- Peas are going in smoothly! Takes a few acres to work out all the bugs in the equipment. Just can't predict when a tire will fail.

Don't worry, Leg Arms fired his barber. 😅
Just like a I Indy 500 tire change
2024 equipment tour??
Thank God for hard working farmers like you guy's = 🌬🌠✝👍👍👍
Old F-4 II Shoe 🇺🇸
Wrong
Six Hundred Horsepower. Huge fields. Giant equipment. Mountains in the background. But I can’t seem to quit focusing on those silly pony tails in Scott’s beard 😜😜😜
What kind of bet did leg arms lose. Pure entertainment 👍
We farmed 50 years ago in SK. We had tandem discers before moving to airseeders. The front furrow wheel weldment on IH product failed. I was about 10. We jacked up the frame and took the parts in and had a welder weld a plate on. I told dad, I don’t think that plate is on right. Needs to be turned 90. Dad said, no way a professional welder would put it on wrong. Well, we got it to the field and sure enough it was wrong. Took it back in and they air arced the new plate off and weld another on right.
Years later I worked as an engineer for FC and took the first 5700 air drill to Montana. Those were some good times. Lots of work but was motivated by the comments of the first farmers and the job it was doing. Favorite part of the job. Now 38 years later I still remember what my father taught me about engineering. My father is gone and the farm too but the memories remain. Good luck and be safe seeding guys. Take care and time. Take breaks and enjoy these times. They soon pass.
dude trim that !!!😂
Scott, I hate to be the one to say this, but that facial hair today, ummmm, it is much less than flattering! I think you are a very hansom young man but wow.....
Facial pigtails. Now I’ve seen it all. PLEASE SHAVE!!!!!
Looking stupid
When you guys all work together, you sure do get a lot done. When we lost dad a few years ago, getting things done took so much more effort. Hopefully your kids will be big enough soon to start helping and learning. Farm work teaches you infinitely more than the schools these days.
I keep waiting for Legarms to lead a horseback, sword wielding, charge into the confederate battle lines with that beard :)
😂 Yeah what is going on here!?
@@WelkerFarms I honestly thought he'd lost a bet and had to do the first day of harvest, on video, like that. I was waiting for a hilarious story.....but sadly no....heart felt condolences to his wife, and the bathroom mirror. Haha Cheers boys, hope you guys get lots of precip for those crops!!
Trying to get Harry's razors to be on here!
I was thinking quint scratching his nails down a chalkboard lol.
Nest thing he'll tie his beard up in pigtai... wait a minute!
We are starting to plant cotton here in Texas. We just have a 30' planter.. Should be finished corn by June 20th. Our JD 8335R plants 22 acres per hr burning 4 gal diesel/hr....it is no Big Bud! Cotton seed cost $300 to 500 per 50# bag.
The last couple years have been rough on you guys so hopefully this year you’ll get the rain right when you need it! Glad you are getting off to a reasonably good start!
does the electronics in the tractor's record what product is being seeded and then download it to a computer in the office? Pretty complicated with what seed is where on the farm acreage to keep track of. Great video, it is going to be a bumper crop finally.
Wished I could go back in time. Have my grandfather talk about him farming back in the early 1900's again. Thank you for the video, looked like the pea's where going in pretty fast. Praying for timely rain and good growing weather.
God Bless The Welker Farms Family. I think its great that all of you can keep the viewers attention when you all are working on anything. Great job and God Bless!!!!
At some point could you do in-depth tour on the Big Buds? Like tour the cabs and talk about the different monitors and controls. Would also like to know the history of your Buds like what repairs and modifications have you done on them like engine swaps, old center shifter and dash and the new ones in the series 1. I know you are busy but would love to see something like that IF you have time. Keep the wheels turning on those white beasts and hopefully you have a good crop this year!
I love watching your videos and all the big equipment you all have. I'm from West Virginia and I would love to come work for you guys. God bless you guys and keep the video's going
Thanks for another great video you all.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Sorry about the breakdown but you were not down too long. Glad you had a tire and rim that would work. It fit well enough so you could get going again. I guess pick up a tire later. Got the seeder going again in the best. Get those seeds in the ground.
Got both of the big buds going pulling the seeders getting wheat seed in the ground-yeah!!!!!!!
Colby is busy riding along with Bob and getting a gopher here and there. Other wise like Bob said they are doing it done and then on to the winter seed I believe he said.
Busy busy time!!!!’
Hopefully rain will come shortly after getting the seed in the ground. Prayers coming your way Oñ moisture.
Hey Scott, think a lot of us feel the beard needs to go or be trimmed up. Not looking good right now my dear friend.
Thanks for everything Welkers. My prayers to you for rain. May god give you a good crop this year!!!!!’
My blessings. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I blew a tire just like that this year, we set the depth on the drill deeper and shoved the shanks into the ground and the drill lifted the tires and rims right up off of the ground and we didn’t have to use a jack to lift up the wheels. Works slick!!! Good luck seeding!!
I really like your dog. We give our Australian shepherds NexGard, every month, to combat ticks...which are terrible here in Northern California. They just don't get em with NexGard.
Before we had NexGard we used Frontline, which never worked very well. Ticks are a curse. Take care of Cobey, he's a real treasure.
It was wonderful to see your soil damp! Let’s hope it stays that way.
Hey leg Arms I love your beard😂. You can almost not take you serious when you're talking LOL😊
May God bless the Welker family and a good harvest. I guess in your area, the water table is just to far below grade to be an economical source of irrigation?
There is no ground water. Sea bed clay below the soil is impermeable.
Love watching those big seeders working in the field. 👍👍👍
I love watching your channel it is heartwarming to watch your farm and how yall have grown. Yall are so humble. Great things are coming for all of you.
Excellent video! So happy you got some rain.
Nice soil! Gotta be perfect sometimes. Realy nice! btw That was a pretty fast pit-stop. Well done. (on your knees) 😀
Prayers for a safe and prosperous year. Thanks for being farmers.
Scott either can make hard rock music or ride full send saber swinging into battle. Anyhow, the Legarms Mutton Chops shirt needs to happen! 😁🤟
So great to see another welker farm video can't wait for the next one God bless you and your families
My cousins own a farm, and I remember riding in their John Deere 8520T while they seeded! So much fun!
I learned that green beans fix nitrogen to the soil too. I planted about 30 in succession last year. I feed them to my dogs(choc labs) on their supper bowl bc they’re on a diet. I can plant my second planting right into the first crop bc of that. I need to use every inch of grow space I can bc I don’t have much.
Y’all seemed stressed to the max ! Best of luck gentlemen from south east Virginia! ist mind blowing seeing y’all’s equipment and fields
Something I never thought I would hear a Welker say; “it’s a little wet for seeding.” 😂
Bravecto works wonders for dogs. Ask your vet as most places it is unavailable over the counter.
10:53 I thought you were gonna say, "Let's have a field day." 😉
Thank you for that great video !! Family that works together is a great blessing!!
I want to know what the bet was that Legarms lost to be sporting that Interesting Beard or did he fall a sleep on the couch at a (friends) house
Looks like he’s preparing for a 70’s movie that would be VERY out of character for the Welker family.
Don’t let anything happen to Coby, he’s the ⭐️ 🙏👍🇺🇸
I am so happy to see farmers in the field unfortunately my fields are flooded and I have to replant everything
The new Beard cut , makes you look so different. Love your channel . Keep up the good work.
When other yt farmers run around with their small seed tender trailers, the Welkers using a 10 wheeler dump truck😎🤘
Wait till you see how Mike Mitchell does it with 6 Airseeders twice the size of these... Simply mind blowing the scale in western Canada.
I have noticed you guys wearing the SHOKZ bone conduction head phones in a few videos now. How do you like them? I'm a truck driver and those are my go to!!
Surprised you guys don't have a spout extension on that truck so your not on top of the augar of the seed cart but love thr videos
Two antennas. Great coverage
My grandfather was a farmer his entire life. I remember the stories he used to tell…During the winter, they didn’t have a lot to do on the farm, so he ate, drank beer, and watched football. He said (personally, I never saw it) he put on 40 pounds. But by the time the crops were planted and the first harvest of alpha was in, he had lost that 40 and then some. Farmers work from sunup to sundown. Enjoy your time with your family when you can.
Watch out for the fleas Bob,itchy little devils! Some nifty work around the pole though.
Almost pulling off the hulk hogan mustache. Have the same size arms !! Lol just kidding love the content keep up the great work guys !!! Who's cleaning the shop?
At 7:05 you can see the semi thats getting the new kitty power plant after seeding is completed.
We love to see cobie with you too Bob. Hunting story was funny. He is living his best life.
It was good to see you Bob.
Take care and stay safe !!!
Would just like to know how much is the time delay between taping to the time it is released to RUclips thanks.
Up to two weeks
Building your home has been very time intensive. I hope you can find time to enjoy your family.
LegArms apparently has joined a Civil War reenactment group judging by that beard.
I was doing my best not to mention that.
No - he is trying to look like a Big Bud from the front.
haha.
😮
Weird beard
The pit crew did a great job getting leg arms back up and running.
The girls got ahold of daddys beard this morning!! I love it!!
Good luck with the new seeding! Plenty of rain and good prices!
Glad to see good moisture for germination!!
Leg Arms...your wife called and wanted me to tell to cut off the pony tails.🤔🤩
Legarms rocking the lambchop pigtails!
I can see gauges and tats next for Leg Arms
Happy your making good progress with the seeding.
Kobie is great! Thank you , take care and God bless.
That beard has to go. Sorry
Yep
It has been slowly on Instagram. I think it is all gone now in real time.
Agree!!
We have a winner for the Colt Ford lookalike contest.
Harvest it.
Hello from the state of Maine how many acres of peas are you planting this year?
1900
i'm wavering between a option of finger or toenail painting session, and what's going on now, and the latter was picked, curious to see how this evolves
🔥I agree the buds are a beautiful looking tractor.. just not the same without Colby riding with ya Bob. Glad to see ya get peas 🫛 in the ground 🔥👊🔥🔨🏍⚙️🚜
We'll pray that blown tire is the biggest problem you have all planting season.
Toby is like the beagle we had growing up. He was a hunter, and if he got the scent of, or sight of a rabbit 🐇 he couldn't think of anything else. Dad and I were going down the road one day, and next thing I know, Barney jumped out of the bed of the truck and is bouncing off the bedside. He was crazy about rabbits!
You obviously have not put the mirrors up in the new house yet
Invest in a hydraulic pancake jack. Some only need four inches and they use them all the time to lift buildings!
That thing was really "tired" and couldnt be woken up. Great pit crew. Glad Colby saved the blocking.
Coby 2 Ground Squirrels 0! Pit Crew 💯👍✝✝
Great video guys. thank you
Where’s your electric leaf blower for cleaning off the top of the tank and conveyor
Gotta clip the gray weeds out sometime. Legarms the ungray.😂
Omg. The twisted beard. The most impressive comment making machine I have ever seen. You win the RUclips site Marketing event of 2024.
One thing about a farmer. He has the ability to make something work. Bailing wire, inner-tube, 15" Crescent wrench, side cutters... what ever it takes. Get that seed into the ground.
That wasn't as bad as you made it sound! But a destroyed tire is never a fun time. Glad you got going fairly fast!
Young man I get it wanting to be with family children grow up so fast I know went threw this I worked fie phone company where we had to work over time storms rain snow ice tornadoes got so tired of working but you worked or was fired I feel for you but be thankful you work for yourselves
Move your depth stop and let the drill down and it lifts your tires up.
I especially like the rubber bans. Although I think colored ones would add just a touch.
What model do you think this is? South West Oklahoma tractor I’ve been around since my boyhood. We were John Deer folks.
You guys are fun to watch! Thanks for another good one!
Could you add the stuff to the peas while you are putting it in the bins or out of the bins into the truck or would it not stick properly doing it that way. I am also a farmer and was wondering how that stuff actually works cause I don’t grow peas here in the Deep South.
Its has a 48 hr life span
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob ok thank you.
Love the braids leg arms!!
I worked for a Fertilizer/ Genocide pesticide service company We rented out buggies and We were constantly fixing flats That's besides the bulk spreader sprayer tires and the the truck tenders and tankers I was a regular at the tire shop.I kinda miss this Time of the year Some farmers had their own equipment and would work direct with them.Got a lot of coffees lunch meat and veggies .
Pray for rain. Not flooding rains. Just the right amount of rain. No hail or tornadoes. God has promised to provide. Even the rain for the farmers.

I never thought I'd see you with ponytails ever, let alone on your chin. 😂
Love this country too. Beautiful Flag, best in the world. God bless ya
Legarms is the New General in "Dances with Wolves" 2.😅
Yeah LegArms, that's a nice ladder but is it a PowerLadder! ™©
Great job seeding Bob
It is amazing how much the three of you get done in a day.
😂 that beard is from OBELIX 😆
Do you have to add def to these big buds?
don't think they do...waay before def
No
Latest news is that legarms started a Motörhead-tribute band.😊😊
Good luck this year!!!
Brother Scott I really love and appreciate you ❣️‼️ Please PLEASE please either trim the sides of the hooks hanging down in front or just start over please please please it's soooo😮 tough to see the HOLI WHAT HAPPENED beard? you have right now HOLI ⁉️❤🖖🇺🇲
Mutten chops. Hmmm. I like that better than "leg arms". Anyway, you guys are my heroes.
Bob needs to get some baking soda in his water! 😮 every one does!
Nice to see your new Homes in the background 🫶
what is device attache to ear buds
Nick you had better brush up on Nitrogen fixation. Legumes need to fix nitrogen from the air in the soil, each legume requires a dedicated rhizobium.
I want to know if you make Cobie punch a time clock to prove he earns his kibble and treats. Tell him for me he seems to be a good employee and takes care of his chores. Have a great season and may God Bless all of you.
