Old F-4 II Shoe🇺🇸
Why the Tattletale Speedometer in the truck? You aren't a commercial carrier?? 12:57
NO Bag over head ....
No Bag over head ...
Wait ,, bag over the wrong head !!!!!!!!
Scott's mustache needs to come back !!!!!!
What do you think of the idea of pulling the roller behind the seed drill as it would save from having to go over the field again with the roller-?
Possible the packer wheels could be removed from the drill. If that wouldnt work very well, than you could attach a long bar, spanwise behind the planter and in front of the roller while still getting rid of the packer wheels so that the bar would move the soil into the seed trenches. Then the roller would do the packing as well as pressing rocks into the ground.
I would like to know what you think of this idea.
The drone shot of the two Big Buds moving to the field was pretty impressive, they are some beautiful tractors.
I have a feeling Scott's beautiful wife was watching this video saw him put the empty can of ether back on the shelf and thought "yep he does the same thing with the mustard at home"
The bunny with more "hare" than leg-arms.....
🤣
Big Bud tractors, Ford trucks, American Flag, dogs. I could go on and on. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE.
I love how Welker Farms uses older equipment in a lot of applications, keeps costs down, and is just good business practice. No flash just practical, and you guys are great at repairing stuff that breaks. Hope you have rain to ensure a good crop this year. You do things right just can’t control the weather. Good luck on another season.
Ether should always be used while cranking the engine. Spraying it into the air cleaner, then cranking the engine tends to cause engine knock.
Remember if you have too many rocks in the fields, invite ice age geology classes from Montana, South Dakota and Colorado colleges to visit and collect all the glacial erratics they want so they can analyze and figure out if the rocks came from The Rockies or Canada…
I'll work on that.....Isn't there a gov agency called ICE...they could arrest these erratics....have them pound them into gravel to the tune of jailhouse rock......😊
We found a baby bun bun in the middle of a highway looking real scared. We tried to save it but it didn't make it. It is now part of the ranch. Little bugger broke our hearts.
It's always great to see Coby the Stunt dog on the fender BOB!!!!! What a great pal!! Look out rabbits
The Big Buds are so majestic lol
Whew, Scott, when I saw you with the bag over your head I was afraid that your Dad "Sacked" You! 😁. Thanks for your hard work guys, and for entertaining us. John here, photographing the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee, y'all.
That old iron standing tall working hard, is enough to make an older farmer tear 😢 Proud of you guys. Love your drone footage Nick. As always it's impressive.
Don’t know why but the shot of Coby running along side the tractors just put a huge huge grin on my face.
Seeing those two big Buds roll out together is almost breathtaking. To know that you can keep these beasts running after all there years is a testimony to you hard work and knowledge. Thanks from Virginia.
This show should educate people that their supper doesn't just pop up out of the ground. It takes dedication, regardless of the size of plot being farmed. Well done.
What about that "magic shelf " in the back of all the grocery stores?
Restocked every night!
IT'S MAGIC!!!! 😂
Yeah, the debris in your fertilizer was from the bird nest in the box of the blue Ford that was noticeable right when you started filling it. You might have to check in there next time. It probably makes it tough to blow it through the tubes......
One could say: when the two tractors are out in the field seeding then they are Big Buddies. 😁😁😁
Love those drone shots of Montana skies and the equipment working. 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Did I see some Hasenpfeffer? Nice to see Koby on his fender supervising the job.
Good to see the wheat go in Fellows, love the Drone videos Nick, Bob I see you & Kobi are on Patrol, Scott you looked like a big softy with the baby Rabbit, I think the Kids will love him, Cheers & Best Wishes, Regards & God Bless Trevor.W.Bacelli. Biloela Qld Australia.👍🐕🐎🦄🦌🐂🐃🐄🐖🐗🐏🐑🐐🐨🐨🐨🐨🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦃🐔🐓🦆🦢🦋🌺🌺🌺🌺
The 'unknown' comic ! I haven't seen that guy, since the Gong Show in the 70s. 😂
Wabbit season ?(colby hopes so) No, duck season no, BIG BUD season !!! 😂 (hey, where's the "big bud" emoji) ?!! Lol
On our JD 4010, we screwed either bottle into the console below the steering wheel, so it was expected back then. And yet, our IH Farmall would start anytime.
Good to see the old Big Buds at work..... Good that they are manufacturing them again, and that the new ones will be be farmer serviceable as always, unlike the way some other brands are going. And congratulations to Leg Arms on having role in turning parts for the new Big Bud.
Laughed for 5 minutes when Leg/Arm came into shed. Ha Ha Ha !!!!! Love the drone shots. Thanks for your farm. God bless your harvest this year.
May God bless all our farmers with good weather and adequate moisture to grow their crops.
I will be 74 yrs old this years and all I did starting in junior high school until I got married in my mid-30 was work on 1 farm and all the hours I did it from sun up till late night I would have not traded that experience for any other. I look at your operation and think how much work you all do and the hard work at that. But to me it sure looks like heaven on earth. Plus Montana is the perfect back drop for the Big Buds.
Y’all 2 are a blast to watch! Brothers having some fun!
Im waiting for Scott to show up with no eye brows..lol Love the vids, cant wait to see the finished house! Prayers with yall for a safe planting season!
Don't give him ideas that his kids won't laugh about!
@@wssides lol no doubt!
Love how both legarms and nick show their houses being built everything from the beginning and show us all up to drywalling and then after that they never show em again so we never see the finished look and progress and all that stuff...😢
And nick if your wife is there at the house as much during the process like you then she could record the progress while your busy farmin
It's beautiful seeing the equipment out in the field planting. Love it!
Colby is such a cool dog, love seeing him riding on the fender on the look out.... too bad no more video's on your house, I used to be an electrician and love watching the progress on both of your houses....
Thanks guys for giving me an outlet to a world i miss althought i never was a farmer. Its in our DNA. A break from the concrete jungle we find ourselves inn.
good to see your dads dog again, riding on his fender!
Cool drone shots. I think to myself "wow, this looks so amazing and epic, but there isn't a tree to be seen." How the heck is there not a tree for as far as the eye can see. That can't be right. I wonder if there is a drought if everything is just going to blow away.
Like yalls video the best not because it's better then the others peoples. But you don't run out and buy new stuff because it might break down you fix stuff. And keep it going no matter what it takes. I grew up on a dairy farm we always didn't have money to go out and buy tractor and combines whatever. We had to fix it and make it work did waste money on stuff it not broke or might break.
I saved this video for the end of a long day at work. Awesome drone footage. The color in the sky for a backdrop awesome . I just had my new Nikon Out getting ready for an event Saturday. Thanks for another inspiring video.
Man that's some nice clear drone footage. Minty job boys!! 👌
Need a collaboration between you guys on a live like straight pipe and northern farmer did a while back. Would be awesome to see you guys might even pickup some subs from it .
I have to say I laughed out loud when Scott walked into the storage shed. What he wears on his face is no one's business but his. An old phrase comes to mind, mind your own business.
Nick had to hold his laugh in, that made it even funnier.
LEG ARMS FINE LOOKING FELLOW!!! 👀👍👍
Wouldn't it be great at harvest time if you linked up with all the farmers in your network - The Larsons, Cornstars, Brian and the Millennial - so you get a big picture of when America goes farming. Who starts first, the weather, the issues etc...
Love the drone footage and the music that goes with it....
15:29 That ending, spott on 👌😂
That was a nice little fireball.
I would get those flags up out of the dirt & dust. If you need to see the corners of the drill use something else. just my opinion. the scenic views of the countryside is breath taking, that's from one native to another!
I hope you got all the spring wheat planted before all the recent moisture.
13:41 .... yea ... thos 620 quads are prettty slick..... nice.... new.... ''pwerfull'' and all that.... yea... pretty.....
BUT....
THE WHITE PRARIE GHOSTDRAG00NZ IS WHY I STARTED WATCHING THIS CHANNEL !!!
the BIG BUDs are THE WHITE PRARIE GHOSTDRAG00NZ .... ;) big white field ghosts... like the GHOST SHIP out there in the ocean.... chuggin along.... THAT IS WHY I STARTED WATCHING THIS CHANNEL !!! LONG LIVE THE BIG BUDs!!!!
I sure do hope you all get to try one out when it is OUT IN DEMO MODE .... ;) testing it against that 713 goin FULL DEEP on that tillage thingie... and seeing what one did it better ???? ((insert TIM ALLEN GRUNT here)) ;) Heheheheh
Old Blue, my favorite, that walker suspension was so stable.
That truck is the easiest truck to shift! It misses you.
It’s so exciting that you’re both getting into your dream homes. Did Scott keep the house on the yard? Would be a nice place for workers to stay in the busy season, which is why I wondered.
Bob said that the sister is going to be on one of the boys houses
@@delbutler885 that’s great. They’re right in the middle of the yard, so I doubted they’d sell.
Both boys build 1/2 mile opposite ends of the farm yard. How's the garden coming......is your green thumb greener? 😊
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob oh my gosh I’m SO excited! I used a 3 tier Greenstalk last year, got a 5 tier this year. We have raised beds throughout our yard but don’t have a lot of space & these are great(esp for my back!) They’re full gardens, just vertical. I started my tomato seeds late(Baker Creek True Black Brandywine & brown sugar are new) can’t wait to see how they do. I put in a perennial herb garden next to the house & 1 of our rain barrels. Only have the tomatoes to get in, they need another week. Second year using the Ruth Stoudt method for potatoes, onions, snap peas, etc early season plants doing great-EXCEPT carrots. None of them germinated. Bad seed pack I think. We doubled our crop this year(food prices & all) Canning season will be here before I know it! Praying your drought is over & a wildly successful harvest! Will be watching!!
6:12 ether, brake fluid, spray pint, how many of us have put back a "empty" can on the shelf to increase the collection of some what empty cans ?
Life is so much better when you have a dog like Toby
This is by far my favorite farming channel. Praying for you to have good crops this year. If I’m lucky I’ll ride my motorcycle from southern Idaho and visit you this summer.
I loved the hare!! Pun on the bunny and Scott’s whiskers
Not use to hearing about freezing temperatures in May. I'm glad to hear that the house is coming along well. Not heard anything from Scott's house for a while. I enjoy the videos. Thank you for allowing us to follow the family. There's nothing better than to see a family stay together. I was wondering about your sister. Please pass along thank you for his service to this great Country we live in. Thanks for farming and the food raised for us to live. God bless your family. I enjoy the videos with Dad in them. His determination is an inspiration
Which sister? One lives in Europe, and I live in Scott's old trailer. We're both doing great - thanks for asking! 😊
@@mtcelticharper both
@@user-oi6xs4yj5o we hope Lisa will be able to come back for a visit sometime soon, as we definitely miss her and her family. It's hard growing up so close together to have her live so far away. But we are proud of her, and these family bonds always last. We just need a bumper crop to afford plane tickets to go see her!
ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT VIDEO.....THANK YOU for what you all do!
NICK some great shots there of dad and his dog either on the tractor or running around.
Thanks for another video. There are no other tractors ever that look like The Big Buds coming at you. The drone shots are really inspiring the way you put them together. God Bless your season 2024 .
Should of called up Zach Johnson to retrieve that bowling ball on that last shot.
Remembering that collab video from a few years back, I believe he said something on how they put on job application s that they have excellent bowling ball retriever skills
I appreciate you taking the time to film this stuff for us I know it's alot more to film and show us how you guys do it. Great drone filming.
Leg arms is handling planting in a unique way. 😂🎉
Your shots of the buds planting are spot on
Leg arms with that bag on his head I was laughing so hard😂😂
nothing like spring seeding.🤩👍👍🐇🐶
Nick, really liked the overview drone shot opening this video. Great work.
Did Coby catch a Bunny ?
Good luck with the Spring wheat. 😊
The old truck should look pretty good to Y’all. You can still hit parts for them and that is a lot cheaper than replacing them.
Love the videos. Thank you🙏
Awesome drone footage Nick
It's good to see Nick again. God bless him and his family.
I'm jealous I have no seed in the ground yet NCWI. Beautiful drown shots for the planting rigs!!!
1:08 Leg Arm's in a bag 😂
It’s the Unknown Farmer!!😂😂😂
Gong ,their to young to know what your talking about😂
Great ideal for a t shirt!
Praying for Y’all some good Rain !
I think you guys are going to have a really great year the weather has been so screwed up this year we are getting way more rain then usually I hope you guys are getting some of it
Great video! Loved the drone footage.
Those Big Buds are toys for big boys!
I was worried about Tony and you,Jeff as there was a time y’all didn’t post any videos for a while.
Y’all take care of yourselves. Keep turning out the videos.🙏
Good luck seeding your 2024 crops Welker Farms
The drone shots are amazing,
Thanks guy. Always love the drone footage. Beautiful!
Good to see the star of the show back on patrol. Hi Coby!!
You got a new farmhand. The civil war lookalike guy is gone. 😂
Legarms keep up the great entertainment around your mustache!
Listen up to your this Welkers.
I typed my comments to you like I always do, and you know my comments are lengthy. Then I forgot to post them-all that work for nothing. Did it twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So here goes for the third time.
Was a super video. It was interesting and entertaining.
Love the drone footage toward the end of the video. Thought it was outstanding with the music and machinery.
Showed the Heart of farming and beautiful sceneries and God’s hand on the farmer!!!!!!
Bless you Welkers!!!!!
See that you hired some new help, the person wearing the paper bag. Know you can always use an extra hand. Thanks for introducing this person to us. Hopefully they will turn out to be good help for you.
Glad to hear you all are toward the end of pea seeding. Next is wheat I believe you said. Then one more after that. I get really confused on what seed you are seeding.
Maybe you could do a simple chart to show what seed you are doing and what seed is next. Maybe the new paper bag person could do that for us. Thanks.
Sending prayers your way for rain and continued moisture!!!!
May God watch over your new seedings.
Thinking of your farm operation and you always for a fine crop production year.
Thanks for everything Welkers!!!! Take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Third time trying to post my comments.
Oh my.
Thanks Steve! Your dedication is much appreciated!
Love your drone footage. I like all your videos really.
Thanks for the house update , nice to hear things are going well .
Pea's are done - now the wheat. Hoping / praying for a good year for you. Take care
Uh-oh! The traditional birds nest in the fertilizer auger! I'd like to say that never happens to me but...
HEY IN MY HEAD I SAW A DROP DOWN FOLDY SHELF THINGIEY THAT YOU CAN PUT A QUAD ON that henged on the front cattle bumper ....
I saw this in my head watchin TONY FAST's vid today.... thinkin about ''another layer'' to his cattle guard thingie that folded down and LOWERED you ride the quad up on the 4 wheel pads (adjustable.. for lightweight.) and then you drop the EXTENDAQUAD or wutever it's name gunna be and load up the quad to RUN BACK TO ''the farm'' from where you dropped off the truck... eh... just thought I would pass along the idea incase someone wanted to FABRICATE IT UP FOR THE PEEPS !!!
Great start for the year in planting wheat
I hope you guys are getting the rain we are here in northern Iowa, we had got 12 inches of rain this last 2 weeks
Legarms the old trucks need there ether like you need your coffee.😂😂
👍😊
Hello Mr Robert glad you are doing well and keeping everyone in line
I don't think I'm keeping anyone in line .😊 ....... more like where did they go........👍
Thank you! Happy Mother’s Day to your Wife and mother
Agree 🙏
Love the old Ford trucks!!
Cant put my finger on it but Leg arms looks just a wisker different lately, did he get a raze-or is he a little stropped for cash? 😂
I don't know what you mean, he's completely normal 🤔 😂
@@WelkerFarmshow much is he paying you to say he is normal? Or blink twice if you’re afraid for your life…. lol 😂
@@WelkerFarms normal? Never known him to ever be normal. 😃
@@WelkerFarms you should look into putting some lights on the back of seed carts so you can see the planter behind it 🙂
Midlife crisis !!
Very nice and well done. Happy spring wheat harvest.
Another great video guys 👍. Glad to see your drone footage again one of the best out there.
Always a great time when you can be planting
The unknow farmer for those who know, you know. So impressive to see both Buds heading off to seed.
Ok, now I've noticed two semi tractors with hoods off and no engines. What are we missing?
