3 years later, I'm checking out Devil May Cry: Pinnacle, er, Peak of Combat! And it's... way worse... oh well. But I also tried the demo for Prince of Persia: Lost Crown and it seems like a pretty good Metroidvania!

I have no idea what they were thinking when the made any part of that ad. Aren't they breaking copyright laws with that? There's no way it can be fair use when it's used in an ad for their game.

@@fluffyquack I genuenly can't find a reason to believe that they would go to Bandai Namco (as the label now is Bandai Namco Music Live) to license the track for a couple of seconds. 😅

Been following the development of this game regularly, mostly thanks to Revolthell´s channel, but when I saw what they did with version 2.0 my jaw dropped. NJ really snatched defeat from the jaws of victory here. Was hyped for the game ever since I saw the Rebellion + Agni & Rudra combos and Lady´s expanded moveset, but guess that is forever gone. It´s like they hacked the characters into pieces and are now trying to sell their mangled limbs separately for a premium. I guess the microtransactions NJ would sell from all the weapon skins and costumes just were not enough and they needed to artificially increase the amount of characters any way possible, gameplay be damned. All that effort and time wasted for a HI3 clone.

Yup. It's a shame because the beta version from 3 years ago actually played fairly well (even though that was also bogged down by gacha nonsense).
