Having built roughly 400 homes, 58 yrs old now, in my working life, I got a real kick outta watching your crew work. Professionals with a lot of respect for each other. That's what gets the job done. Built in Alabama, Massachusetts, and Colorado.....
Its real tricky to build a house on a sandy slope. If you are unlucky the house might start to drift. They can not take any trees down, it would undermine everything.
This book is a comprehensive guide for anyone who wants to build a second unit on their property. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzaRUJNcbypw-fRBDbqqz43ULIa-1EGP- It showcases various types of houses, such as garage apartments, with photos, videos, and floor plans. The book provides the square footage and the dimensions of each house, as well as the option to order the plans or customize them according to your preferences. You can choose from a range of styles, from ultra modern to cottages and A frame lake houses. The book also offers suggestions for sheds, pool houses, and office studio buildings. This book is an ideal resource for the aspiring home designer.
This is a good book. Does provide a step by step introduction to how to build things ruclips.net/user/postUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 , also does offer some steps. Includes pictures to give you ideas for layouts and such. If you are looking for a guide, this is not exactly what you want. But if you are trying to familiarize yourself with the way that pole barn building and other out buildings, are made, then this will work just as you need it to. A few things in this book are a barn (of course), detached garage, storage building, and coops.
I can't believe I sat and watched this whole video, but you guys made it fun, interesting, and educational. So much talent and craftsmanship in one place. Love the attention to detail and that you guys think the project out so far ahead. Thanks.
I watched the whole thing because I didn't want to miss the opportunity to see such amazing construction. I still work Artisan when working wood, and so did these folks.... 10 to the nth degree tight.
I know it's a pain but I really wish they'd do a lot more of these 2hr+ vids - without doubt they're THE best thing to watch on RUclips right now !. I LOVE EM !
Perkins Brothers. I started watching you in the beginning of the RUclips days. I’ve learned so much from you building and remodeling my house. I miss the lunch videos. Hot sauce! Bring them back as you wrap up the Modern Build.
Love this video. I'm a former builder from Georgia. At 1:09 you asked why the pencils are flat. 1) They won't roll off the surface you lay them on. 2) But they can be used for fine measuring or spacing. They are 1/4" thick and 1/2" wide. 3) The lead is thick to resist breaking, and you can scrub the lead down to a sharp but wide shape for precision marking.
As a 71 year old woman I’ve never watched video like this, in its entirety before. WOW you’re all bloody amazing! Your good natures really make this a joy to watch. Thank you ❤
You most likely won’t see my comments because I am noticing this video is a year old. Anyways, I have been battling cancer so I now have time to watch videos opposed to working construction 68 hours a week. I have to say, I have a watched A LOT of videos and this by far has been the best one! Cool bunch of guys on the crew and very well done video. So thank you all, it helps me a lot to pass the time.
Their video really is great. I like the warts and all aproach. Too many videos take the bumps right out and make it look like every job goes perfect.. good luck with fighting the big C, be well soon.
I'm sure you've. Checked out their other videos Tim? I feel for you brother, that comment was in my head the entire time I watched this video...best of luck and health sir.
Hello from Buenos Aires, Argentina. My name is Gus Fisch, I'm a singer-songwriter and singer coach and I really enjoy your videos to the point of choosing them over a series or a movie, it's even become a vice. Whenever I have to take a break from my musical chores I take great pleasure in seeing the Perkins brothers and their band of good lads. I am not a builder or a carpenter but I run to see every time they upload a new video, Thanks and regards. Gus
I came for some woodworking tips but instead I received a ton of knowledge on every aspect of building a house. I didn't expect me to watch the whole thing and enjoy it so much. You guys really do it all and surely know your work. The best thing is that you're actually having a lot of fun at work and seem like a really well connected team of friends doing what you love. Thank you for this experience. It felt like being there with you.
I’m 52 years of age. Full time mom and work from home. Don’t know anything about construction. But, watching this gentleman work and build this beautiful home was the most relaxing I’ve been in a long time. I was at an awww..Thank you for sharing. Very educational and relaxing..👏🏼👏🏼🤗🤗
This is an amazing video! I can’t believe I sat and watched the whole thing, but this was so well done, so well edited, it had me locked in the whole time. I’ll say this, if I ever build another home, I WANT your company doing it. I’ve never seen one crew do everything!! From digging dirt, foundation, concrete pouring, block, rebar, framing, roofing, decking, siding, drywall, primer, painting, fireplace, tile, flooring, cabinets…. and I’m missing tons more, every member of your crew did it. This HAS to make the whole house just that much better. Here, it’s a separate company with different crew at each step of the way. Having your crew doing it all means you’re taking ownership all the way through. Seeing everyone involved in staining the doors and baseboards was next level amazing as well. Seriously, whoever the homeowner is here…. you are SO fortunate to have had this company and crew. I’ve had homes built and others renovated that don’t come anywhere close to this quality, this level of care! Whatever you paid them…. it wasn’t enough! 😂 I’m in Canada, but hell I’d move to the Smokey mountains just to be able to hire you guys to build me a home. Incredible work on the house, knocked it right out of the park! And the video of it was equally high quality. Great work man….GREAT work! 🤠👍🏼☮️ 2:32:13 I must have missed part of the video somewhere… or maybe it’s a separate video? Can you point me where I’d find the video of you guys making the appliances?? That stove just appeared here, I want to see how you built it, especially the finish you put on it! 🤣
This build video popped up when I was watching barndominiums. I watched the whole video. I love the build, but I love the way y’all make your job fun and the great relationship y’all have with each other.
I'm an old retired contractor out of Atl, now living in Middle Tn. Just found y'all and I have smiled and grinned all the way through this video. You guys are so candid, and real its funny, the amount of custom work, "care" and professionalism just warms my heart. Nice to know there is a younger generation that really takes pride in what they do. Remember gents...You're artists. Thank you so much for your hard work and pride.
Truth. I watched your vid while cleaning up the “play” room of my 3 grandsons. I flew to another state to help our daughter out while she is sick. And your words rang in my heart. Once a momma all ways a momma. Why? Because we do it out of love for our family! They mean more to us than life itself. My sweet husband is away from me for 3.5 wks and I miss him everyday, but he knows my heart was here with our daughter! So while I am here, I clean, do laundry, help with homework each night and make beds. I love serving our children. Oh yeah, our oldest daughters family is taking granddaughter #3 to Paris for her graduation present, so in 2 wks after I get back home, I leave again for a wk of watching their 3 dogs! ITS WHAT WE DO!
This is what made me fall in love with home construction, the goofy fun times you have with guys you build a brotherly relationship with doing the job you love. It’s hard ass work but man when a job is wrapped up it is possibly the most satisfying thing when you look at the finished product and can say man I did this… we did this! Absolutely amazing job y’all! Bravo 👏🤙
As a former contractor/builder I have to say I really enjoy the coraderie of the crew. I am now retired but I miss the days of cutting up and working on a project with a bunch of fellas you know and work well together with.
As one who is not a former contractor...I do, too. I think we all do...having respectful and playful interactions with people you have to spend so much time with, makes life so much better.
Came across this video today and was drawn in as well as the many other viewers. I throughly enjoyed the entire 2 1/2 hours watching every step of the way...very cool to watch the process...I am curious just how long that job was though...thank you SO much for all the work you all did on shooting the build. REALLY REALLY enjoyed it....When I was 14 yrs old my Dad built a four bdr. 2 bath, 2 story addition to our existing tiny house which was basically a weekend cabin. My brother and I were his only crew. From foundation to shingles and ALL the interior as well as plumbing and electrical, paneling, paint and wallpaper...It was an amazing experience I will never forget and I miss that environment SO much... I have not been able to enjoy that kind of work much in my adult life and that stinks...I am now 62 and believing God for my chance to at least oversee some projects in the near future as we build a safe place for those who need it...blessings to you guys!
As much as I enjoy watching these videos, I can't help but think of how cool it would be as the homeowner to have a video like this showing the whole process of your house being built.
It'd be a pretty shit thing for homeowners to have their home shown in full, including the surrounding location and get free access to insights on security weaknesses on these homes. sorry, but I'd rather not have my home be on full display foir millions to see
I can see customers getting shit pissed because the builders are having fun doing it. By experience, the less the owner sees of the building process the lesser the trauma.
Thank you so much for editing this long video. Much better than anything on TV at the moment. The commentary and all the effort that goes into putting these videos together for our enjoyment is phenomenal. Thank you so much again best wishes from the UK.
Having framed custom homes for 30+ yrs. I've been on jobs where I've done what you've done here and being ( Ol school) I don't impress easily but you guys get a hats off from me! It's great when you have a crew that has a good sense of humor...takes the edge off of a sometimes stressful job and as you know...makes for a better job done in the end. Great job and video guys!
Being in construction for over 30 years myself. It's great to see a talented crew that takes pride in their craftsmanship!! The young generation still in school needs to watch your guys channel. Just to let them know how you can build something amazing with your skills and at the end its very rewarding. I'd buy your crew lunch if you're ever out in Colorado. Peace brothers 🙏
I amazed how you guy's get on so well. I'm a retried builder what I miss the most is the banter and the jokes. it's great fun when you woke with a great crew. it's a brilliant job you all have done. Good luck for the future. God bless you all. Paddy from Belfast Ireland. 🇮🇪
It is a great pleasure to watch a crew like yours who seem like best friends work together and it has to be even more gratifying to work with people that after lots of projects you can almost read each others minds which make it so much easier to build a project and still keep the comraderies that have been established over years of together. All in all a great video and I see no short cuts in materials and construction practices. Great job done by all.
This is far and away the best builders I’ve ever seen, they are almost perfect, 99.9% on measurements and very little readings. It looks like they think everything through God bless y’all.
i use to build high end homes with my father and i see that you and your team execute the same thought process and level of high standards as we did back when we built homes that today stand out as unique in quality and durability standing up to time as the last home we built was 30 years ago! MY point is to commend you with showing your viewers what i thought was a lost ART and there is no substitute for quality and start square finish square so your build is inspirational fun and what will stand out as DONE RIGHT! i miss the jobs worked on with friends and family! you guys dialed every thing in and my time was not wasted as i enjoyed watching and remembering ! THANK ALL OF YOU
I've been an auto mechanic for 20+ years until I threw out my back but at times throughout the years when I was out of work, I would work with my dad building houses or doing additions, remodels etc. , and I loved the work that I did. Hard work for sure but I loved it. That being said, I really enjoyed watching you guys build this awesome house in its beautiful location. Nice work guys!
The way you guys get into the details is awesome. Like planing the lumber to make sure the decking is completely flat and other stuff most builders wouldn't care about. Impeccable work guys.
I’m closing in on my retirement and I’d like to move from Minnesota to a warmer climate, but the prices on homes are stupidly ridiculous and Mortgage prices has been skyrocketing on a roll(currently over 7%) do I just invest my spare cash into stock and wait for a housing crash or should I go ahead to buy a home anyways
Most people are unable to handle a fall since they are accustomed to bull markets, but if you know where to look and how to get around, you can profit handsomely. It depends on your entry and exit strategy.
@@henryCliffordJames Due to the significant falls, I need advice on how to rebuild my portfolio and develop more successful tactics. Where can I find this teacher?
@@henryCliffordJames She has excellent credentials and an outstanding occupation. Hence, I swiftly copied whole name and typed it into my browser. I'm curious to discover why she is so busy, and despite the fact that she has unquestionably good credentials, I nevertheless schedule a meeting with her.
Watched this whole video sitting in my truck at job site and told my guys im researching and ordering materials, as a remodeling contractor in NC I love Bryson city area and envy the fun builds in the mountains. Good job guys, now I can get to work
Nice video! I spent my entire life building homes just like this. With my three brothers yes four of us and at least four other guys but we did very thing from start to finish. There was a lot of pride in this for all of us!
I have always worked by myself building garages, decks, and other home type projects and property maintanence. One fall about 10 years ago I had to go look for employment. My sister hooked me up with a framing company. I knew how to build but again I always worked by myself. I joined a 3 man crew that had been working together building houses for years. I found out quickly that I didnt know the "proper" names and terminolgy for alot of stuff. being the new guy and odd man out felt very humbling and had me second guessing my every move. As soon as my other work for myself picked up I gave my notice to them. I was always in the way and slowing their process down. At least I felt I was. Those 3 guys would build 3-4 bed 2 story homes with attached 3 car garages, completely weather tight with windows, doors, roofing, tyvek and porches in 2 weeks give or take a day. Crazy.. So crews of guys who day in and day out build houses are able to do incredible shit, fast.
.. side note.. Never, NEVER attempt to do Bitchathane or Ice and water sheild on a hot day, or windy day. Double F U if you try to use it on a hot and windy day. If it touches itself even just alittle, cut it off. Dont waste your time trying to get it straightened out. It juat gets worse.
I can't believe I watched the whole thing but it brought back a lot of good memories of me and my sister doing drywall in restaurants and apartments and homes she's been gone 6 years and I miss her every minute😢❤❤
These guys are so good, they do the framing better than most finish carpenters do interior finish carpentery. I'm tempted to buy property in NC and hire this crew to build my dream house
Im a former broken down old school stick framing GC of 20 years from Wa State Olympic Peninsula. Built some customs ground up right down to concrete, insulation, drywall and paint etc. You guys are awesome framers/builders. Everything is perfect, cuts, fit etc Nice job guys. Two things I miss, building with my old crew and my youth and those joking moments around the jobsite. I’ll be 60 in 8 days and 5 years I’ll be retiring from being a Boeing Aircraft Mechanic here in Ohio. Just wanted to let you guys know, you bring back great memories of my jobsite days and my youth and all you guys craftsmanship, awesome work. I came across your videos and totally enjoy watching your work. You guys are pretty funny 😆You guys brought up why the carpenter pencils are flat, personally outside of them fitting pretty good in your ear or nailbag chisel slots, I think they are best for doing those 1/4 scribes . The other is mixing your coffee 😁
I really like watching guys build houses the right way.Seeing all of you taking it seriously an if you find something wrong you guys fix it instead of the typical, let's just keep going and get it done with. I owned a hardwood floor company on Cape Cod Massachusetts for almost 30 years and did every single floor the right way the first time. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Keepm coming guys. Kevin
Top tip When using a hole cutter on ply or mdf board, start the hole to mark the circle and then drill a small 1/4 hole just inside the circle. All the sawdust will go down the 1/4 hole. This stops burning and if a cup is put underneath, all the dust will fall into the cup. Ideal in counter tops etc.
I actually love watching your video's. I grew up doing construction with my Dad. He died March of 2020. I watch you guys and it brings back memories of stuff we did. Of course we didn't have all them fancy tools. This was back the late 60s and most of the 70s till I went in the service. Thank you for the memories
I watched the whole thing in one sitting. In a very nostalgic way, it made me miss framing/building. And as much fun as y'all seem to have, I know that there were times where you weren't having so much fun.... those days I don't miss. And employees, I don't miss employees!! Beautiful house and great site, cheers.
New to channel. The view and location are spectacular. To the cement vendor. I saw your Wounded Warrior emblem on the truck. We are a first responder family. My husband is 100% service connected Vietnam Vet. Thank both the VA and American public rewnewed support of veterans. Due to advances in field medvac supplies and training and floating hospitals more veterans are surving multiple amputations and worse. Family caregivers of age struggle to provide care. Please keep these families in your prayers. Thank you.
Totally came across your video on accident and got sucked in quick. I’ve never seen/watched a home made from step 1 so this was so educational and entertaining. This was officially the longest video I’ve watched on RUclips. What a beautiful home. You and our team should be proud! Thank you for sharing. 😎
Really nice build, I'm sure you are all very proud of it. I'm a 45 year architectural professional specializing in single family homes, mostly MUCH larger than what you've built in this video (think "McMansions") and I really appreciate your attention to detail, especially finishes, and the wonderful, creative, and unique custom touches. I work the greater Pacific Northwest area and some of our building techniques vary a bit from yours (example: all our foundations are poured-in-place concrete, almost no use of CMU at all), but then, the conditions we build to and for are also quite different. Beautiful home, incredible site, magnificent views...truly an awesome build!
In Germany we would take a company for the holes, another for the foundation, one for the brick walls, one for the wooden constructions, one for the roof, one for the insidewalls, one for the painting ... and so on and on. YOU took only six awesome guys and made it!! GREAT SKILLS!
Uhm, if you do, then you don't do it right. A friend of mine has a construction company in Berlin, and it basically consists of 8 friends working together, building houses. They build houses all over Germany and Poland. In addition to that: there is a difference in building a brick house versus wood. There is a huge difference in building laws, laws in Germany being much more complicated, and they require licensed specialists for all work you do, from construction to plumbing to electricity. This prevents people from doing all kinds of different jobs, they have to specialize in one particular field, have the specific diplomas and the liability insurance that goes with it. And then, on a side note, I dunno about this house which looks of a decent quality, but in general, the quality of houses in Germany is WAAAAAYY above that of American houses. These paperboard houses get blown away with the first hurricane, they would never pass the Bauabnahme (final approval by authorities) in Germany. When you close one window, the entire house shakes. Whilst in Germany, it is expected that houses, once build, will be useable for the next 400 years. At least.
@@anadubar4819: I also from germany and built 1 large hosue in france nearly alone and also 1 in germany. but in germany I had problems with the government and also because I always asked them how to do and reading the laws and tell them that only because of they always do so as they wanted me to do it is not sure that there is also an other possibility. but also in germany each state has his own building regulations and even from city to city often the people working there in those government offices not know how they hanlde this all in other cities. and that is why it is so expensive to built a house in germany. all is double and tripple regulated and everybody only wants your best - your money
Same here in Australia. A whole slew of "not my job" tradies who have minimal care of the build as an entirety because theres no ownership past what their task in the process is. Everyone is fast to point fingers when something goes wrong with no one willing to step in and make repairs because that's tacitly taking the blame. Builds are never on schedule because if one trade is late or slow to complete, then it puts everything else off schedule, and the following trades have already moved on to another job. We are in the middle of building a shed on the farm for robotic milking and involved there's the shed builder, concreter, glazier, electrician, plumber, IT tech, and installers of machinery. Already, the shed builders have us a minimum of 2 months behind schedule because they took two weeks off without saying anything to do a 'quick job' elsewhere. The concreter, who should have had his part done 3 weeks ago is unavailable for another 4 weeks due to him not being able to wait and having work booked elsewhere and the glazier said he'd have to do his installs now or not be able to do the job so all windows and doors have been done before the floors even in... All other trades have also been shunted weeks further away from contracted dates because of what the builder did and no one is sure of trades availability now and no one is happy, least of all those of us who should have had a completed shed ready to use 2 weeks ago.
The cool part about these videos Looking back and remembering all the work that went into the house, I feel like I was there 😀 Thanks for these videos and making me feel like part of the crew.
I was mesmerized watching you all build this house. You guys seem to get along so well. It was so much I had to watch from start to finish ! Can't wait to see your next build.
The Perkins crew put entertainment in construction that is why their channel is so much fun to watch. I never miss any episode. Much love from Nigeria.
As you folks were doing many of the finishing aspects of this build, I was getting chills. The overall craftsmanship and the how this all came together, was stunning!!
Loved hearing blue rodeo in your soundtrack. I'm Canadian and didn't realize their music was in the States. Great video. So nice to see guys working together to meet a goal.
I really love the way you guys build wherever it is and the tools you have are second to none, a first class job and finish ,who wouldn’t love to have a home like that .peace and love from Scotland 🏴 to you guys 👍❤️🥃
We did a similar, 20 by 40 started completely off grid. 3 years later put in a septic system. 3 years later hooked up power. We were so used to living that way our power bills are only 21 bucks a month and 50 a month running the air conditioning during summer. We expanded our catchement to a full size 1000 gallon in ground cistern. Love everything we've done and wondered why we didn't get power sooner. Can't wait to build a garage for all the tools next. Good job guys on your build.
What an absolutely wonderful professional build, loved following it from digging to completion, you guys clearly enjoy your work and are professional to the end, the fact your banter is what drives you all shows your professional natures, great work beautiful house
I am a 27 year old woman who knows nothing about building a house, but i found this video very interesting & i think this crew is very talented & i find it amazing that you guys were able to do every step of the process, i thought once you guys finished the base of the house, a different crew would come in to do the rest… but nope! & i imagine all of your wives/husbands, or future wives/husbands are/will be very lucky to have someone who is so knowledgeable, handy & able to literally build a house from the ground up… good work guys ❤❤
Simply the best group of hard working men from beginning to end that take so much pride in there work to make the home owners so proud to live in there dream house and make it there home .
In today's world, a guy with a busted foot showing up for work is incredible. It's a miracle if you can get anyone to show up for two months in a row, much less a walking wounded. Kudos to him and the rest of the crew. Really impressed by your crew and their commitment to the company/projects.
Nah just don't be a dick I quit on a bloke out during a pour for a driveway all cause he started having go's at everyone in the crew for no fucking reason (never had before till we all went out to this job in his truck and not personal cars) turns out fella was underpaying 3.50$ and hr unsure if he knew or not but I got a decent final check
I have met some crews work like family. Show up everyday. It all depends on contractor. Pay them good, unemployment during winter, benefits and consistent busy work. Actually a lot of contractors doing this type of build have amazing crews. As a customer if I am building a house, and say I don't cheap out accept a good bid I will find a contractor with employees like this. Usually what happens is homeowner will hire for least price, get cheapest contractor, who will pay lowest to employees, who will not show up. Now if you spend decent amount of money, the contractor has money to pay decent etc. You get what you pay. If I don't pay good for a job I will end up with subpar contractor. You will be surprised if you found out what he pays those people to show up. It shows up in their attitude. They are paid very well.
I am a newbie! I love construction. I’ve always wanted a digger or mini for home, but at 70, It’s a never gonna happen. I am enjoying your humor and adult child play. Keep up the great work!
You guys really moved me on different levels. First, you really exhibited American pride and talent throughout your project. To me, and many, that’s the gleam of the project. Second, the cohesive factor in all of your interactions made it educational and comforting. I’m very happy that I discovered you, and wish you all the success that you deserve! Thanks for sharing!
It is so impressive that your team is talented and capable of doing it all not to mention the window cleaning in the end! Bravo! such a joy and entertaining to watch!
Yes, there is a battery-powered framing and finish nailer and more. Milwaukee, However, they are not cheap. We used them on grain elevators, building many different kinds of builds that we needed to do. When you work on grain elevators, you are up to 150.' in the air, and when you find something that needs fixing, it's finders keepers. You get to fix it because you are the only one who will go that high.
As so many others said...I can't believe I watched your incredible team build a fantastic house from scratch. Obviously, they enjoy PBS from the many wry references, and that was a plus. What impressed me the most was the ability to improvise, like McGyver, and never stress out over problems. Are any of the team related? Such great fellowship!
When you stand the frames, screw a vertical block to the outside of the floor joists so that when you lift the frame it will add the little advantage of not slipping off the edge and help with aligning the wall to the floor edge.
Really good job editing! I watched the whole series and I really don't feel like I missed anything in this cut. I also didn't feel bored watching it after having seen the other episodes.
I've done the same many times. The last one was on a cliff/steep hillside overlooking a lake. It was tough getting the footings dug out and poured. Had to do them all by hand because we couldn't get a machine down there the incline was too steep. Cut down about 50+ trees and pulled stumps first. It took 7 months to get it framed and roofed with 4 guys and 1 Case machine. I love the work though. It's so satisfying.
It was a pleasure watching you all guys putting in so much effort and hard work in bringing someone's dream come true wishing you all guys all the best
Poison Ivy….Colloidal Silver Cream! Also the small clef will disappear as it matures.

ROTFLMAO........I too sat and watched all 2:41:58 for the exact same reason LOL
I know it's a pain but I really wish they'd do a lot more of these 2hr+ vids - without doubt they're THE best thing to watch on RUclips right now !. I LOVE EM !
Check back tomorrow!! New one coming out!!
Brings back memories of my days in construction working for my brothers-in-law. Nothing more fun than building houses!
These are so flippin good.
Yes I enjoy watching
i agree they keep my attention more then other channels
And if you do drop it throw it away you shattered all the lead inside 🤣
@Carlos Rodriguez Von-Samosa de Aquas it depends on what part of the world your in, and who made the pencil you smart arse !!
That joke flew right over your head

As a 71 year old woman I’ve never watched video like this, in its entirety before. WOW you’re all bloody amazing!
Your good natures really make this a joy to watch. Thank you ❤
How about the previous 70 years? An 83 year old wants to know?
Love seeing the integrity in your build. The world needs more builders like this super talented crew.
@@JimsEquipmentShed thank you!
I'm sure you've. Checked out their other videos Tim? I feel for you brother, that comment was in my head the entire time I watched this video...best of luck and health sir.
@@Niners585 thank you. I have been checking out a lot of the videos they have posted. They all are great.
Exactly my thoughts! You can tell they care about the quality of their work.
2:32:13 I must have missed part of the video somewhere… or maybe it’s a separate video?
Camaraderie* ;)
As one who is not a former contractor...I do, too. I think we all do...having respectful and playful interactions with people you have to spend so much time with, makes life so much better.
It's hard enough building. We got to have fun doing it or we will get somebody else.
The, “Camaraderie”, of the crew. Camaraderie, it is.
I doubt if this house construction could withstand a magnitude 4.0 earthquake.
It's a win-win-win situation. The company gets to make extra money, customer gets to see their home building process and us viewers get entertainment.
The first time you were able
The first time you
Thank you so much for editing this long video.

Man, I wish all builders would put in as much effort and dedication into what they are building as these guys do. These guys are fantastic.

Nice video! I spent my entire life building homes just like this. With my three brothers yes four of us and at least four other guys but we did very thing from start to finish. There was a lot of pride in this for all of us!
If you got one..
Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣
Kevin
Top tip
When using a hole cutter on ply or mdf board, start the hole to mark the circle and then drill a small 1/4 hole just inside the circle. All the sawdust will go down the 1/4 hole. This stops burning and if a cup is put underneath, all the dust will fall into the cup. Ideal in counter tops etc.
Brilliant!!! Thank you!!
A genuine camaraderie between the builders is so cool!
Thanks!
Every time I watch you, I wish you guys would come to Uganda and build my home. The attention to detail and problem solving is so appreciated.

Man I can't get enough of these 3 hour build videos
That is the difference between a Contractor vs. A Builder.
@@anadubar4819: lucky - the financial governmnet says 50 years to reduce tax, and if a commercial building 33,3 years

It's amazing you guys have all the skills to complete every step of the building process. This was amazing to watch.
Great watching a good crew at their best

Love the environment you guys create, great working vibes. Wish you the best.
