    Stephen A is correct about the ball movement in Boston. They don't almost ever get 30 assists in a game due to the isolation nature of their most talented scorers. But when those guys sit and Payton Pritchard puts up 30 points and 10 assists, the ball moves more. I'm not worried about some injuries in Boston at least for the next series. Our bench could use some time and could help us out.

    • @Christopher._M
      @Christopher._M 25 дней назад

      @@AnonymousUser-ss2qrthe real issue is none of the current big threes have the right balance and the current big threes are not as talented as the previous ones.
      The Miami big three wasn't just three all-star level players.
      It was 3 all NBA level players.
      LeBron being first team and maybe the best playerin the world Wade being at worse second team and probably and as high as #3/4
      And Bosh being a 2nd or 3rd team player and a top 9-15 player.
      You compare that to what people right now consider Superteams and it falls short by a lot.
      For example KD is second team and either 4-10th best player in the world.
      Booker is third team and either the 10-15th best player In the world
      Beal is a like 60th.
      That's not a Superteam. People just see the names and scoring averages and say it is but it's not.
      Not only is it not comparable in talent to previous superteams. It's a pretty bad fit compared to the Superteams.
      Also the league just has way more talent top to bottom. So that gap between the top players and average players has shrunk.
      So having 5 great players is absolutely necessary these days

      Addressing your point-- it's obvious and goes without saying that Boston is the better team even without Porzingas, I'm not sure, but it seems you assumed I didn't realize that.
      I was also using sarcasm because they beat the Nuggets by 40 and that kind of skewed my perception about them. The game was "traumatizing" (sarcasm).
      I can acknowledge that a small window of opportunity has opened up for them, but also realize that Boston is more likely to win. Both things can be true at the same time.
      I'm rooting for NY, but would put my money on Boston.

    There is one positive with the injury of Porzingis and that is Mazzulla will get fired if they do not make it out of the east, especially if they do not make it past the next round.

    Stephen A pretends to be objective when in reality hes the polar opposite. "Lebron had to go to Miami to get his first, Jordan and Curry stayed and built their teams up" hmmmm almost as if the front office/owners of both organisations were component lead by two of the top 5 greatest coaches to ever exist in basketball (Steve Kerr and Phill Jackson) whilst LeBron had Dan Gilbert and a bunch of nobody's. You can say that about KD because OKC were a well functioning organisation and had a MVP caliber player (Westbrook) but you can't categorise Bron with him. Context is everything.

    Stephen A is spot on about Boston. When the 2 stars play the offense stagnates, when one sits, the ball moves more. When Boston moves the ball with the shooting they have, they can beat anybody. They could win the chip. Problem is. The 2 stars iso wayyyyy to much and slow down the pace. It’s been a problem for years.

    What I HATE about the Steph, LBJ & KD conversation is LBJ, although the oldest & most accomplished has another 10 player in AD w/him. KD has Booker & Beal w/him. Steph has who!? A washed Klay!? A semi washed Draymond, who's gathering more ejections via violent outbursts to the detriment of his team the more washed he gets!? Wiggins who had a BRIEF awakening being the 2nd best player on their Championship team 2yrs ago but now looks a G League Bench Player!? Steph is fighting the biggest uphill battle, both other teams & his own teammates😒😢

    • @Christopher._M
      @Christopher._M 25 дней назад +1

      Steph has the best supporting cast. If you think of Draymond, Klay, Wiggins, and kuminga as your 3-6 role players and put a second star next to Curry he has a hell of a squad.
      What he lacks is a second star and a back up big.
      KD has the worst supporting cast as in role players and the team overall is a horrible fit. What his team lacks is a mobile center and instead of having 4 SG and no bench. The suns needed a decent back up PG. A great wing defender and a Mobile center.
      Not Beal and Nurkic.
      Lebron's team is probably the most complete team. The issue is LeBron is old and can't run the offense for 40+ minutes and defend.
      So he needs a SG upgrade that can run some offense and shoot.

    There is no way these dudes watch the games. The Celtics are 21-4 without KP. Tatum and Brown do not just take turns playing iso ball. Tatum is averaging a playoff career high in assists and has completely solved the famous Miami Zone. He’s picking it apart like a surgeon, meticulously inviting the double and triple team and finding the open guy to swing it for an open 3. He’s consistently making the correct play. He’s been the quarterback of the offense but y’all don’t know anything about ball so I can understand how you don’t see it when you watch… if you watch
