Those were some nice looking boards. The "Sawmill Queens" have done it again! Memento Vivere.
I think it’s cool that you not only do the work, but have an appreciation for the beauty of products you produce.
Thanks!
Beautiful old pin oak cut up by beautiful young girls. The grain was outstanding and a great job of quarter sawing.
Now that is some beautiful wood!
That would make some beautiful cabinets, bar tops and furniture!
Beautiful grain in that log
gorgeous....and the cut lumber is nice too
Amazing oak log. Heavy duty. And beautiful log. Perfect to make a table out of it
The skill of the operator is what can really bring out the beauty of a log. Excellent job.
Beautiful grain that made me smile. Nice job.
Wow, that is some beautiful wood. thanks for sharing.
Tiger grained oak! Noice ❤️😁 as a carpenter I'm always envious of your work.👍😎❤️😁
Amazing patterns in the timber
Hello from Dublin Fire Brigade, Ireland. Love your video's and love that you girls are so talented
These portable sawmills are truly ingenious devices...
That was one impressive log!
Really nice wood!
The music during the video was great and that oak grain was really nice. Thanks for sharing this with us that watch your channel. Outstanding work young lady.
Stunning grain patterns and ray flecks from that yard
I hope it will be used for custom furniture and not used for a chicken coup
Nice job Emerald and Jade! Really Nice Grain Patterns.
beautiful work Emerald love the craftmanship
Emerald that was the most gorgeous lumber I have seen. You are right about the grain pattern the color is breathtaking 😮. Thanks for your great video as usual.
That is a very beautiful log.
Great camera work showing the personality in the wood
WOW! That was incredibly beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!!
Your Dad and brother's logging practices (not clear cutting) and you ladies milling practices lead to a sustainable and pretty product line. Your video production is top notch too, Emerald.
I haven’t seen the brother (Zack?) in a video in a long time.
Every time you showed the cut wood I was thinking it's the prettiest ever seen. Did you ask how the owner intends to use it? Good video.
I would love to know how they are gonna use it.
It IS beautiful, but that stuff is so unstable, I don't know what they could actually use it for.
I would have had you cut it 3/8 thick, and used it as veneer for cabinet doors. Maybe even 1/4
Yes your right Emerald it is beautiful wood !
My daily doze of my chocolate 😍. good to watch u at the end of the day.
Great video. Beautiful wood. Praying for.a.full.recovery of.your.right arm/hand. God Bless and be safe.
Great job Emerald and Jade.
Ill bet grandpa could come up with a trough and auger or small convayer attached to the side of the building past the corner to carry the sawdust out to your buggy. It would save you some time and effort for sawdust cleanup. Love your work ethic. Congrats to your parents.
Oh my some pretty wood.
WOW ... what a beautiful Log !!! Your Customer will be VERY pleased.
That was incredible! Thanks for another great video 💯
Grain is stunning in that qtr sawn.
Early for this one, knowledgeable girls
Well done as usual, subscribers are on the up well deserved.
Going up the value scale with your logs.. Great
That was so awesome ❤
What character those boards have. Beautimous
Take a 4 ft section of that oak ,sand it add a light clear coat to bring out the colors and the pattern and hang it on the wall. That is Mother Natures artwork at her finest. Thanks Em and Jade for sharing that beautiful wood with us.
Add legs and you have a nice live edge table as well. Of course a lot happens to the wood during the drying process.
Beautiful 😍
that wood will make some fine woodworking craft project stand out.
Wow. I wouldn't have imagine such amazing grain patterns from a quarter sawn pin oak log.
Man, that was pretty wood!
Excellent work! Thanks for sharing.
That was some beautiful wood I couldn't believe how beautiful it was thank you for showing this video
yes! another fine video from some very fine folks! it's always good to see you but, what a treat! some of the most beautiful wood grain i've ever seen! i'd love to get my hands on a few boards from that log. the beautiful things i could craft from them........
thanks, me lovely! see you next time!
Those are beautiful slabs!
Oh my. That wood was so beautiful. I'm jealous. I would love to have some of those boards. I'll bet that customer is very happy! Obviously not for trailer flooring, but exquisite furniture. Great job cutting for him/her.
Some of the boards looked like a map of Grand Canyon from NG in the 80s! Would make a very expensive dinner table.
keep up the great work ladies. I'm a pipe welder by trade and I always enjoy seeing women work in a male dominated field. Much respect to you girls!
That was a Beautiful lumber log. Never seen anything like it. Love to find unusual grain patterns.
You keep putting out quality and wholesome videos Emerald! Always a pleasure for those of us who wait to see the next days topic that you amazingly put together. "Keep on, keeping on!"
I'm in the Yukon Territory of Canada. We have lots of trees, but only very few species - still recovering after the ice age. I love watching the milling of the hardwoods - and appreciate the magic you find in them. & I lived a long and loud (and happy) work life so have a hard time following US regional accents. Emerald speaks very clearly and I can understand exactly what she is saying. All the best, and I appreciate your videos greatly.
Looks so cool!
In England this is sometimes called Tiger Oak - very good for turned bowls and plates. Beautiful!
That's a nice piece of oak with a nice grain. Whatever that gets made into is going to look really good.
Nice looking planks. I know a lot of the Europeans who watch are envious! We have an awful lot of Pin Oak growing here in Maryland & Pennsylvania. Lots get bull dozed away for more housing & development. Plenty of Willow Oak, White Oak & more. I turn garden tool handles from larger limbs that we trim.
I have been watching the Lumber Capital videos from the very first posting. First time posting. Absolutely beautiful mill job. Em just cut some awesome planks out of that log. I build furniture. I want some. Damn, nice job.
Quartersawn oak and quartersawn sycamore are both beautiful wood.
AWESOME grain and figuring! WOW!
That is some pretty wood!
The wood is beautiful ...in terms of the cut ,it is very fine ,you can make a table because there are many patterns ☺️
Emerald, you were right, it was a great piece of wood. Someone can make something beautiful out of it. Good job!
Can't get enough of these amazing log yard videos!
Your getting pretty good at selecting the right music for your video's.i watch your channel because I absolutely love wood products and timber/lumber is just a beautiful thing to work with your hands .watching from Australia, thumbed up and subbed 👍.
beautiful oak!
That is truly beautiful pin oak lumber! Nice job with it!
Wow, yeah that was really nice to see. Amazing patterns n such like you stated Em.
And, as per usual, you gals did a fantastic job quartering 'er up. God bless you and family.
☺️👍
Sweet patterns !
That is some beautiful lumber, love the run of the grain has it's own caritor for sure.
Thank you, I really enjoyed this video on quarter sawing oak. Please do more videos on the 'how to' of lumber. Suggestions; as a lumberjack what is the Boss looking for when he is deciding which tree to harvest and which tree not, how he sees trees grow and what makes for a good harvest, as sawyers how do you read a log to get the best looking cuts to mill wood to be used for special purposes. Please explain more the science of wood and how it moves and changes during curing and what we as consumers should be watching for as we buy wood for different types of projects. ThanX, Dan
Absolutely gorgeous wood! Hopefully the owner will use it for something that will showcase that beauty.
That's some of the prettiest Red oak I've ever seen!
Agree. Absolutely beautiful wood. Great job!!!!!
That's what she said.
I like this. It is relaxing and interesting to see how the seasons influence the industry. Great work Em, Jade, bosses and the rest of the family team.
That's the kind of log that you want to make furniture for your great-granchildren out of.
I didn`t know pin oak was any part red oak. You are great teachers.
Beautiful oak, sweet operator and swamper nice star shot of the yesterday's birthday boy. Fantastic video. I thank you.
A real live gem!!
Absolutely beautiful...
Gorgeous wood too!
Both the colors and grain pattern on this oak looked amazing. Well done.
Strangely cathartic to watch the wood being sawn.
Holy smokes awesome
I agree. That wood has some beautiful yet crazy grain designs. Absolutely beautiful.
RUclips recommended this channel to me, it has beautiful music and a lovely presenter. I have just subscribed to it.
Quercus palustris. One of the most incredible oaks in north America
Thank you emerald for always teaching us something new I appreciate you an your knowledge..keep making the great content that you an your family make....much love and aloha 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Amazing how beautiful the wood turned out.
Amazing, Beautiful wood grain patterns. Would love to see how/where this pin oak is used.
Incredible characters in the quarter sawn pin oak 😊
I liked the music in this one. Cool lucking lumber.
That answers my question from the other day , thanks . Yep, nice figure in that run of boards. I cut a big cherry on the LT 30 in 1994 up in the Adirondacks and the figure looked like flames from a fire and some like fern leaves. The final product was made into raised panels that were installed around a stone fireplace .
Beautiful wood !!
Wow you can use that to make a bunch of really cool guitars😎
Cool looking grain! I'll bet you're thankful for the mild January weather while working in the log yard. I know it's not so good for Boss Man in the woods with the ground being unfrozen, though.
Awesome grain shots
Pin Oaks usually grow up so high and fork. Cutting them down to keep the fork area from splitting the log is fun. I found to fall them into other trees and let them roll or twist their way to the ground.
I agree, that is really nice, nice grain, would like to have some of that.
absolutely gorgeous lumber. No idea what the slab market is in your area, but 2" live edge slabs would go for $200 - 400 apiece in NC
