let us know ur ok

I hate chasing sprinkler wiring!! It's like playing roulette, which one, which one, which one is the right one?? Not that one 🤬
Sprinklers are the worst
Oh he better be ready to spend some money! That could be weeks!
It’s crazy how much he complains over prices of things. It’s understandable how things are getting expensive, but don’t you raise your prices as well?

What a mess..
