So this is how it is done! I understood that the Ring Garland is the item that Deltan needs, but couldn't figure out how to give it to her. I took it there the hard way, ie. I drove it all the way from Kakariko village to Gerudo. I used about six different vehicles, at one point one of them dropped off a bridge into a river (with the Ring Garland attached to it) so that I had to fish it out. I lifted the Garland up hills with hovering stones, carried my vehicles part of the way, etc. Then proudly carried my prize through Gerudo town to the destination but the women didn't react to it. I tried to give it to Deltan, I tried to give it to the teacher, I dropped it on the floor and had that conversation with Deltan with the Ring Garlang right there on the floor between us, but nothing worked. Then finally I gave up. Now I finally know how to do it correctly, thanks XD

Attach the garland to your shield and take it to the heart pond on the mountain above Lurelin Village to produce 5 fairies. The hint to this secret can be found after rebuilding the village and walking in a home to see Zelda’s painting of the pond. Speaking with the npc in the home a few times changes his dialogue and indicates Zelda wtg for her true love while holing the garland at the pond in the evening.
The cool thing about this game is how many small pieces of fun dialogue there are scattered throughout the game, and none of them count toward even a side quest or anything. They're just there for fun~

He said that even if Link goes to the famous love spot in Faron (probably the heart shaped pond) with the garland, no one would want to be with him if he wore the Yiga armour xP Makes me want to try it, you never know
I know this is the main and only discovered use for the Ring Garland, but for the longest time since reaching Kakariko and finding it in the early game, I've been convinced that after you gain access to the floating Ring Ruin that you could bring the Ring Garland to Koko and Cottla's mother's grave since the roadblock blocks off the cemetary from the rest of the village. After I finally gained access and removed the roadblock, I brought a Ring Garland to the grave and tried putting it on top of/around their mother's gravestone (like a ring toss) but it didnt work and the hole was too small and couldnt even put anything through it in general. I tried leaving it there too but it despawned. Plus their family only visits the grave at dawn/early morning, so you cant even buy one until after that and Cottla goes to the Ring Garland Stand. I feel like there's a side quest inside the dephs where you only find a Lightroot and nothing else is there. Probably when dlc is planned they could use that area or... who knows... seriously there's a ton of things that were suppossed to be as side quests, but were forgotten or cancel it.
Maybe the point of finding the lightroot was to give you a clue that a shrine is above it? If it is a particularly hard to find shrine, that might make sense.
LMAOOOOOO Actually I’m curious, like obviously the Yiga armor + Gerudo town is probably not a good combination but what actually happened? I’ve been too much of a coward to go through my own experimentation process lol.
I got so excited when I came across the ring garland in game bcs on the npcs they were wearing it like flower crowns so I got the idea that link would finally be able to wear a cute lil flower crown on his head but no it’s just some silly little decoration and serves like 2 purposes EVER 😭😭
I also bought it thinking link can finally wear it like a crown as well, i was surprised they just gave it as an item, and didnt think of making it a garland 😂
Thank you! I bought one, and forgot I bought it, and had NO idea what I was supposed to do with it! Oh crap I haven’t explored the dessert region in this game yet!
I had the brilliant idea to haul the crown by foot, not fusing it. A good hour of walking/driving/horsing to getit "there" and see they wouldn't even react to be holding it in their face.
This took sooo long for me to figure out. I went searching around every village in the area. Did the entire lurelin village quest because I thought it might be locked behind repairing it all.
Dear diary: today I played a video game where I had to run around like an idiot trying to figure out what to do with a completely useless item. Thankfully, someone on RUclips discovered a use for it.
And here I was laying it on the garland shaped drawing on the ground in kakariko village or trying to put it on the statue, door, tree stump , thinking it fits somewhere
I built a vehicle, put the ring wreath on it and then drove all the way from Kakariko to Gerudo Town to bring the Lady her wreath. Imagine my pure disappointment when she didn't react to it at all! I tried placing it anywhere, even ON her (hoping it would be worn like a necklace or something?), but she ignored it, even when it was in the MIDDLE of Link and her in the cutscene. When I fused it to my shield as a last effort, and when THAT made her react, I think I died inside a bit. I could have just fused it directly in Kakariko and teleported over... I didn't need to go on this long journey...
So THAT'S what the ring garland is for and that's the accessory Deltan was talking about? I couldn't figure out what to do with the Ring Garland and figured it was just meant as a hood ornament or whatever for stuff you build. When Deltan said an accessory from the East, I thought of a piece of clothing. But when I rebuilt Lurelin Village, no shops like that opened there, and the CeCe Hat from Hateno didn't do anything. I never thought of using Fuse on it! Mystery SOLVED. And I can finally help Deltan now!
This is literally the most obscure puzzle in the game like I literally only figured it out from process of elimination. Not just the fact its the ring garland but the fact you need to fuse it to a shield.
When i first arived at kakariko village i came across this two little girls saying something about their mother waiting for them, i followed them just to ser what would happen and inmediately felt heartbroken when they started to pray to a statue; when i found one of the girls selling that, i bought one and placed It in the statue as a respect gesture I literally almost cried, It was just so sad ;-;
When I first did this I didn’t realize I could fuse it to my shield and accomplish the same thing, so I literally manually transported it the entire distance.
Not sure you can call this a secret use when it’s the only item you can use to be accepted with that specific npc in this specific situation, kinda just makes it its intended use, no? …Plus makes your shields look pretty when you hang them on the wall in your house 😊
Well not everyone completes the school subplot and often they dont even start it, so id call it secret enough. Its a fun little tidbit in an overall packed game
First, you need to wear a mask to make the first woman talking to you at the underground love class (must be night so you can enter) Second, get a noble pursuit for second girl Then you can show it for the final girl (I am a Chinese totk player)
The Gerudo Canyon Stable is the only stable without a Ring Garland hanging in it. I took one there and was unable to give it to the owner or to hang it.
I'm missing like 50. I understand that there should be 139 of them. Maybe some of them are unlocked after clearing all the main quests first. I really believe I have looked everywhere.
Update: I complete forgot about the picture frames in all the stables since the beginning of the game you couldn’t do anything with them hehe… and I found a couple more randomly but a lot of them are the stable picture frames that I’m missing and now the quests are available maybe since “beating” the main quests they became available to start
Me: Buys a garland and gives it to the traveler who wants one but has no money The traveler: **Sees link giving the garland to him** Should I buy one?👁️👄👁️

I noticed that at least some of the stables have ring garlands hanging at the reception, so I figured there was a stable missing one, but haven't really looked into it.
This is what I was thinking to. The closed stable near garudo is missing one
@@justinolson1025 Yeah, I did since find that, but apparently that wasn't relevant, it doesn't give you any dialogue or anything. Unless it's after defeating the gibdos, but I doubt it, I think that stable will just stay unfurnished.
Didn't know that i had to fuse it with a shield, so i travelled all the way from Kakariko to Gerudo Valley 😭😭😭
Jeez
Same for me 😅
@@bluekinopio9390 tbf, zonai devices make a task like that pretty easy, just takes about 10 mins.
Wow 😮
“Teacher, I…I can’t look derdectly at his face”
Majora’s mask:….
If you have it on your shield some the people at the stables makes comments about it like
"it's like ours!"
"Ah, a Ring Garland"
kinda wish Nintendo added a flower crown
they gave a crown to the goddess statue at goron city (atleast im 90% sure its goron city)
@@catjaypI haven't been to Goron city in TotK yet and I don't remember the Goddess statue from BotW, but I am 100% sure that the Godess statue in Rito village has a flower crown so you probably mean that. Wouldn't the flowers burn in the Goron city?
@@wp2837 I meant a regular crown, I could be mistaken but I just remember seeing a yellow crown on one of the goddess statues. I forgot that they already did have a goddess statue with a flower crown, so pointing out another statue has a regular crown is pointless, my mistake
@@catjayp Oh yeah sorry. I read your comment wrong and assumed you were talking also talking about a flower crown instead of a regular crown. Sorry 😅
PLEASE PLEASE PLEADE I WANT TO GIVE LINK A FLOWER CROWN SO BAD
Should be a side quest to do all that
Yeah
I take it there's nothing gained then, didn't look like it from what I just saw
there seems to be a lot of nameless side quests in gerudo town for some reason (talking to the guy in jail about his daughter and wife, getting the bottle with letter to the girl sitting in the shelter who throws it into the water underneath, and this quest)
@@ghostgirlsimpI kinda like those "secret quests", not having official markers make them feel more organic and it's rewarding to stumble on a npc and wonder if you can actually fulfill their requests that sound like random flavor text
@@meikaishi If I gotta put in the work, I want a reward, no reward no dice. Not a fan even if it is more organic.
The only other thing I would accept is if the overworld changes in some way to benefit me even indirectly or make it interesting in some way.
But just to help a random npc which does nothing of value after the help is dumb.
Link with that unsurmountable amount of rizz, even wearing a creepy malicious mask, his rizz comes through at the end.
Some lightroot also are near frox, and nothing else, which is also useful, since you get a medallion after defeating all frox in the map once :D
I used the yiga mask for the first one, biggest mistake of my life
LMAOOOOOO
Actually I’m curious, like obviously the Yiga armor + Gerudo town is probably not a good combination but what actually happened? I’ve been too much of a coward to go through my own experimentation process lol.
@@Vivigreeny25 you're put in prison. Same if you take off your shirt
@@Not_Maës-Gaming you’re… you’re put in prison if your shirtless?????????
@@Vivigreeny25 Yes, I would say it's because they don't want kids to be exposed to mens bodies before they leave the town, funny detail though
Maybe it's just me but I attempted to put the first Garland I bought on top of Paya's hat.
I actually fused it with a royal shield and made a selfie with the fake Zelda so i can put it in a frame in my new house 😅
Had no idea there was a quest related I bought the wreath and left it by the child’s mothers grave
It's cool that you think like that. When I first bought it I tried to fuse it to my whole house
I got so excited when I came across the ring garland in game bcs on the npcs they were wearing it like flower crowns so I got the idea that link would finally be able to wear a cute lil flower crown on his head but no it’s just some silly little decoration and serves like 2 purposes EVER 😭😭
I was also hoping it was a flower crown!😫
The Stables have one hanging up. They follow Link's idea.
I also bought it thinking link can finally wear it like a crown as well, i was surprised they just gave it as an item, and didnt think of making it a garland 😂
ok I'm glad I'm not the only one who proceeded to get very excited and then was profoundly disappointed, lol
stop i did the same exact thing😭😭😭
Who ever is reading this... have a great day! ✅✌🏼
Thanks, you too.
Thank you! I bought one, and forgot I bought it, and had NO idea what I was supposed to do with it! Oh crap I haven’t explored the dessert region in this game yet!
A dessert region? Ooh, Link would love that!
Different conversations available based on time of day. The possibilities seem endless, but they're all programmed 😮
Yup! Had unfinished business with that garland so thank you Bear!
How people figure this out is beyond me
I wished I could show Koko, Cottla and their dad their mom’s diary. 😭 I’m still heart broken from the cooking quest from BotW
Dear diary: today I played a video game where I had to run around like an idiot trying to figure out what to do with a completely useless item. Thankfully, someone on RUclips discovered a use for it.
Woah I never knew It Did that!
I knew about the class in botw, but not in totk. All three interactions are so wholesome!
Thank you for helping me out
bruh my mom came in in 3:34 and thought I was watching something "spicy" bc of the sound💀
I didn't need to go on this long journey...
literally meeeee omg
I love your videos keep the hard work up!
Hard work. The video explained NOTHING
Bro chill i have watched this channel for many years now ok
That was great. I would have never figured that out ever.
Boy I'm glad I stumbled across this before I went and got the thing and tried to carry it back to her.
This is literally the most obscure puzzle in the game like I literally only figured it out from process of elimination. Not just the fact its the ring garland but the fact you need to fuse it to a shield.
5:28
At least she doesn't summon a Monster everytime she sighs
Like some Fire Emblem Character
Hapi?
@@unknownbyself yup
OHHH so that's the accessory in necluda, at first I thought it mightve been the Cece hat, but that didn't work, thank you!
I accidentally stepped up onto her table and she FREAKED at me lmao 😂😂
Thank you for sharing!
When i first arived at kakariko village i came across this two little girls saying something about their mother waiting for them, i followed them just to ser what would happen and inmediately felt heartbroken when they started to pray to a statue; when i found one of the girls selling that, i bought one and placed It in the statue as a respect gesture
I literally almost cried, It was just so sad ;-;
I’m surprised that you can’t use it as a decoration for your house, maybe for the front door or something.
You can technically you need a display though
Why is your gameplay so smooth mine is nowhere near this buttery
When I first did this I didn’t realize I could fuse it to my shield and accomplish the same thing, so I literally manually transported it the entire distance.
Why did Koko grow up a little bit between games, but her little sister didn’t?
The "boring" answer is they only have two sizes of child model and didn't want to make an intermediate one between the two.
I'm glad to know you can use it this way! I just went to the class too!
It’s funny that this came up in my feed since I was just there a half-hour ago.
Does it have to be majoras mask or does any work?
Wow...that's really cool guys...very interesting content👍👍👍
I wish Koko had something to do with food like in the other game, and pursue her dream of becoming a chef, now she just makes flower rings
My man greeted that torch
bought one, didnt know what to do with it, fused it to a stick, never got rid of it
10/10 game
Omg i searched so hard but i didnt think about THAT
Not sure you can call this a secret use when it’s the only item you can use to be accepted with that specific npc in this specific situation, kinda just makes it its intended use, no?
…Plus makes your shields look pretty when you hang them on the wall in your house 😊
Well not everyone completes the school subplot and often they dont even start it, so id call it secret enough. Its a fun little tidbit in an overall packed game
One question, can the masking thing work with zant’s helm or depths (or even the korok mask)
thank you for that video! xD i was carrying mine for some time and then i got bored and tossed it lol
I love how the Gerudo are mighty warrior women but they suck at love just like the rest of us...
I didn't know what to do with the huge thing so I put it back after she left for the day. Didn't think of attaching it to a shield!
It’s for a side quest where you can help teach Geraldo vai ab talking to voe❤
When are you going to do from of flux construct locations?
I remember trying to take that thing to Gerudo town with Ultrahand because I didn't realize you can fuse it to something.
First, you need to wear a mask to make the first woman talking to you at the underground love class (must be night so you can enter)
Second, get a noble pursuit for second girl
Then you can show it for the final girl (I am a Chinese totk player)
idk why I thought she was referring to hateno lol finally I can help her
Will the Gerudo talk to you with the Link's Awakening Mask? It sucks that you don't get anything for this.
The Gerudo Canyon Stable is the only stable without a Ring Garland hanging in it. I took one there and was unable to give it to the owner or to hang it.
Will any mask work? I love running around with Majora's mask but the Lynel mask would have been funny too
Have you found all side quests yet? I’m missing 24 and going crazy trying to find em all
I'm missing like 50. I understand that there should be 139 of them. Maybe some of them are unlocked after clearing all the main quests first. I really believe I have looked everywhere.
You can ask the all knowing oracle, aka Patricia, Riju’s seal. I gave her a splash fruit and she showed me the coordinates for a side quest : )
Update: I complete forgot about the picture frames in all the stables since the beginning of the game you couldn’t do anything with them hehe… and I found a couple more randomly but a lot of them are the stable picture frames that I’m missing and now the quests are available maybe since “beating” the main quests they became available to start
Wait, you can go into Gerudo Town as a Voe in TotK?
Yeah because he saved the village
@@Rarkss yeah but its still cursed
Cool.
I was wondering.
Lightning Helm also works for this. There are probably additional ones
Probably anything that covers most of not all your face save the yiga mask (they probably won't take kindly to that)
@@tanandalynch9441this was the first thing i tried bc i was like "hey, this covers my whole face!" suffice to say it did not go well LOL!
That throw of the torch looked personal 😬
Literally the 1st thing I did with it!
The lesson of this story is:
(1) Do not be yourself
(2) Buy them a drink
(3) Give them a ring
Thanks, video games!
Me: Buys a garland and gives it to the traveler who wants one but has no money
The traveler: **Sees link giving the garland to him** Should I buy one?👁️👄👁️
This is one of most complicated side quests in Zelda series!
I though that was for Link's head and i got really excited 😞
Instructions unclear, I wore a similar eye mask and got thrown to jail
you are frightening the children. that‘s why
omg I physically brought the flowers to gerudo town using a small car and a sleigh seal to the room and it didn't work.
I was so lost as to what they wanted from me, but never thought I needed to fuse it to a shield😅
