to be fair kilton was also kinda crazy.... in a much more understandable way. their shared culture/beliefs probably made it a little easier to take in that info
The way Kilton took it doesn’t seem psychologically normal for losing someone they supposedly loved like a brother. Even if becoming a Bluepe was something Kolton wanted, the way he went about achieving that is, let’s not beat around the bush, essentially addiction and suicide. The way Kilton took it seems to fit more characteristics of apathy and emotional disconnection.
@@princesscadance197 i think that is a wrong read. Kilton made all the effort to make a very proper " tombstone" after all. @@SuperCatacata Who’s to say that Blupees aren’t simply another form that Satoris can take? And either way, Koltin knew he had no way to tell what form he would take, and Kilton said he was sure his brother was happy wherever he was, and I’m sure he is too.
So if eating the gems turns you into a Blupee, and Blupees come out of Bubbulfrogs, maybe that means Koltin could eat Blupees to become the frog. Maybe the Lord of The Mountain eats Bubbulfrogs? What if Link eats the Lord of The Mountain? _I should probably go to sleep._
It turns out that Kilton was wrong by saying that dream was impossible, Btw, I thought there would be a secret where Kolti becomes a god-like monster that could overpower the player and Ganondorf himself 😅
For those who are unaware, the Lord of the Mountain, Satori, is a *really* old Blupee. My belief is that Blupees evolve into Bubbulfrogs as they age, before finally becoming Satori at the right age.
@@elitegamer9310no, there was a retcon, now satori is the name of the blue spirit category, and under that category are Blupees, bubbulfrogs, and the lord of the mountain. By the new game logic, a Blupee is a satori same as a rabbit is an animal.

@@Willified I think it's more the bubblefrog are just disguised blupees as we see them change when we beat them, but there's only one true satori. BotW did say the satori was a long dead sage, likely that's the only one.
Yeah, I thought that was more likely. The Bubbulfrogs turn into Blupees. when they lose the gem so would it not make sense that the gem is why they're bubbulfrogs and not blupees?
I figured Bubbulfrogs where Ganon's influence turning Blupees into monsters. Slaying their monster form would free them, and the gem could be some type of gift.
This makes me beyond happy. I did the koroks for TOTK after giving up on hunting them in BOTW. But I didn’t have the patience after getting the last reward for the bubbel gems. I hope the brothers make another appearance in the future, whichever style game we may get!
I don't know if it's been patched now, but a fast way to get bubbul gems is to shoot a bubbulfrog, quickly use ascend (before it floats and pops into a gem and a blupee), but cancel ascend when you're sticking out of the floor. When you're back in the cave there should be another bubbulfrog. Might mess some stuff up I'm not sure, but if you really just want the rewards then it might be a good way to do it.
Thank you for showing his brother's reaction and the future location of the stall! Definitely will check out your other videos. More info than I was even searching for! Thank you! ❤
I thought the majora's mask one was best. Downside is it's an amiibo glider. Personally use the royal glider from the one Zelda amiibo. It's actually shiny.
I'm a little biased towards the Yiga glider myself lol. The Satori one does look very nice though. By looks alone I think it would be up among my favorites.

It's content I'll probably never unlock myself, but was very curious about. I really appreciate how you show every part of it, beyond only the transformation. It's a nice detail that the stall is moved to that mountain, and that the Blupees spawn around it :)
At least you get to see the fabric every time you open the paraglider, and the paraglider is always useful. The other sits in the key items of your inventory and does absolutely nothing.
my personal idea is that kolton is not on the path to the greater power he seaks, but it WILL be a VARY VARY long road for him, spanning past his brother's life and his brothers kids lives.

I never thought a quest like this would end on such a bittersweet note. Koltin was unhappy with his current life and he wanted to chase after his dream of living a simple life as a divine creature, Kilton was in full support of his brother’s ambitions and Kilton also went ahead and chased after his own ambitions. When we give Koltin all the bubbul gems, he’s thrilled to fulfill his dream at long last, but he lost his self from the transformation, when we report the news to Kilton, he takes it surprisingly well, requesting you to make use of the parting gift Koltin gave you, as it’s what he would’ve wanted.
Yeah I shot one on accident myself. Instead of being encouraged to shoot all of the Blupees, I refused to because my artistic eye alrrady knew they were spirits of some kind. Who’s to say that Blupees aren’t simply another form that Satoris can take? Yeah there’s the Lord of the Mountain, maybe he’s like the grandfather to all of the blupees, like the Great Deku Tree is to the Koroks. And either way, Koltin knew he had no way to tell what form he would take, and Kilton said he was sure his brother was happy wherever he was, and I’m sure he is too.
sort of he became a blupee not a Satori..but he get's to chill with one so that's nice lol
So if eating the gems turns you into a Blupee, and Blupees come out of Bubbulfrogs, maybe that means Koltin could eat Blupees to become the frog.

My theory is that Blupees are the small form of a Bubblefrog, and they are the small form of the Satori, so he did actually achieve his dream after all
@@Willified I think it's more the bubblefrog are just disguised blupees as we see them change when we beat them, but there's only one true satori.
Sees a crazy egg-head man eat raw gems and thinks, "Sigh... this can't be healthy."
But at least the rewards are worth it.
Might mess some stuff up I'm not sure, but if you really just want the rewards then it might be a good way to do it.

i like to think the blupees are what became of greedy people so they get shot at cause of their greediness (if that makes sense)
The rupees are their life savings
Or what they stole from the ground, which is why you can't find rupees in the grass. They're still in jars (mainly in goron city and northern mine where you break yunobo out in botw) and under rocks on a rare occasion. The Yiga foot soldiers in botw tended to drop rupees too.
Could you imagine doing this sidequest blind, and then finding out the reward was a paraglider cloth?!
The intention isn't the reward, it's the journey across Hyrule.
Besides, it's a much cooler version of Hestu's Gift.
This is one of the few paragliding fabrics that glows in the dark. The other ones are
Stalnox Fabric (easily the worst)
Addison's fabric (completing all sign guy quests)
And the twilight mirror fabric (amiibo only)
All fun and games till the kid who plays monster and hero with his best friend while wearing that moblin mask disappears into thin air after falling down when his friend hits him with a play sword
That’s the problem with some of the side quests in TotK, is that the end reward is so disappointing as well as the cutscene 😢
