    I love your ingenuity and ability to fabricate. Hard to believe coastal elites would look at someone with your abilities and assume they're smarter -- and they are NOT.

    Clever air table idea!! Way to go. Where are you located? Cheers from Alabama

    All you need is Emerald and Jade! I didn't see if they had lasers on their edger.

    Have the same one! Mine is 3 phase electric and i love it . Would like a closer look at your air table! Great idea

      I would have loved electric but I don’t have 3 phase at that building so gas was the easier option, so far so good. I’ll keep that in mind next time I film the edger I’ll try to remember to get you a better look. Thanks for watching!

    Ran an edger back 50 years ago when we was young. No laser guides but had great marks on headboard to guide you. Personally I would turn your edger around and feed it right off the sawmill. Use your conveyer off the sawmill to bypass edged lumber and pull unedged lumber over and run it thru the edger. Of course you need 2 people to do that. Love your videos.

      You’re right that’s the best way to run it for boards off the mill, but I actually use it more for sizing boards coming out of the kiln. Having it that direction makes it easier to move stacks in and out with the forklift. Thanks for watching stay tuned I have lots of good videos coming up!

    I would paint the feed roles different colors at the laser lines. It just one more thing to help the visuals.

    maybe an auger in sawdust throat would grind up wood chunks and make area under edger a lot cleaner,

      That’s an interesting idea, never thought of that! Thanks for watching.

    They have grinders in the bottom of some edgers to grind up the sticks

      @@hillcustomlumber I know wood mizer offers a lower chipper on their MR200 edger. I cant say exactly who else does but many folks will usually follow plus it's a great idea

    The boards don’t require dusting off?

    • @hillcustomlumber
      @hillcustomlumber  8 месяцев назад

      No, some dust from the mill clings to them depending on wood type/sawing conditions but that doesn’t hurt anything.
