I’ve been a Zelda fan since Ocarina of Time, and, as much as I’ve liked past incarnations of the character, BOTW/TOTK’s incarnation of Princess Zelda is the first one that I’ve really loved. You get a great sense for her internal struggle, her love not only for Link but also for Hyrule and its people, how she puts everything on the line to stop Ganon/Ganondorf, and how she ultimately overcomes everything in the end. Much like some of the past incarnations, she does help Link in both final battles too, so that’s nice. But perhaps my favorite thing about her is I find the side of her that is obsessed with research to be absolutely adorable and endearing. I like to think that Link grew to love her the more he saw of her nerdy side. She’s also my favorite Zelda design-wise; she looks amazing in all of her outfits, particularly her default outfit in both games and her ritual outfit in TOTK. The true ending here reinforces how far she's come since the events shown in the memories from BOTW; she now seems to be actively stepping into a leadership role not because she was pressured to but rather because of her own volition. From her time spent with Link, Mineru, Rauru, and Sonia and accepting their kindness and love, she now possesses the inner strength she needs to lead.

@@theknightikins9397 Yeah i disagree as well, since i truly didn't liked BOTW, and it is the same for TOTK for me.
I'm glad they annouced last week that the new Zelda would be different, since so far with BOTW and TOTK, i can't call myself aZelda fan anymore.
1:27 Zelda:”oh, thanks babe”
Wouldn't be legend of zelda without a massive friendzone with Zelda and Link at the very last ten seconds of gameplay.
Pretty sure they love eachother but it’s very subtle
@@elusiveart530 Link’s hair tie to get BOTW’s hairstyle is at Zelda’s house. They’re for sure more than friends
Then it would leave everything from Breath of the Wild all for nothing. Zelda’s love for Link is what awakened her sacred powers. They are like the metaphors of the silent princess flower, and King Rauru and Queen Sonia.
@@a.jthomas6132 I think he is refering more to Nintendo cock blocking our boy, not that the story wants to tell us that.

true, I was kinda disappointed that we didn't get a new rendition of the Hyrule theme playing through the game. But when I got to this part and that little 6 seconds played, it just broke me for a bit. What a timeless and iconic piece!
Congrats to whomever the ganondorf voice actor was for he was fantastic
That would be matthew mercer
@@gruul_guildgate7761 yeah that still shocks me to the core
Matthew Mercer is the one who voiced Ganondorf.
That would be Jotaro and McCree (Matt Mercer)
Another role Matt Mercer did justice to. Amazing performance.
We need a 3rd game for this Link and Zelda. I’m not ready to let go of them yet

I actually think their working on a 3rd sequel to this game
Fourth. We have had ao3 too.

I never get tired of rehearing renditions of classic Zelda songs in the modern games.
I know The Legend Of Zelda is Nintendo. But when Mineru fades away and the camera starts pointing towards the sky and the orchestra plays. I couldn’t help but getting Disney vibes. I really like how when Zelda goes to the edge of the floating structure. Zelda’s Lullaby can be heard by the orchestra. She promises to continue to dedicate herself to that goal. I wish that The Legend Of Zelda will never end. I just recently got into playing the games. Both of them. Thank you for uploading this ending. I loved it. MP25 Studios
Yonobu: So um goros? How are we gonna get back down?
Link turns around and faces Yonubu and everyone else, grinning over a edge he was familiar with. 😏

thank you beardbear for sharing this. i watched botw on your channel back when it came out, feels almost nostalgic and poetic to come back and watch totk here on your channel too!
this was truly amazing. i thoroughly enjoyed this, it was well worth the wait.
but now a nitpick... totk lore clashes so badly with established canon, and its gonna take a lot of copium huffing to reconcile this story with the timeline.
was still a brilliant story though. gameplay i have yet to comment on for obvious reasons, but i've been dying to watch the cutscenes lol

It really felt like Zelda was speaking to us directly, not just the sages, when she said "Now and for all time. My friends, with all your strength, stand with me!"
It's so interesting to compare this to BotW's ending. Instead of that big triumphant climax, this game ends nice and comfy, as if to tell you that it's okay to finally breathe that sigh of relief.
I like how all of them are pledging loyalty to Hyrules safety while Link standing there like 😐
As someone who didn’t care too much for BOTW (aside from its story), I absolutely loved everything about TOTK. I’ve put nearly 100hrs into this game and I still feel like there is so much to do. What an absolute masterpiece
Thanks for posting this! I just forgot to frikin talk to one person to end off a mainquest and didnt get it myself
¡HERE WE GO TEARS OF THE KINGDOM!
If we can have a sequel to this game and make it a trilogy, this will undoubtedly be the Lord of the Rings trilogy for gaming
Hmmm
Beautiful game. Just watched all the cutscenes. Do Zelda and link love each other?? Someone answer me 😆
Never❤
According to Kass there is interest on Zelda’s part… but Link is the big mystery because the boy seems to ogle his next meal more than a potential love interest
Obviously but they try not to be in your face about it.
Yeah but there kinda always has been (except for windwaker, those two are just best buds and partners in crime lol) Nintendo just likes to tease everyone about it
I really hope someone goes back to where Zelda and Link were looking at the pictures at the beginning of the game and destroys those cracked rocks soon😂I wanna see what was hidden!!!
i have done it myself and you can too when you go beneath hyrule castle.

If nintendo does decide to make this zelda a trilogy I'd love for the minish amd vati to make an appearance in the next game.

The ending fight to this KILLS botw one. Like holy crap!
Like fighting Ganon in those 3 phrases was hella fun! Him progressing the difficulty of the fight with the parrying dance off, having your team come back in to deal with the phantoms. After that his saying “FUCK IT” -Dragon Mode- after you fight with him again 1v1. I was just in a total shock.
Then the cherry on top was after beating Ganons dragon form, you fucking flying down to earth trying to catch up to Zelda, while she unconscious and plummeting to the ground.
Like what a way to end the game!

As much as I want a trilogy of botw style games I feel like the only possible way to do a third game here is to have demise as the villain
They could bring Back Ghirahim and have him try to resurrect Ganon, but that would just be skyward sword again. I really want to see them introduce a new villain and not a gag character like Kohga. Don't get me wrong tho I love the yiga clan they funny asl.
