Hi Emerald, I just wanted t take time to thank you for you and "The Boss" taking time out of your busy work day to speak with me. I truly enjoyed seeing the operation and meeting ya'll....truly impressed
Cherry, cherry. Nice fine-grain texture in a long cherry slab. A colorful hardwood for that special project.
Ladies, beautiful cherry slabs! 8 quarter, I believe? I see beautiful woodwork ahead.
Emerald, you and your sister are some of the best advertising your family business could ask for. Here again while operating as the family business, you have simultaneously showcased a potential custom cutting operation to create a value added log among your varied skills. Ever take a moment and splash some water on a nice cut like to bring out the character? Try a good sized burl sometimes if you havent already. -Bob...
Oh come on online one minute and you already have 30 likes.? How am I ever going to be number one. LOL. I do so enjoy your productions... Thank for sharing your world.
Thanks Paul for watching…Boss Man.
@@KenBreon You appear to have Done Good Old Man. My pleasure, Sir.
My dad made a six drawer and 12 drawer dresser and a matching sewing cabinet out of that. Cherry and it does age. Very nice.
If you think about it, ask Grandpa if he remembers when that outfit came down from New York state. Went to Bradford cross 6 to Towanda and wanted the black walnut roots for gun stocks in whatever else it was in the late '60s. Then they went up to Binghamton across in Elmira and that area. I'd like to see some of that work. Thanks. Great job. Stay well, stay safe
The quality of your videos, your storytelling, photography, editing is always outstanding. Easy to see that a job well done runs through everything you all do.
I hope that you ladies are getting some schools trade credits for your ever evolving channel productions.
You do a wonderful job and have produced attention getting videos that are so interesting to watch.
Great work.😁
Well said.
Well done! Cherry 🍒 is one of the finest woods there is. It is one of the very few woods that age with a natural pleasing patina. To stain cherry is like hooking a horse trailer onto a Corvette. Thankfully it is a renewable resource that many future generations can enjoy.
Well said. Thank you for the comment…Boss Man.
Only if they replant what they cut
Very nice personal touch with the story about the banana table that The Boss made.
Hello everybody , always love the look of the cherry slabs 👍🏼☕️☕️☕️❤️🇺🇸👍🏼 remember our veterans on this Pearl Harbor Memorial Day 😊
Add a center bunker to the deck. Even a temporary one would do.
Kudos to your parents for raising such wonderful children. And for another excellent video and proving genz can actually have a work ethic. You all work hard and it shows!
Thanks for the kind comment. Happy Holidays…Boss Man.
@@KenBreon and a happy Chrismahannaukwanzaa to you and yours.
@@scubaseas1 - It sounds like a holiday you just made up......😐

Cherry is the best. I still have a cherry walking stick I carved 20 years ago.
it's inspiration for building a bar / cabinet with speakers and carved trim.
Very pretty piece of wood and I understand cherries pretty hard too 👍😉
That cherry wood is So pretty Omg love to see that sanded and light to clear stain to bring it out thanks ladies . What lovely table or counter top it could be or chair out it Wow.
That's some beautiful cherry! Looking forward to seeing the flame maple tomorrow!
As a custom Builder (retired) and an avid woodworker for the past 30 years, I can say with confidence that I would have been thrilled to have had access to someone with a small mill operation such as yours.
I’d be happy hiring a set of young kids with such a good work ethic, like these girls. No matter the industry or business.
Thanks for another well done video ladies!
Love to you guys, listen to the Boss and his thinking process, and Mama Boss for her clear, no-nonsense explanations of doing things. Between you and Jade, I feel lazy if I don't get 10 hrs work done in 5. LOL. Thanks for the video. And hey, that placement of the grabber is really working out!
Thanks James for the comment…Boss Man.
Very pretty multi-coloured cherry. Excellent gauging on the saw. The final piece was exactly the same thickness. That is not always easy to plan. I am impressed.
Sullivan county and Northern Lycoming county have the Worlds best Cherry trees and the lumber from the Cherry logs .
Some sawers use a 12" or 14" drywall knife to clean off the saw dust from the board , it is faster than a brush and then they put water on the board to show the color of the wood better .
Should saw some of that kind of stuff in thicker sizes for table top and shelves , maybe 1 1/2" - 2" - 3" .
Probably a higher dollar board when killin dry .
Some times logs that look the worst will make the neatest boards with wild grain and make holes too .
That grain 👀natures beauty at its best so much more than just a tree!💎well done young Jedi🤺 🕶🪓🚜🙏🎄
I'd rather watch the videos with hardwoods than the hemlock, personally, so, heck yeah! Bring on the hard stuff!
That was fantastic ladies. Cherry is beautiful wood and will work for many projects. Great video as always. Thank you.👍👍♥️
Nice job in operating the loader like a pro
Live edge Hardwood slabs may be a good niche market for you guys.
Keep up the good work young lady. Please take care of yourself and be safe. Hope someday down the road you all are protected from the weather when doing your work with the mizer. Keep the coffee going:-).
Great Job on the loader Em, Using the lower section of the control handles gives smoother control to overcome the drift of the hydrolics, Beautiful lumber, have cut some cherry slabs this past spring and are put up to dry biggest was about 16 inch across you got me beat on that LOL Job well done! Jla
I was in the lumber industry for over 40 years to include running a lumber yard and mill shop for 10 years. I had a small wood working shop and made all manor of things to sell. I recently sold all of my equipment because I am 60 and can no longer do the work due to health issues. I do enjoy watching you young ladies work with high work ethic!
Those slabs would be great for a really nice chest of drawers or a wardrobe!
Hi Everyone. Well Done or Done Well. Those Cherry Slabs are Nice!
Nice cherry slabs! I grew up in Kane, Pa which was, and maybe still is, the Black Cherry capital of the World! Most of the cabinets and furniture I make are out of cherry. Love it!
Gorgeous slabs of cherry. Thanks for sharing..... Really liked the camera angles and background music of this video. Production values keep getting better.
Going to be some nice cabinets .
That's Awesome !!!
I can almost smell that cherry as you mill it, beautiful wide planks!
Great videos!!
Beautiful color.

Jade. Thanks for putting Humpty Dumpty back together 😅
LOVE cherry excited for tommarow! Love the music you guys make great videos ! Let's support these good folks on patreon !!
Love the video love the cherry wood. We miss seeing Sammy.
Ain't that just cherry! Seriously beautiful wood. As always...great work ladies.
Those would make Great picnic tables.... Lovely grains and so well defined.
That was some beautiful wood! Thanks for sharing ladies, Have a wonderful evening!
I have yet to mill any Cherry. I hear from other sawyers that it has a wonderful smell. Hopefully one day.
I just watched Emerald cut up another log. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy her presentations. Her diction is excellent. Her enthusiasm for her family and work is evident. She manages to make every video interesting. Thanks Emerald for all your great work.

Black cherry is my favorite. I have a woodmizer sawn black cherry 3" slab for my fireplace mantle.
Love the hardwood milling videos. Nathan Elliott’s Out of the Woods is premised on the surprises generated by the revelation of the mysteries in any log. I worry about his mountain man beard getting caught in moving parts, same as I do the young ladies’s long locks.
That’s some beautiful looking cherry
We need a water splash on the fresh sawn slabs (like Matthew Cremona technique) to see the beautiful color and grain. Keep up the great videos, love your work.
I was going to request the same. It is too bad that the rough sawn effect will diminish the beauty of the grain. I know you will plane it out later!
I’ll second that. Even a spray of water. It really shows off the grain pattern. Try it a couple of times and see how it is received. Thanks for another great video,
These videos are really good. The content is excellent, and the music is right. Well done!
Wow that is beautiful wood. Wish we had it where I'm at
Great job ladies. 🇺🇸
Dang...I would love to have some of the cherry to build with. Beautiful.
That. Is beautiful wood. That would represent a lot of $$ here in KS. Hope Bossman has been working with some local furniture makers and craft people to sell this! I made a bench for a teacher at my granddaughters school out of live edge walnut 8/4 and each board was $80. And we have walnut here. No Cherry, little maple or Birdseye. Can't wait for tomorrow!
Nice Cherry log!! I need a couple of those delivered down here in NC if you can... We don't have any Cherry that large...
Interesting as usual. Thank you.
glad the boss is looking out for your well being. he is a great man . your family is a credit to the human race
Wow, Denise. Thank you for the comment…Boss Man.
No knots...beautiful select wood...love the heartwoo grain on that piece you cut...little waste...nice job once again..take care
Great video and 90000 subs. Congrats. Don't think I've seen another channel grow as fast as yours.
Black walnut is beautiful but that is my favorite 👍
You are absolutely amazing family and I love what you do and the different trees you have
Emerald always enjoy hearing from you and learning things in the videos about the business
Totally agree with Corbin . . . I've watched a lot of these LCLY uploads and am always impressed by Emerald's confidence and clarity as a presenter and narrator. A natural communicator and educator.
Nice to see a young person like you doing this hard work,my daughter works at her friends abattoir, some mornings they slaughter, skin and halve five beef, that’s just in the morning, three women!
Amazing video as always, And damn love the inside color of the wood there
Cherry wood is quite beautiful all finished up for tables and china cabinets.
I really enjoyed the variety of camera angles.
some truly beautiful wood slabs. really wish i was closer to your yard. as an artist i can see lots of great products coming out from there.
I would give my neighbor’s first born for one of those slabs!
Just recently started viewing the channel and have subscribed. Family businesses are often more enjoyable to watch. I appreciate the content and you guys seem to enjoy what you are doing. Thank you and look forward to watching!
Just a though, maybe if you put a slight incline toward the mill (I mean slight) so that logs can be manipulated by other logs as they unload to push the front log under the roof. Keep the claws away from the roof.
Loved em, nice work you gals ☺️👍. Look forward to seeing the maple tomorrow 👁️ I'll be keeping an eye out for it. 😁
excellent job by all.
Cherry and black walnut are my favorites
Loved the shot of the stacked log after cutting. Wish i had a mill operation like yours around me.
I love her adorable smile. ❤🔥
Girl, I love your work ethics and I know you spend a lot of time on these videos but they're worth it.
The way Cherry ages over time , the color turns out amazing!!
Great video guys !! Your weather looks like mine here in the hills of southern tier of NY.
Have a good evening. Thank you for the comment…Boss Man.
WOW! It certainly is beautiful, wish that I were closer!
That’s some beautiful grain. Emerald you must kill it on the claw arcade machine.
90,000 Subscribers!!! Congratulations LCLY !🥳🎉🎉🎉
Production values like this speak volumes about the intelligence in this family. Stay together y'all.
Thank you…Boss Man.
I can just smell the fresh cut cherry wood. I wish I lived near your mill.
Damn I wish I lived close enough to shop your yard! That’s some nice cherry!
Beautiful cherry slabs 👍
Those slabs are beautiful!
That's some beautiful cherry wood. Great job with it!
Its a step up business I mean, art curve tables manufacturing by hands shop!!!
Keep the good work going girls u do a great job
Those slabs are beautiful to look at. That wood will look stunning in any form. Thank you.
Beautiful log. Thanks to you and Jade for making the video. Merry Christmas ladies to you and your family. Stay warm
Em: That is beautiful grain. A previous Comment today is to hose down some off the slabs for a better view. Water could be expensive to move to the the stacking site but if you are going into this (hard wood), why not start attracting attention early. Or maybe just fill a bucket up with water on hardwood days and splash some on. On hot summer days it could be fun.
Absolutely beautiful 👍
If you splashed a little water on those slabs, it would highlight the character of the wood.
Those slabs are just beautiful! Cherry is my favorite hardwood. It looks great as cabinetry and furniture. Awesome job loading, cutting and stacking that long into lumber.
Some good looking slabs!! Good job
Wow! beautful reds and golden highlighted strands
twists and curals revealed.
Oh' and the log is nice too.
Beautiful wood!
That Cherry looks amazing! I know when we were picking hardwood flooring, (we chose white oak and hickory), Cherry was actually a bit cheaper because it isn't quite as popular right now. It's amazing wood though.
Very nice slabs!
Beautiful wood. Nicely done
