There’s a cave in the Hebra region called the “Sturnida Springs Cave” and if you look carefully, you can find a hole in the wall you can crouch to get through and a tunnel leads you to a room full of mushrooms and ice crystals and it’s really pretty I think it’s tied to a side quest too
Oh yeah, the reward for the Akkala House of Bones is the Biggoron's Sword, which was a powerful 2-handed sword from Ocarina of Time's trading quest. Once obtained from the House of Bones, it can be bought from the bargainer statue in exchange for some poes.
You know? The fact that Gloom Spawn appears in Makar Island it's a reference on it's own. In the Wild Waker there is a moment in the Wind Temple where Floormasters (that looks just like Gloom Spawns in this game) appear and take Makar with them to a jail (a mechanic that is used in the Earth Temple as well)
By Rutile Lake next to Satori Mountain, there’s a small hill filled with silent princesses and blue nightshades. There’s also endura carrots scattered around that area. It’s a beautiful spot. Also if you help the Gerudo with the sick husband in Gerudo Valley, they will appear by Rutile lake.
I believe there is a hidden fairy fountain inside the well at Dueling Peaks Stable if you find and go down a couple or a few more wells in the underground system. It is the first fairy fountain I ever found in the BOTW series as a longtime Zelda and Link fan and friend!
There's a ceve in the zorana plateau that has a lot of Hylian ruins inside. It's pretty interesting and also mysterious. It's right where you find a part of the climbing set.
I was exploring in the Faron region today, near Floria Falls. And I discovered a cave called the Rodai Lakefront Tunnel. There's nothing particularly special about the cave. There's a lot of luminous stones and brightbloom seeds. But in the center of it is a deep, massive hole that's pitch black inside. It scared the crap out of me when I accidentally fell in, but once you light it up it looks pretty lol 🤷♀️ There's also the well in Kakariko Village. Inside there's the little maze made out of zonai ruins. And at the end is a little notebook that belonged to Dorian's wife before she died.
indeed, i didn't forget that the Satori Mountain and its spirits are named after Satoru Iwata, the Nintendo CEO who passed away in 2015 (BotW was released in 2017). additionally, the Lord of the Mountain could be based on the Forest Spirit from Hayao Miazaki's Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke), since the teaser trailer for BotW in 2014 was heavily inspired by the intro in Pricess Mononke when Ashitaka was battling the giant boar that was suffering from demonification. there are a handful of references to the movie in BotW and Totk, and i think it's awesome :3
I think the dark skeletons in the depth are pretty cool. There are 3 giant dragon skeletons in the depth. The Gerudo Dark Skeleton is at the south-west cornel of the map, the Dark Hebra Skeleton is at the north-east cornel, and the Eldin Dark Skeleton is north to the fire temple at the edge of the map. I remember first I have found the one under Hebra and followed the bones from the tail to the head in the darkness and I found a treasure in the end. 😉 An other location I think is cool is Birida Lookout and Birida Lookout Chasm. It is the chasm between gerudo town and the yiga hideout. The cool thing is there is a platform at the lookout where you can dive into the chasm and at the bottom there is a small pond you can fall into. Also there are 3 mushroom trees there and at the bottom of them there are a lot of bomb flowers, puffshrooms muddle buds. So it is a good place to put down a travel medalion, and come back regularly to collect the bomb floweres.
There is a really cool location next deepback bay and on the left of Mapla Point. You can find it on accident while doing the quest "A Bottled Cry for help" I find it really cool because the monsters built a base with a Zonai floating brick thing that doesn't float anymore. Plus there are tons of birds and Areocudas. Not only that but the areocudas are carrying Lizalfos so you can't kill them by water or use an eyball because of the large quantity of birds.
If you remember the story of botw, you know the yiga clan hideout. Now, you can go in there with the yiga armor and buy bananas, spikes, and even get the thunder helm.
They even have a journal there describing how they created the lightning helm, even mentioning their past failure to steal the Thunder Helm from Riju in the events of Breath of the Wild
0:59 Mekar Island 1:04 Yay i made it into the video! 2:02 House of Bones 2:47 Cucco Hideaway 3:39 I'd go with the second option 3:47 Mount Floria Cave 4:08 Also how did that get up from the Depths? 4:36 Satori Mountain Pond 5:07 The console died when I encountered gloom hands. Luckily the game loaded me in at my previous spot. 5:18 Tabantha Frontier Depths Giant Root (what a mouthful) 6:05 The Satori Mountain Statue I recommend the Lockup in Hyrule Castle, unless you've already done it. If not, there are gloom hands in the lockup, instead of a Stalnox.
If you go west from Thundra plateau, you can find Mount Rhoam, on Mount Rhoam you can find a tomb stone with a royal Claymore ( the weapon he used for prediction ) which is a pretty cool reference to Zelda s father if you ask me. It was probably in BotW but I’m not sure. Anyways, have a great day.
Go to the very end of the forgotten temple past the toppled goddess statue into the map room. If you look around the circumference of the room you will see 3 sundelions if you go over there and look over the flowers you will see a stone, that stone is identical to sonia’s grave in the “kings duty” memory and there is also a sundelion in front of the grave in the memory so it is probably sonia’s grave
I like how many areas are actually tied to side quests. So it just takes a bit of exploring & also you get a proper reward for it. A great example is tarm point cave, where you have a quest w/ Finley & Sasan. Theyre the zora & hylian we helped set up in botw. & in helping them we also reach a shrine. I feel like that cave is easy to miss bcuz the entrance is a hole in the floor. Also what's interesting is it counts as a side quest, not a shrine quest. If you havent yet could you please use that in a video?
spoiler warning: if you go in the room behind the giant goddess statue in the forgotten temple at -1058, 2698, -0084, you can find a secret "storehouse" for the secret stones. If you go further you can find a map of the geoglyphs with a gigantic light shing down from the ceiling. I think it could have been rauru's "temple of light" since it is hidden behind hylia, the representation of light and a gigantic light beaming down on the map. Also, sonia's grave is in the first room along with the secret stones pedestal
@@KairuHakubi you missed the dragon's tears quest, one of the flashbacks shows it. I think it's the one in the southeast part of the map, near Tingle island
@@mrcombustiblelemon2902 I found the map room, but this guy mentioned a storeroom for the stones? did he get confused while trying to describe what i'm pretty sure was a _group grave_ ?
@@KairuHakubi the geoglyphs unlock flashbacks of Zelda's time in the past, in one of them Rauru opens the door behind the giant statue to show that he stored his secret stones there. In a different flashback, the same room is shown with the Queen's grave in the corner, surrounded by sundelions.
this isn't as much of a location specifically but more of a wierd fact, in each of the 4 corners of the map there is a king gleeok arena, I only recently noticed this while flying around (ignore the fact it was around the ENTIRE map.. I wanted all the bosses and wanted to make sure I got all the sky shrines done) OK, quick edit, there actually isn't one in the top right, there is only 1 above eventide island, 1 above the west gerudo ruins-ish, a little south from there and one above lake kilsie in the hebra area (a little to the west from the bottom of it) the floating arena in the top right is actually a flux constuct III (its right above skull lake if you want to check)
The Broken Heart Mountain (Ebon Mountain) right behind Zelda's House in Hateno Village( 3356, -2482, 0280 ). It has a beautiful blossom tree and gives an incredible view of all of Hateno.
the three dark leviathan skeletons (in the depths) each below a leviathan skeleton, as well as each of the three original leviathan skeletons since the three originals had more added to them, especially the gerudo one. The ones in the depths can be seen on the map if you are having troubles and I think there heads are roughly directly below the three originals. I don't mind if this comment is turned into it's own video on the leviathans or included in a video like this one since I know they are quite a bit on their own. Also I almost called the dark LEVIATHAN skeletons the dark DRAGON skeletons at first, though they are very dragon-like/serpentine-like.
I view them as dragon skeletons. It implies there were others, and that they can be killed. (Which, it can happen). Raises the question if the Zonai had a civil war or fought something else, that could kill a dragon.
I found what, to me, was the coolest little surprise side-quest. Return to the temple of time on big sky island and find a spot to ascend to the very top. There’s a construct who has “been waiting for you” and will reward you with a special story (and a little but cool imo item) for passing its test. You’ll want to have Tulin AND the special Zora-made armor already 👍🏼
If you are going for 100% Map Completion MAKE SURE you get the Second Entrance to the Pit Cave on the Southeast Part of the Great Sky Island in the Snow Area as it is easy to miss.
Yay Im in a video! Not 100 percent sure, but the stable you find pyper has a really cool well which has another wel shaped hole inside it, which has ANOTHER well in it. 2:30 Biggorons sword
In the House of Bones, if you shoot the rock wall with an opal arrow while in bullet time, then glide again, it'll force a blood moon to trigger (no matter the time of day) after seeming to glitch out a little bit. I know it does in older versions of the game, I'm not sure about newer versions. I'm still running an older version of the game.
You should check out the zNorth Akkala Beach Cave. Its located on the beach next to the akkala tech lab to the east of it and the cave goes under the ocean!
lol, just found that one last night and after exploring the cave for a while, I ascended to find myself in the ocean! It was quite amusing and thankfully not too far out, which is good as link sucks so badly at swimming.
The tree roots in the depths aren't tree roots they are the equivalent to caves on the surface as part of low is high, high is low mechanic. Also, bridges like the one at the entrance to tarrey Town become tunnels in the depths
Right above the satori foothill cave entrance next to Dalits forest there’s a pretty little spot with mushrooms and a wild boar. It’s really beautiful. In botw in the same place there are rocks, but not in TotK.
Over in the Akala region, in the ocean near the zonai maze, you'll find a small fleet of enemy ships, with multiple zonai devices on each ship. Each ship also has a ladder to climb up on, implying that Bokoblins and Boss Bokoblins can climb up objects, but they still drown if you knock thrm off the ship
Oh jeez, iwata was my fav Nintendo employee and I even made him into a mii on tomodachi life on the 3ds. That last bit of the video almost got me crying 😢
The house of bones can be used to force a blood moon simply use an explosive gem (preferably opal due to low value) with a multishot( preferably 5 burst for 1 shot if not then you have to shoot 2) bow on the breakable wall to force a blood moon any time you want its very useful for octoroks for repairing weapons
If u go to the sturnida cave in Hebra by the sturnida hot springs, and go south for a bit, there should be a little tunnel to go into and if u go far enough, u should reach a really pretty cave!
You can find the lord of the mountain by placing a fruit under the tree that is infront of the shrine that is to the right of the shrine in hyrule center in totk
the sheild surfing thing that you do to get a shrine. above the lanayru range theres a sky island and if you go there without getting the shrine connected to it theres a small ( i wana say... minigame?) thing that you do that kinda like the skydiving ones but its not reapeatable and your sheild surfing instead. im sorry if this would be a problem to you if you decide to do it
The satori lake in this video is nothing compared to the Rutile Lake nearby to the southwest. The coordinates are -2537, -0628, and 0202. This lake has the same concentration of creatures as the previous lake but it’s a bigger lake which means more creatures. Plus there are three korok seed’s around here too.
Idk if anyone is curious where blupees disappear after caves. There is a location in the depths that is called Blupee Burrow with a blossom tree and little burrows for then to hide out it, it's a very peaceful and eerie place honestly would recommend checking that out! I don't have the exact location but it's next to the napanos lightroot with the overworld shrine is Sonapan
About the satori one, in the opening of the game you can see seven secret stones. One for each of the sages, making six, and one for the satori, (rauru’s stone doesn’t count as the stone zelda picks up in the opening is raurus stone.) so interesting that this is the only sage that was reincarnated. Satori, sage of nature.
Found mount floria very early on in the game because I recalled it being the thief’s hide out from botw. Very cool early game path to traverse to get to Faron early
The thing inside Satori mountain is definitely a deer. The parts on each side of its head are ears, not horns or antlers. It's a doe, not a buck. The shape of the head is nothing like Satori. This isn't to say it couldn't be a memorial to Satori's original form. It could be.
I like your explanation of the statue at the end, and it could totally make since. But, when I was there and discovered it I looked at the statue from the SIDE, and I think it is a Bunny 🐇 statue. Look at it again and see what you think. From the side angle it almost looks exactly like one of the chocolate bunnies you would get during Easter, I believe it is the Dove’s brand.
Ok so I’m going to try and explain this and I don’t know if you already covered this spot but when you enter Sturnida Springs Cave you will take a left and drop down there will be a boulder you can find with master hand and move it to the side go through the tunnel and ther will be a fake dead end if you look closely you can keep moving forward and in there is a pretty spot with a type of brighter luminous stones but made of ice around the room with a bunch of mushrooms that you can grab
If you go to the hot spring that is ob the north from Rito Villige you'll find a cave, inside there is a rock standing that can be moved. I'll open a path to veeery cool place with glowing ice
It’s Satori’s Tomb under that pond, kind of like and emperors tomb it’s another homage to him, Nintendo saying breath of the wild was paying respect and TOTK is giving him peace and legacy
Not to be included in the video cause I don't want to look for coordinates but behind death mountain in the depths there is a yoga hideout that is a spiky maze, its cool and I recommend going
when you drop into the house of bones Before you get the lightroot it is legit terrifying

You can find the lord of the mountain by placing a fruit under the tree that is infront of the shrine that is to the right of the shrine in hyrule center in totk
Wait, u can ride satori in totk? I only saw him appear when he makes caves apprar.🤷♀️
this is my first video of the series, but did you cover the giant bargainer statue underneath the forgotten temple in the depths?
This was the first video that most i hadn't seen!
the sheild surfing thing that you do to get a shrine. above the lanayru range theres a sky island and if you go there without getting the shrine connected to it theres a small ( i wana say... minigame?) thing that you do that kinda like the skydiving ones but its not reapeatable and your sheild surfing instead. im sorry if this would be a problem to you if you decide to do it
The statue in Sarori Mountain looks like Rauru to me
At 1:22 I actually thought Link was sitting on the rock and I was like "HOW DID YOU DO THAT???"
House of Bones gives the Biggoron Sword.
can you keep that satori horse after you tame/soothe it?
You can go into the deku trees face , you just need to go inside of it and use ascend
Already been covered sorry
@@Switchgamer-c4u o OK thanks for telling me
Idk if anyone is curious where blupees disappear after caves.
TYSM for including mine in your video!
Also, I believe (Though not confirmed) Cucco is pronounced: Coo-Coe.
Where did you find that long hair of link? Is that amiiboo?
Found mount floria very early on in the game because I recalled it being the thief’s hide out from botw. Very cool early game path to traverse to get to Faron early
In the final boss room if you hydro clip under the ground you can visit Gannon’s throne without triggering the cutscene
The thing inside Satori mountain is definitely a deer. The parts on each side of its head are ears, not horns or antlers. It's a doe, not a buck. The shape of the head is nothing like Satori.
This isn't to say it couldn't be a memorial to Satori's original form. It could be.
I can tell you like your animals
cant see a deer there, It is a snail to me
What’s the track from playing in the background?
I think it's from Twilight Princess night time.
I like your explanation of the statue at the end, and it could totally make since. But, when I was there and discovered it I looked at the statue from the SIDE, and I think it is a Bunny 🐇 statue. Look at it again and see what you think. From the side angle it almost looks exactly like one of the chocolate bunnies you would get during Easter, I believe it is the Dove’s brand.
there is a gibdo graveyard around under the lightning temple in the depths !
have you talked about the rist mine? because if not i can tell you where it is.
I missed out on Dracozu’s Altar in the Depths, I didn’t know about that area. I’m still trying to find the rest of the areas, I’m up to 75%-100% now.
Dueling peaks stable well. A three layered well. With cool pools of water at the bottom.
The Iwata one hurts but i also hope the add one for Reggie every thought he still around
Ok so I’m going to try and explain this and I don’t know if you already covered this spot but when you enter Sturnida Springs Cave you will take a left and drop down there will be a boulder you can find with master hand and move it to the side go through the tunnel and ther will be a fake dead end if you look closely you can keep moving forward and in there is a pretty spot with a type of brighter luminous stones but made of ice around the room with a bunch of mushrooms that you can grab
mount floria cave connect to the small waterfall on the other side where miskos treasure was in botw
Did you know all shrines and light roots are connected ! So where’s there’s a shrine there will be a light root below it. Vice Versa to
The reward from killing the Stlanox is a big Goran sword
If you go to the hot spring that is ob the north from Rito Villige you'll find a cave, inside there is a rock standing that can be moved. I'll open a path to veeery cool place with glowing ice
Got me crying in the maccas with the last one
“There’s nothing really special, or a quest or important in this area” How I felt throughout the whole effing game lol.
The reward for the house of bones is the biggoron sword
It’s Satori’s Tomb under that pond, kind of like and emperors tomb it’s another homage to him, Nintendo saying breath of the wild was paying respect and TOTK is giving him peace and legacy
i am still running the original v1 version of this game. love it
Never played botw, so this game was awe inspiring
I know what you get from the treasure chest in the house of bones it is biggorons sword (60 durability and 36 damage!)
3:35 it is, in fact, _kokko._ so I guess fried chicken is.. hot coco.
6:33 I think it's some sort of slug.
Not to be included in the video cause I don't want to look for coordinates but behind death mountain in the depths there is a yoga hideout that is a spiky maze, its cool and I recommend going
