A Edger will double your sawmill production 💰

  • Adding a edger will for sure double your production. Not only taking less work on you but your mill. You can have your helpers split the lumber and your off to a new log. I wouldn’t recommend a edger with under a 4” opening. This will give you the ability to split 4x6 material. And also multiply boards at once.

I've always said that the edger man has the most important job when you're sawing grade hardwood lumber he can make you or break you

Good afternoon buddy. I sure would like to start my own saw mill. I could cover the equipment but wouldn’t have a clue to get one started. I wouldn’t know what to charge, where to setup shop, what to charge, how to find customers and so on. Hope you and your family have a blessed Sunday.

I’m planning some new videos just haven’t had time to produce them yet on milling.
It’s been a great day thus far. Spending it with family and church. How’s your day going?
You should get that villain and let’s team up for a video!

@@americandream_89 That’s great. No worries bc I know that your busy. My day is going well also. I’ll see what the Segway cost first? Lol. Would like to team up on a video with you for sure.
I’m thinking just bc I’m an amputee doesn’t mean I can’t do anything. I’d like more of a purpose out of life than I have now. Thank you for all of the videos that you do. My dog has definitely come around more since her training. I’ve always trained my dogs that I’ve had over the years but with her all I knew was that she was a stray when I adopted her. She’s a tree walking coonhound. I don’t know her age, history or b-day. I love her very much and I give her a great life and home.

@@ethanh9535 God has a purpose for everyone. We are all made in his image and you may be an amputee but your life is worthy. I’m thankful for every time you comment and reach out. Keep your head up and stay positive.
I’ve never dealt with a dog of that kind. But even people when they go through trauma tend to be reserved some more than others. You keep being good and the bad will go away in her mind.

@@americandream_89 Amen brother! Thank you for that. I’m thankful for you always replying back to me and helping me. My dog and I have become a lot closer together and she gives me kisses as well as sleeping in bed with me right next to my head. Lol. She likes to cuddle with me. My first time with this breed as well bc I’ve had boxers prior. I really like Philippians 4:13 and John 14:27.
Someday we meet, I’ll explain my testimony and what happened to me. It’s an amazing story.

What is the manufacturer and model edger you have? Also. How wide can you put in it? Does it have 2 blades, 3 or 4? Thx. Enjoy your vids

It’s a Logmaster with one fixed blade the other moves. It will take up to 22” width. Thanks

Yes sir. It’s been behind 3 sawmills in its life. Hammering out lumber for over 30000hours.
I truly wish Woodmizer would open the thickness capacity on edgers. It gives you so much more ability.

Sorry you feel that way. Basically if you had to split those on the mill it would take you twice as long. By having to saw them further down. The edger clears the bark and makes correct sizing. Giving the mill opportunity to move onto the next log.

This video was a waste of time. I didn't see what the machine did and the video was everywhere.
