Makes me wonder why on earth someone would want to renovate a mess like that, especially because they covered all the brick. Would have been cheaper and way easier to build from scratch imo.

Good job on vapor barrier, hopefully. Story.. 50 years ago our University renovated a student commons area with donated old barn wood. It was just becoming the new fad. They did a marvelous job, it looked fantastic and the students were quite happy. Summer came, temps, humidity and human occupancy had an effect that became stronger. The farm kids didn't mind at all, but the local city kids now knew what a cow barn smelled like.
