Hey Spencer! You really do a great job & have a very positive attitude !
Thanks buddy! :)
Nice work. I'll bet you enjoyed the cool weather.
Oh yeah! Major relief
from the Netherlands thanks for the video Spancer
Good to hear from ya man
Straight up and drop… nice. I know that’s a simplistic view.
yup, the simplicity was great no this one
We could tell when the tree started to sway as you approached the top. Was this one of the taller trees you've had to cut down? Great job, as always
I'd say top 10 in terms of height around here. When I was looking at the footage I thought I should have taken in the view a bit more up top :)
Nice peel cuts Spencer. Buckin would be happy.
He's a good teacher :)
Nice work.
Stay safe
LMAO! "Danger: Not a how-to video"
hahaha ... glad ya caught that :)
Morning Spencer! Great video as usual. Thanks for taking us along!
Morning!
gota love them white pines.... easy to clean up
Absolutely ... nothing like 'em
Holy balls bro! That was up there!!
Flyin' high :) Thanks for checking it out, man
Oh by the way, I’m doin a lot of solo stuff and lovin your videos
Good to hear! Just say dang safe out there! no one to rescue you
glad you enjoyed the climb, i enjoyed the video.
Thanks! Yeah, it was a fun one
I've never climbed a white pine before. Thanks for all the great detail about them. Today I mulched up about 100 pounds of branches into wood chips and put a lot of them by the lilac I put in the other day. I set up a motor arbor driving 3 wire wheels in my shed so I can leave the dirt outside. In the evening I went and saw a great band called "Cabin Fever" that was really good. Two acoustic guitar players.
Sounds like some good stuff! Stayin' busy and gettin' stuff done. Well done man
I just found your channel I really like it I've been doing tree work for 20 years when you made the comment about working alone yes it is good and certain jobs but as you know tree work is very dangerous you should always have somebody with you just in case that's my opinion God bless stay safe my friend
Good to hear from you and I can definitely appreciate your perspective!
AWESOME job Spencer! You are amazing! God bless you my friend!
Thanks! I hope you’re well
Nice work sir ! Looked like the right amount of challenge and fun on that tree. Stay safe!
Thanks! Yeah, that's a good way to think of it. Lots of fun :)
My favorite activity is doing my own work, but watching you do your thing is kinda catching up.
haha ... I like how you put that!
Nice work
Thanks man
Good 👨🔧
Thanks!
Rock on
Thanks for checking it out, man
Goodbye Perfect Tree. Rest In Pieces.
Yup. Was a beauty.
I love ur video's as always stay safe and blessed
Big thanks man! Much appreciated
Great how to vid! Lol, man for some reason the popping and chucking of the stem is curiously satisfying, you can edit as good as chopping trees
How to! Lol thanks buddy
Man , thanks for taking me along with you
Oh yeah! Thank YOU for taking the trip
Love those pines... But my friend one very important part about those 🌲.. Sooooooooooo much sap and goo that makes you're climbing devices your chainsaw and your gloves just full of pitch😳😳😳.. I always go though about 2 pairs of gloves at least while removing those trees....
Yeah I was like a glazed donut left on the dashboard after that one, and so was the 2511 :)
You should muffler mod that 2511t is wakes it up and cuts way better!
You're absolutely right. I've tapped a few of my other mufflers and it makes a big difference. Have you advanced the timing on the 2511? Haven't done that yet myself
@@metaspencer i did not need to mess with the timing at all on mine after the muffler mod surprisingly, i would give it a shot!
@@zachfowler1410 awesome
Has your small Stihl been retired? Great vid
Just sittin the truck … still love those stihl saws
@@metaspencer yeah everybody deserves a day off lol
Been using a rope wrench but I’d like to find something more compact
The unicender is pretty compact ... just takes some getting used to. The Rope Runner Pro has had some issues but is pretty small and tends well
I finally got caught up, now I'm waiting for the next project. I find it interesting that as I'm watching you, I'm hoping that you don't fall, and I have to remind myself that you probably wouldn't be posting the video if you did, duh! Yep, I get caught up in your tree projects. I also appreciate that you clean up after yourself and leave the area looking better than when you arrived. Stay safe.
All caught up! That's so cool. Yeah, it's safe to say that if the video exists the job went well :) Thanks and take care
Nice job and video! Did you have some extra fuel / bar oil up there, or were they sending it up to you? Nice on the white pine ... what do you think of red pines?
No need for extra fuel on that one -- only burned up half a tank. :) Red pines are excellent to climb ... and I planted about 50 of them for a wind break a while back. Great trees
@@metaspencer Excellent. Happy to have found your channel. Looking forward to your future videos.
What type of hitch are you using on your life line
I tend to use a GriGri on my lifeline just out of old climbing habits ... it's not a smooth device but solid on many ropes. Takes some getting used to and not many people use it
Hey Spencer? Forgot to ask u ...how come you never use rope bags. I assume it's because of where u store your ropes I'm the truck I'm quessing.once I got bags Man couldn't back grew up in tree services that made me do it the old one arm then twist way.never did the rock climb way.but love the bags specially when there something to drape it over?
It's funny you should ask, buddy: I picked up a decent rope bag this week and will be testing it out on tomorrow's job. You know how it is: ya get used to one way of doing things and it's hard to break the habit. So I'm testing out the bag method this week! :)
climb time nice not over done drama tree men not movie stars well done
Thanks man. Much appreciated
You said that was your phone correct sound like woodpecker You run into
hahaha ... absolutely
I've noticed you don't seem to wear any bracing on your wrist perhaps you should consider something
I myself have to ware braces when I sleep to much repetitive work just enough pain making it hard to sleep
This is very important. Carpal tunnel is no joke.
Yikes! I never thought of that! Something to keep in mind. Thanks much
Let me guess how you heat your home... all electric, right?
That and a few candles :)
