We open with a shot of the Department Of Damage Control Supermax Prison that’s holding Emil Blonsky’s The Abomination.
We know that’s the name of the prison because in Ms. Marvel season 1, episode 4, we got a shot of the prison with a lower third giving us the name of the facility.
The Department of Damage Control, D.O.D.C. for short, was originally a branch of SHIELD. But later became its own department in the federal government. The D.O.D.C. worked closely with Stark Industries in an effort to collect all alien technology following the Battle of New York. [clip, Homecoming opening scene where they put Vulture out of business.]
The D.O.D.C. has now become more of a federal law enforcement agency focussing primarily on superhumans. [clip, DODC arresting Peter in No Way Home.]
Similarly to how Jennifer Walters She-Hulk focuses solely on superhuman law.
As Jen enters the D.O.D.C. Prison she passes a wall that has A113 written on it. This is a classic easter egg you’ll find in many films, especially Pixar movies. [clip, fast paced montage with bell dings and arrows pointing out some A113 appearances in other films.]
California Institute of the Arts alumni such as Tim Burton, John Lasseter, Michael Peraza and Brad Bird have included A113 in many of their projects, because A113 is a reference to the classroom numbered A113 that was used for graphic design and animation.
We now see Jen confront Emil over leaked footage showing that he escaped prison as The Abomination and participated in an underground cage fight. This of course is the same cage fight we saw take place in Shang-Chi. [clip]
Blonsky tells Jen that breaking out of prison was never his idea. [clip, Blonsky telling Jen Wong broke him out.] And then Jen’s paralegal, Nikki Ramos, tracks Wong down on the internet.
She finds out that he’s currently the Sorcerer Supreme in New York, formerly a librarian at the Karma-Taj in Nepal for 11 years. And then -this one [Target Sales Associate] Who knew they had a Target?
Then, in a fourth wall break, Jennifer says [clip, “this guy busted him out of his prison cell and may have ruined my entire case…I know you can’t wait to see Wong.]
What I thought was interesting about this 4th wall break is th at Jennifer goes from not being familiar with Wong when talking to Nikki-to then being very aware of who Wong is when talking to us just a few seconds later.
Then she reassures us that this isn;t just a cameo show-she must have seen our cameo video. [clip, well except Bruce, and Blonsky, and Wong.]
I think Jen’s cameo commentary may actually be implying that we ARE going to be seeing quite a few more cameos throughout the series. We know Daredevil is on the way and later on in this video we’ll be talking about what we believe may be a reference to the Kingpin.
This kind of fourth wall breaking is a little different from what we’ve seen before. So far, Jen has mostly just talked about her own life [walking in law office]. But now she’s talking about the show she’s in, more like deadpool [lazy writing]. This is way more like her 80s comic, when she appealed to the creators to write better stories, and used comics gutters as shortcuts to teleport around the marvel universe.
During the Los Angeles Now news, the bottom of the chiron shows a headline that reads “superpowered influencer Titania speaks out about latest legal trouble, ‘confident’ her legal team will make it go away.”
Titania of course is the superpowered individual that She-Hulk faced off against in episode one of this series. [clip]
This photo of Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky is from the production of the 2nd ever MCU film, 2008’s Incredible Hulk. [clip, scene with Blonsky in his military uniform from Incredible Hulk.]
In a quick transition between different online news segments we see suggestions for other She-Hulk videos.

I think you missed something notable and sobering in the 'alley attack' scene...
At first when she's grabbed, she's scared and panicked, then remembers she can Hulk out. While initially it *is* played out comedically, after the Crew escapes, she stands up slowly, into a sort of visual dialogue with her reflection in the car window. The camera holds there for a long, uncomfortable moment.
    I think this is important.
It feels like an important acknowledgement: Trauma is trauma and nobody's impervious to it. Regardless of her super-strength, she's a survivor... Arguably a victim. And though it shouldn't be true, women face risks in ways most men don't comprehend. As a superhero, she's unscathed but as a woman, she is understandably shaken. That final shot of the show makes sure we understand this. It's yet another testament to the incredible female-led production. For all the popcorn-movie fun and 4th wall levity, as a dude I've appreciated the show's leaning into misogyny and the female experience.

With respect to Wong’s mention of memory spells: it could be more innocuous than that. He and Strange had the conversation at the beginning of No Way Home in which Strange mentioned having used the spell on Wong at a party. Still it’s curious that Wong makes it sound like HE was the one who cast a memory wipe spell…? I think we’ve only ever seen Strange do it three times (once after the aforementioned party and twice in No Way Home). Unless I’m forgetting something … maybe he used it on me…

The hulks alter ego thing is severely misunderstood by all these comic channels. Blonsky went wild on his first transformation, raged all thru the city. But that wasn't some alter ego that took over. It was just pure rage. She hulk felt some rage on her first transformation as well, but both her and blonsky only freaked out as a panic type response. Bruce however already had a multiple personality disorder so when he transforms his other personality takes over. Smart hulk is more the result of therapy than any technology or science. Lots of supers freak out bad when they first learn they have powers, but that's a normal reaction. If you understand these points it starts to show the story direction a lot more clearly. Bruce is still suppressing his rage. He is a lot more snarky now, humor bites a bit kore than human Bruce's. Remember when thor grabbed his shoulder in endgame? "Take your hand off me" smart hulk said basically behind gritted teeth. He may have found some zen balance in solitude but his patience is thin as she-hulk showed. Bruce said balance is super important to a hulk, and he is balanced on the edge. Really interested to see what happens when he falls off.

I don't think Blonsky ever lost control, even in the Hulk film. He's always had full control, perhaps not to change form, but over his actions. After all, if he had no control as Abomination during his rampage, there would be no case for locking him up while in human form, especially if, as this episode proves, they have inhibitors to keep him human.

    Technically, there's a key word in Wong's statement that you're neglecting: "I'm".
Wong said, "I'm not erasing everyone's memories; not again." Taken very literally, it actually implies that _he_ has cast that spell, or one like it, before. So while the writers inserting this statement here is obviously an allusion to the forget Peter Parker spell, it doesn't necessarily imply that he knows about that one since he could be referring to his own oopsie moment.

One point that seems to have been overlooked in all the reaction videos I've watched on this episode was the choice of costuming for Jen Walters. She walks into her office in a poorly fitting man's suit. Why? Since I'm extremely tall, I thought this was a clever and practical choice. Jen has been told that she needs to be She-Hulk at the office, not Jen so she has to buy an entire business wardrobe for her She-Hulk body. Speaking as a man, it's really difficult finding clothes for the extra tall and once you're on the outer fringe of tall shops, there just isn't a lot out there. But for extra tall women, it's even a worse situation. Combine that with her athletic physique and those clothes just don't exist off the rack. Now Jen now makes a lot of money as a GLK/H attorney leading a major division. But even if you showed up at a tailor with 10 grand in cash to make an entire wardrobe, it will take weeks for those clothes to show up. Take it from someone who has to do this myself. So what did the writers have the character do? Walk into a men's tall shop, buy a suit off the rack, a button down shirt and even men's shoes and wear that until her actual tailored clothes arrive. Brilliant detail from the writers and costumers.

As someone who plays basketball and volleyball, though, there are already a ton of women that are 6'4" 6'5", even 6'7" (just look at any WNBA roster). They have to get their clothing from somewhere. Now I agree with you that this choice in the show is a good plot detail, but I really hope they acknowledge later on that women like this exist and clothing can be made for her. I don't need to get angry about this like I did when my kids were watching 'Tall Girl' on Netflix 🙄🙄🙄 lol

Doom has diplomatic immunity in the US because he is considered a diplomat in the US. The elf's father is a diplomat in New Asgard, not the US.
If your father is the Finnish ambassador to the US, you'll have diplomatic immunity in the US, but you won't have diplomatic immunity in, say, China or Brazil.

Spot on, generally diplomatic immunity is an act of reciprocity for nations with diplomatic relations. As the US may have formal diplomatic ties with Latvaria in the Marvel Universe. Alfheim may have formal relations to Asgard, and Asgard may have diplomatic relations with the US, that wouldn't confer to Alfheim.

DC has the same target audience as Marvel’s so if DC beasts up, Marvels definitely going to up their game. The Boys is on another level than the two.

I agree on Wong's excuse. I felt that way at the time.
Wong needed money . . . maybe. Him being low on cash was a joke made earlier, so that's possible.
Does Wong have a means of seeing the future? There's no longer a time-stone, so . . . maybe he saw that getting to know the abomination and teaching him a lesson was necessary for some future event . . . maybe.
But I agree. Wong's story didn't make a lot of sense.

With respect to Diplomatic immunity from New asgard, The Light Elves aren't Asgardian.
Whilst it's likely that America now has diplomatic links to New Asgard, meaning asgardian diplomats may have diplomatic immunity, its quite unlikely that they would have diplomatic ties with another planet in Alfheim meaning diplomatic immunity would be impossible.

It might be silly or totally random, but the end credit scene of She-Hulk and Megan dancing is perhaps leading to Jennifer embracing more and more her green persona and grow in confidence about her body being very attractive as seen in the trailers where other women compliment her about her butt and also for her romantic life, she dates men while in She-Hulk form and not as a human.
And we also know that becoming She-Hulk made Jennifer more and more confortable and confident in herself, living and experiencing her life like she never did while a simple human
