I had to wait in line for 2 hours at the Orlando airport. I was told the vehicle wasn't available. Waited an hour and surprise 🎉 the vehicle was available. 2 days later, their was a gas vapor smell inside the cabin of the Jeep. Customer service told me to return it, with the gas vapor smell, to the airport. We were in Miami. I chose to have the vehicle towed. Getting another vehicle was a nightmare. I will never rent from Budget again. Customer service was a nightmare.
We had to stand in line for 3 hours to get our BUDGET rent a car. When we went out to the lot to get it, there were no employees there. The car we requested was not there. We had to take a much different car. When returning the car. It took a while to find someone to help us in the lot. The signs were not clear as to where to take the car. There were about 30 cars ahead of us to return the car. A totally bad experience. Next time, a different company.
for me the only bad thing about returning a budget car at RSW was how far away it was from the Southwest terminal. those seashells got real heavy, real fast 🤣
Avis hit me for €50 at BRU because my kids tracked a little cut grass into the back footwells. I had dropped off night before flight home - should have seen look on their face when I showed up at counter to contest the charge (which they removed).
Some how this video popped up and i decided to watch. Makes me wonder who is listening to my conversations ... I rented in LA 2 weeks ago and got a letter saying I smoked in the car and I have to pay 450.00 . Thing is, WE DO NOT smoke,. The car was dirty when we picked it up but we did not complain we were just ready to get out of there. Nothing i can do they said , You have to pay! Said they had pictures of ashes. But from what I dont know cause like i said we do not smoke.I am so upset ,i will never rent another car from them again. This is some kind of scam they got going on.
Call again and keep complaining. Don’t give up.

Did you report the dings prior to taking the car? If not, how do you know they won't charge you for them after you return the car and leave?
Did everything go all right after you return the car what did they try to scam you again for damages or anything like that
I have not received any letters yet so I think I’m good. Remember the last time they tried to scam me, they sent the cleaning letter months after I returned the car.
all these companies seem the same, the reviews are all the same with people getting scammed by these. it's honestly making it really tough to choose a company to rent from, they all seem to revolve around loop holes within their documents and testing to see if you contest against a claim or just pay them. I would hope that the governments crack down on them or something... at least something needs to be done about their blatant scamming.
