As a minor correction with wing despawn, their durability timer runs down when they're generating lift, which causes the little white air trails to come off the tips of the wings. Flying them backwards doesn't generate lift, but the wings really want to fly right-side-up and forward, as you noticed. However, the lift generated by 1x balloon and 1x 45° fan is sufficient to override the lift of a wing, meaning you can fly it forward without it despawning so long as you have that much lift.

When you fuse a star fragment to a weapon, the balls of light it shoots out illuminate the darkness really brightly. This means you can explore the depths REALLY well when you shoot out the balls of light. It's helped me a bunch.
(something i forgot to mention is it only really helped me really early, and even then, as cool as it is, its kind of a waste to the point where it might as well do nothing, brightblooms are just way better to use overall.)

Ehh, I prefer to stick to throwing Brightbloom Seeds or firing them off arrows, myself. I’ve never had problems with shortage of those, and I never really felt the Star Rod’s temporary orbs of light were worth spending a Star Fragment and a weapon slot on either, so even when I found Star Rods I just took them to Tarrey Town to disassemble them, add the Fragment to my stock and use the Magic Rod for something else

The korok autobuild especially comes in handy if you’re using a hoverbike bc their placement can make it difficult to control. Also along with Tulin pumping if you’re wearing the diving suit you can quickly dive then hit X to cancel right before hitting B, so it’s just R-X-B real quick, and you get crazy speed.

  • @armie4172
    @armie4172 3 месяца назад +2

If you’re in a really dark part of the depths and don’t know if the ground is suddenly going to fall away, the star fragment wand does come in handy to show where the best place to shoot a bright bloom is for instance. Pretty niche, but it can be useful early on when you don’t have hundreds of bright blooms in stock. I also always equip a luminous Talus heart shield in the unexplored depths for light if I don’t want to change armor.

    - Throwing water on urself to withstand heat also works with Sidon's bubble. I'm guessing this also contributes to certain weapon bonuses.
    - Fuse a cannon to a lance/spear and press throw button and now you can aim and shoot FPS style.
    - There are small metal square platforms in the sky islands that are great to build flying devices specially to gain height.
    - Dazzlefruit instakills bone enemies. not sure if it was mentioned.
    - Rock Octoroks repair weapons except for special or legendary weapons, unless you fuse those to regular weapons then they will get repaired. Shields and bows can also be repaired. Magic rods cannot be repaired.
    - Attaching different things to boomerangs will have different cool effects when thrown, but some items are just too heavy and wont let you throw boomerangs at all just use them as melee.
    - Idk who needs to know but you can cook pizza. 🍕 nothing special about it but its kinda nice lol.

The scope is also a handy way to orient yourself through the sand shrouds in Gerudo Desert: you can go above them on an updraft or something, pull out your scope in midair and pin the place you want to go to, or some landmark in that general direction. Then when you land, you can pull out your scope again on the ground and you’ll be able to see your pin, even through the sand shroud

Here's a silly little tip. If you use a wood bundle to power a hot air balloon, and then soak the bundle (i.e. by landing in water), the wood will still be able to be picked up back into your inventory. Here's some more...
    - Use Forest Dweller's weapons alongside Brightbloom Seeds, Puffshrooms and more if you're running low on these items. Fuse Recycling allows certain consumable materials to regenerate and be used again.
    - This is more of a carry over from BoTW, but generally, the ultimate weapon against Lynels is a Royal Guard's Claymore with a White Lynel Sabre Horn fused to it, on its last hit. It combines the Critical Hit from breaking and the Breaking Point property for extreme damage whilst also being reusable when mounted on a Lynel. Also when mounting a Lynel, you can't take damage from using Gloom weapons.
    - Star Fragments fused to shields and gems fused to magic rods provide a decent amount of light in the Depths or dark caves.

A tip that I have is, if you have a wide enough updraft, you can get a horizontal as well as a vertical boost if you have tulin's ability available.
The easiest way to do this of course is use yunobo's power to create an updraft, then start gliding and use tulin's as soon as possible. By the time you land, yunobo's power will be almost fully charged ready for another updraft.

One thing to add to the Lynel roars cannot destroy treasure chests; the U-shaped blocks from the Construct Factor are also unbreakable.
Additionally, for one-shot protection, it's not just specific enemies that can ignore it; any attack damage over a certain threshold (20 damage or 5 full hearts over your effective max HP) will bypass it and one-shot you regardless of full HP or not. Physical attacks with an elemental damage (think a Boko using a wooden stick that is on fire, or any elemental weapon) also bypasses it due to being 2 sources of damage (the element and the physical attack). Armor, hearty food and defense food can further bolster your one-shot protection since the game checks for net damage on max HP+overheal, not raw damage on overall max HP.

Thank you for collecting these, definitely a few I didn't know!
My top tips (story spoilers on tip 6)
You can use recall on Rock Like boulders to instantly break their armour.
An ice wand is a great way to collect skittish critters like sticky lizards.
The legendary Gerudo sabre (forgot its name, the upgraded one) has the same attack doubling effect as the regular one, making for very strong weapons.
The Lightscale Trident gains double attack when wet. Splash fruit are plentiful. :)
Mark the locations of rare ore stones on your map! They regenerate!
Mineru's arms can break ores and boxes without needing to fuse anything to them, saving durability.

    • @Stinkyremy
      @Stinkyremy 4 дня назад

What is the one about skittish creatures like sticky lizards?
If they fall in the water do they still despawn.
They are the hardest to collect and seeing they are often over water carrying an ice rod specifically for them seems a bit of a waste or a slot if they still despawn. iirc when I last played I just used dazlefruit on arrows.

As far as I know, you can't exactly "farm" dragon parts in this game due to the cooldown of I think 10 minutes. If you are just wanting the parts of one dragon, just ride it till it's horns and spikes start to glow again. While doing this, you can also use stamps on the map to mark its pathway for future use. Repeat this with the other dragons and do whatever works best for you! (Light dragon is weird though, it has multiple paths I believe, but I could be wrong as I haven't even done this.)
You can get claws, horns, scales by hitting those on the dragon. From what I have been told and done, Fangs are best got if you shoot the mouth, but more towards the lower lip of the dragon because sometimes going for the upper lip will get something else.

Great video. Already knew the majority but the few tips I didn’t know are definitely gonna be a big help. Especially the trick with moving material to the front of most used.
I’ll give my own tip like every one else seems to be doing even tho it’s probably basic by now lol but I’m at the point where I’m just going around looking for the last hundred or so koroks so some times running into mobs can be quite annoying. Especially multiple silver enemies. I make sure to keep a flurry rushed enhanced ice weapon (I like the halberds for this personally but the result isn’t much different for other types) and it destroys any silver monster in I wanna say 3 hits. Could be more hits than that, but it’s definitely no more than 5. As for the fusion material I usually use the ice gleeok horn so the effect stays on. Pristine Flurry Rush weapon + Ice Gleeok Horn is one of my fav fusions.
