I actually love the idea of Sammy being a forgotten child who grows to learn of his father's past and wanting to recreate tragedies under the fazbear name to spite his dad for what he did to him and his mom.
Personally I think Sammy should’ve been the puppet so that Charlie could play a role as a protagonist with Micheal. That and “SAVE HIM” was retconned, when it didn’t need to be, as Sammy being the puppet would make sense.
What if there were 2 puppets? That would make both canon but we don't know which is which. While one stayed as the puppet we know the other lost itself, twisting into what we know as Nightmarionete.

Hell, that would be a good enough reason for her to leave and take Sammy. Because Henry became so fixated on trying to recreate Charlie, he ignored their still-living child in favour of chasing a ghost. So when she found out what he was doing, she just up and left with Sammy. Henry being so fixated on making Charliebot either didn't notice that his wife and Sammy were gone or he was just super numb to the whole divorce proceedings and gave up his parental rights to his son. Which then juat leads me to just cringe at the whole Charliebot situation.

It’s interesting that William kidnapping a youngest sibling was reused as the movie’s inciting incident. Especially since we only see garret during the flashback and nowhere else. I hope the films have better narrative direction than the books. Also Maria absolutely needs to be investigated for Lamar’s disappearance.
I think the tease at the end of the credits pretty clearly spells out - no pun intended - that Garrett Schmidt will indeed return as a certain fan favorite animatronic.
I doubt the movie would take that route with Mike because movie William outright states he killed Garrett though it would be interesting if they changed it seeing mikes reaction to a grown up Garrett robot adding to his own guilt
The Emilys in general in FNAF are a little bit wasted in the FNAF saga, i think tha both Charlie and Sammy deserve a little bit more of a spotlight, in either media, specially in games. I wish that some day you talk about my long idea of the Charlie Spinoff, i hope you can do it someday, so everyone can hear it.

The developer i want for this game is Eidos Montreal, because they can do both Immersive sims (Deus Ex and Thief) and Action Super hero games (Marvels GotG), so thats my idea, if you want to do the video, ill be happy.

Doesn't seem like NRN's style, but maybe with a video on that general topic like "Future FNAF Spinoffs", talking about different ideas that could become games, this pitch could be featured as one of the "chapters" in the video
If you treat Silver Eyes as its own stand alone story its actually really good. It only becomes bad in hindsight with the context provided by Twisted Ones and Fourth Closet.
It's ironic that the fact he's such a forgotten character is what makes his case somewhat interesting in the first place. It's also kinda sad I guess but to be fair he truly nothing more than a name trown into a bad narrative.

If I were to use Sammy in the games. There are 3 choices. 1. Nightmarionne. 2. Shadow Bonnie. 3. CEO of Fazbear Entertainment. I think I like CEO Sammy best. Imagine this. Your father abandons you. Your sister’s death is all he thinks about. He lets his pain and grief consume him and leaves you and your mother behind. Throughout your life you are bitter over what your father did and decides to rebuild what his father destroyed, but better. Sammy is the heir of Fazbear Entertainment and those who want to rebuild the brand would flock to Sammy. Sammy being the new villain of the franchise would slap. Think of it. Imagine the story of a kid who’s father forgot about him over the grief of his preferred child, Charlie. With Sammy having to grow up in the shadow of his grieving father, always third in his mind two his two favorite kids. His daughter and his business. Imagine if in the story that Henry had rubbed off on Sammy in the worst way possible. And that all Sammy learned from his father is how to step on other people in the ladder to success, which Sammy deciding to use his anger and neglect to not only just walk the way of his dad, no, but to take the extra step and do it better. With Sammy becoming a very successful businessman, growing industry lead tech companies, while his dad and the company he had started just rotted alone in the dark and that is the catalyst for the new era of FNAF when Sammy found out his father had died in a fire in his own crummy little restaurant, Sammy saw it as an opportunity to strike. Using whatever legal leverage he had as the son of the former of Fazbear Entertainment, along with his exuberant amount of cash and influence to reconstruct the company his dad once owned. But unlike his dad, who always wanted to keep the franchise in a cheap and nostalgic past, Sammy was going to take the company to the future. But how exactly? By doing the opposite of his father and dancing with the trauma the franchise had endured. Sammy knowing that the company was a national pariah at this point, but instead of trying to cover it up as previous owners of the franchise had done, he decided to run full force with it. With Sammy commissioning a series of Indie Horror Games to jump on the growing popularity of the franchise becoming a trendy creepypasta/urban legends fodder. Sowing the seeds of well timed publicity stunts for the franchise and at the perfect moment bringing back the Pizzerias themselves, but with a modern twist. Not letting the nostalgia holding the franchise back like his father did, but instead using it as a springpath forward. With all this bringing us the Pizzaplex and Fazbear Entertainment that we all know today and all while creating new monsters within the Fazbear name to sell a profit. Creating Glitchtrap to create the new boogeyman of the franchise and unintentionally creating Vanny. But to Sammy, a new killer means a new form of profit for Fazbear and further spitting on the memory of his father. You could even have the theory that Charlie is haunting the Pizzaplex as a means to stop her brother and using Gregory to help stop him. Or why not go all the way? Why not make Sammy unwittingly responsible for everything? Have Sammy being the one who locked Charlie out of Fredbear’s on that dark and stormy night and this new story is a battle between a cold hearted soulless businessman and a vengeful sister seeking to bring everything he built down. That would make for an amazing story and one hell of a direction to take the franchise in the future. Focusing on the unintended legacy and domino effects of the hurt that the characters of the past caused, instead of just pointlessly reviving them to pad out the future.
Kinda weird theory considering "the old oak tree" thing + the "stuff" with Baby in tfc, but it'd have made more sense if John was Sammy, and John was implied to know more than he let on. (Basically imagine that John is just Sammy's middle name and he just decides to go by that to try and hide his identity a bit, or because he begins to resent Henry after possibly seeing his "Charlie robot project", and being influenced by his mother.) I'm pretty sure the first 2 books don't directly go into the "Charlie x John" thing, except for the date in TTO (I've been to the cinema enough times with my brother (we're both guys but the point is still the same) enough times to know its not weird for siblings to do that), and the oak tree stuff (that's the only weird thing that could just be chocked up to Charlie not knowing john is Sammy...or some "stupid kid stuff" logic), so it could be possible in a Forth Closet rewrite. Same basic plot but different dialogue. ("Charlie x John" acting as a misdirect until TFC and, looking back, they don't really do any truely romantic things, except for "Kid logic" and hanging out on the "date".) What if: 1) it was implied Henry was too busy to care about Charlie's School life. TBH, this point already is implied XD (Henry wouldn't be around to know Charlie met "Samuel Johnathon Emily" a.k.a Sammy/John) 2) Baby makes some weird comments about knowing where Sammy actually is. (Sammy implied to be closer than Charlie thinks) 3) John acts weird during TFC whenever speaking to Baby, similar to during that one date scene after Silver Reef when they play mind games with each other until John snaps, as if they both know exactly who the other is (no "i just know you can't be charlie" type dialogue and more of this kind), even before the reveal. (Sammy knowing about the Charlie robot clones and how Baby is one of them, while Baby is fully aware John is Sammy) 4) Baby uses the illusion disc on John (instead of KISSING HIM and he sees multiple charlies, she simply just uses the disc on him), and he starts seeing stuff that basically confirms that he's Sammy. 5) It would never be said directly that John is Sammy (no Baby dialogue saying "Sammy is out there living a normal life), but what if John had a picture of him next to Henry building the Charlie bots, or something that John really shouldn't have/know, but Sammy would to confirm it during the final graveyard scene, before walking off into the sunset.
It would have been so much better for Sammy to be the puppet in the books. I despise the robo charlie stuff so much, especially Baby's inclusion as a Charlie bot. Also, very much agree with your idea that Vanessa should be related to Sammy if she's going to be related to previous characters

Woah hey, I mean To Be Fair I can’t imagine walking back into your wife’s life with your robot daughter saying “hello honey” acting Hunky dory would work well, like he was dealt a hail mary of a ball in life, damned if you do, less damned if you don’t but still pretty damned. Either way he gave his life’s sanity to restore even an imitation of his daughter’s life, not even living to see the fruits of what could have came to be. Which is sad but like the daughter she didn’t want too reconnect probably adding more weight to an already unstable foundation. While she (and Henry) deprived them of some semblance of a sister/daughter they gave them a full life not having to deal with the bull crap. If you ask me that’s worth more than ANY exotic butter or otherwise.
I just thought of something bonkers: What if the “Save Him” minigame wasn’t retconned? What if Sammy Emily is the titular “him” we see get killed in “Save Him”, while Charlie Emily is the one we see get killed in the Security Puppet minigame? William Afton, having lost two of his children (CC and Elizabeth), went and killed Henry’s two children using the same hit n’ run tactic, but at two different points in time. Basically: “I lost two of my children, now you have to lose two of yours. Symmetry, my friend.” Now admittedly, I haven’t fully thought this theory completely through. Forgive me if I’m completely missing any lore that would debunk this idea, I just thought it was worth mentioning.
To be honest I'm just happy that they didn’t pull a twist ending where John was revealed to be Sammy his mom after the death of Charlie. Ran off with Sammy changed his name to John after Henry being mentally unstable started doing crazier and crazier things in hopes of bringing back his baby girl. Only realizing when it's to late what he lost.
A mere couple sentences in, "When it comes to the books, the canonicity has always been unclear" You know...... as much as I enjoy the series and the lore mysteries, this really assumes that there IS such a thing as canon within the games. Is there any "fact" in the series that they won't retcon if it becomes inconvenient to next game?

And hell, there's even retcons there since the entire Purple Guy thing happened, yet stuff like Pizza Sim implies he killed them while in the Spring Bonnie suit. @c.r.blankenship9040 Actually fnaf 2 only states someone used a spring lock suit. One from the back. At the time SpringBonnie didn't have any hints at even existing,so there's an entire possibility that William was originally meant to be in Fredbear and then it was changed as Scott made Fnaf 3. Not saying that is what happened but there was no implication of Spring Bonnie being around just that a yellow suit was used.
Part of me really wants Sammy to be the ceo of current day Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, since we know that it was probably past to a family member (if the one part of mar pats theory is correct) it would make sense to go to him as he would be the only one who would be close in age to run it. it would be a MASSIVE F U to Henry especially if Sammy was referred to with the line “ although this job wasn’t attended for you” like instead of Micheal it was originally gonna be his son who died in that fire. This most likely won’t happen cause literally no one cares about this character, but it would be neat. (Unless it’s someone like Fitz or a night guard who isn’t Micheal) the thing is, he did have a plan for a way out for that person, so maybe he just needed help luring them all in one place and the only other person he could think of was that one son he completely forgot about for most of his life. Maybe he was trying to get some form of closure but Sammy (understandably) never responded because why would he? Maybe he would have explained what happened to his sister/ maybe Elisabeth and the other afton kids if they knew eachother. This was herny trying to tie up all his loosen ends, maybe Sammy was also one of them

Henry and William are two sides of the same rusty coin. William may have murdered all those kids, but Henry knew and was complacent... The fact that a lot of the fandom sees a "poor man" in Henry is unsurprising if you consider that a lot of them probably havent read the Silver Eyes. Heck, I didnt know about his awful behaviour before I stumbled onto your videos! Anyway, lovely video as usual, Sammy couldve made the books really interesting, and its a shame he joined the group of forgotten kids
I'm actually wondering, because it came up in an episode of Inside no 9 as well, how common it is for one twin to be neglected when the other twin dies young. As they put it in that show, every birthday should be someone else's. Everything the twin does is a reminder of the one that died. I don't know if this is a real phenomenon, and I tend to agree that it probably wasn't intentionally set up.
Given I've recently seen an AITA from a 16 year old asking if they were TA for not wanting their birthday party to be all about their dead twin for once, when the twin died a week after birth, and the comments seemed to indicate it was not uncommon via personal anecdotes, it apparently is a real phenomenon.

But hey, at least they handled the "dead brother" trope way better in the movie, so it shows that there's at least some progress being made?
I still cannot get over the fact that Henry is responsible for way more deaths than Peepaw. Even during Pizzasim when he’s trying “redeem” himself he sacrifices so many employees to do it. I don’t think its worth lobotomizing anyone to try and catch the stinky rabbit man and thats assuming it even worked. Honestly Ive fallen in love with the fanficcy idea that all of the deaths and missing kids were because of Henry’s negligent safety and just blames everything on Peepaw (so much so that he’s even convinced himself that Peepaw was responsible for everything). Like in Pizzasim is you can get sued for your animatronics biting up another kid’s frontal lobe or the floor literally giving way because it was built on top of a sinkhole (which leads to the silly situation that the pizzaplex is also built on top of sinkhole. and in that sinkhole there’s another pizzaplace thats on top of another sinkhole)
I feel of all characters, Sammy had a lot of potential because he does live on in the story of the books, and in my opinion there is no reason why he shouldn't exist in the games either. Funnily enough, Sammy swapping for Charlie matches the "Save Him" from FNAF 2 changing to Charlotte by Pizza Simulator. And I do think that perhaps Sammy was the original idea for the Puppet before the Charlie retcon, and that would match Garrett from the movies and the Puppet teaser through making him sort of a mix of Crying Child and Charlie's deaths in retrospect since William and Henry seemed to swap the confirmed number of kids (at least in the games). Also makes me wonder about the Into the Pit difference in adding Andrew to the dead children as a mix of Cassidy and Crying Child, with Jake being more Crying Child but Andrew somehow having the weird parallel with CC via him not finding the idea of accidental injury or death via vengeance or getting even funny. The Cassidy parallel probably wouldn't either, but Crying Child is moreso the victim of that, so it's interesting that Andrew holds parts of both of the Golden Duo's past. Assuming of course that Andrew is disguised as Kelsey. If Andrew is sort of a combo platter for both Fredbear souls, that might mean the children involved in each parallel, canon continuity might be roughly the same number each time but bonded to different animatronics. Cassidy is Bonnie with Michael Brookes in Fredbear. So if Sammy was the Puppet in the Silver Eyes Trilogy, that was never explored because it was changed to Charlie and the Puppet wasn't included at all. Yet the children in the main Freddy's cast are still inside the animatronics without a Puppet, so it begs the question on how they were able to possess them properly without the catalyst and help from said Puppet. Sorry, got my thoughts humbled so I might have lost the thread.

You know, a part of me wonders how Sammy could have been more interestingly inserted into the story. I think it would have been interesting if maybe Sammy also went looking for answers, maybe in the second book. Like, Sammy's whole life his mother has been keeping him away from Freddy's and Henry, but he wants to discover what happened to his father and thus stumbling into the Freddy's situation and could have led to interesting interactions between Charlie and Sammy, well if the books let Charlie do anything past the first book I guess. Though I'm also one of those fools who think it would have been interesting if Puppet Charlie was also in the books. The idea of Robo Charlie thinking she was human for so long only to come face to face with an animatronic possessed by her very soul, or remnant or whatever, would have been some sweet drama. And with Charlie Puppet's Custom Night line about being "more aware" it would also have been interesting to get her perspective on her robo duplicate. Mix it all together and the idea of two Charlies, neither being human and one human Sammy could at least be for some neat fanfiction. But ultimately, it feels like whenever FNAF dives deep into story stuff it gets lots of cool ideas by fumbles so so much.

Random thought! What if! The night Charlie died, William was so drunk, he mistook her for her father despite her being an 8-year-old child. So after she died, Henry became so broken that he basically abandoned his son, Sammy, to focus on his work. And William was so wrought with guilt over what he did, he takes in the neglected Sammy. Elizabeth might have liked him, but Michael probably didn't consider him a real brother and just enjoyed tormenting him with jumpscares. All up until that day in the year 1983. This has no support as a theory, but I wanted to put that out there. But I do believe in the "Gregory is a robot copy of C.C." Theory.

It is a shame that Sammy Emily and Samantha (Susie's sister), and the other bullies besides Micheal and Bonnie Bro aren't explored a bit more, not to mention every other kid from FNAF 1's families. We only get into Susie's with her sister, parents, and dog, but nothing else for anyone that isn't Cassidy or a variant of them. I guess the most we know about Fritz is he might have some awareness because Foxy in Gogogo did see the bodies including his presumably and he sees through the mask. Phone Guy says it's just the messed up facial recognition but imo it would make his vision worse rather than better. Also, considering how Bonnie Bro was only recently explored and Vannessa is an honorary Afton (in the movies a literal one), and Gregory is absolutely a Crying Child Parallel regardless if he is a random human doppelganger, robot duplicate, or even a more brash reincarnation of Crying Child directly... It is a wonder if they are just going to keep recycling stuff what other tidbits we will uncover. The Into the Pit game might actually explore stuff we haven't seen considering in the description for it, one of Oswald's goals is to prevent the MCI. Also I think Gregory really is a sort of spiritual successor to Crying Child via his more active role and survival, while still at one point being controlled as Patient 46 and trying to save Cassie near the end before the Mimic cuts his signal off (and tears the power to the elevator off which is visible if you adjust the brightness.) Gregory has a more assertive personality over time versus Crying Child who might have only gotten the chance to be more assertive in Fnaf World (if it is in fact his mind that is being repaired and he has to confront his memories for closure.) The story may forever be a mess, but considering Kingdom Hearts exists and everyone loves the story there despite it being confusing, I don't mind the return of old faces, connections to old plot points and such if it winds up entertaining. The Silver Eyes trilogy as a whole is a mess but it is memorable and very meme worthy, alongside Fazgoo, Seabonnies, the derpy Funko merch that is 99% low quality, and the many content creators over the years who have had their own highlights to add to the nearly 10 years of FNAF. I am going to turn 28 in April, and FNAF has been with me since I was basically just starting college (Me having Autism explains why I am glued to this franchise for the few people who can't fathom adults in the fanbase since day one unless they are a RUclipsr or something). I literally made a ton of rants as separate comments. Sorry if that's spam I just love the series and your videos and such. I guess it's engagement though, so I hope the fractions of cents gained are payment enough haha.
I am in complete agreement with you, but I feel that the one person in this franchise that gets screwed over the most is MCI Jeremy. The poor kid only gets one mention and all we know is what animatronic he possesses, which is Bonnie, which also came as a shock to me, because this boy possesses one of the most popular animatronics in the whole franchise, and yet we know next to nothing about him! FNAF and Scott are abandoning him like his folks (if what Comedy Bot in Security Breach says is true)
I just realized that book Charlie ages in the same way that Goten and Trunks do in DBS. Stay the exact same small child for an extended period of time and then one day shooting up in age to the next stage of development. 2nd Charlie is Buu Saga and Super Goten/Trunks, and then 3rd Charlie is Super Hero Goten/Trunks. Which also means 4th Charlie is Future Trunks
In middle school, I read The Silver Eyes, The Twisted Ones, and The Fourth Closet almost back to back, and I only remember like four distinct scenes total.
honestly Henry (at least in the games) would've been so much better as an antihero of sorts. A father who lost himself to grief, who has done awful things but is determined to make sure nobody else has to suffer at the hands of William.
i have a personal headcanon,but it might be a bit cringy. (also a bit of a fanfic) Sammy was taken with his mom to Canada after Charlie got kidnapped. he took a interest of exploring abandoned places, and wandered into Joey Drew Studios.
I also think Sammy would have been cool to see meeting Charlie, even with the weirdness of Adult Charlie being a robot possessed by teenage Charlie (maybe booting Elizabeth out for her to maybe move on or something), they could have connected somehow regardless of the messy ending. Also just the fact that I find it neat that the Charlie robots sort of have their own remnant because they are deep think AI robots with experiences. So Robot Charlie would have her own soul just as Puppet Charlie would or any human does. Or like the advanced Pizza Plex bots might. I mean, they aren't organic but it's clear that Robotic memories and human memories, with the core of remnant itself being memories and experiences good and bad, are equally valid. Like Fazbear Frights says, emotions and memories give objects with AI and power life, just as the same gives organic beings life. And even in the religious undertones, perhaps anything given these memories and personalities are equally eligible to Heaven in this universe. Like with the hill in some of the Security Breach and Ruin endings possibly being a sort of heaven or at least salvation, with the mask ending being a fake. After all, how did Gregory or Freddy in the Burntrap ending even survive, regardless of it being retconned away with Princess Quest, Help Wanted 2, and Ruin? If that ending happened, and that hill is very similar to the gravestone hill, Glamrock Freddy does join Gregory and also Vanessa on it, alive or dead. Might mean that Robot Charlie is just as valid in her existence as the Puppet and Sammy. After all, why wouldn't the main character against Afton and pro saving children be considered not valid for heaven or life if the missing children were and Afton was at least considered as someone hellbound in some way?
Twisted Ones and Fourth Closet should have just been a duoligy unrelated to Silver Eyes. Most of the main characters have entirely new personalities and half the first book gets retconned anyways. It wouldn't have fixed the books by any means, but they would at least be more coherent.

I don't really remember the part of the book where it says that Henry's wife left him and took Sammy with her. I always took it as Henry knowing Afton was behind it all but had no solid proof so he sent his wife and only living child away into hiding while he attempted to catch Afton and stop him. After being alone in a house for so long walking the halls of a house that no longer feels like a home he built his daughter a new body knowing his son was alive it would be weird (well weirder) to make memories with a fake son, accomplish his mission, then reconnect with his actual son to realize his flesh and blood son has none of the memories he built over the years together.
It's explained in the Fourth Closet. Aunt Jen even fought with Henry who let his wife and child leave to build a new Charlie, then he planted the false memories of Sammy into Charlie likely after that. That's simply what happened. That's why Aunt Jen was the one switching Charlie's bodies and taking care of her.

Lamar’s disappearance was something I has never thought about(I was too focused on the already existing craziness of the books) but yeah… he really does seem like a kind of oddly specific character to remove. I feel like that needs to be looked into a bit further.

My hatred of how the Fourth Closet handled the Emilys motivated me to write a fanfiction which has morphed into a full-blown fangame, so thanks Fourth Closet. Spite really is a powerful motivator. Charlie deserves better and I'll make sure she gets to be the main character she deserves to be.

You know... Micheal and Garret are pretty much the movie equivalent of Charlie and Sammy in the books. Sammy and Garret dissapear without any explainations. Mike and Charlotte are sad,.they go to Freddy's. Discovered William tooked them, said killer died. Find closure, depsite not actually finding out anything about theirs brohers and wherever they ended up trapped inside animatronics or if they got buried in a forest. (Garret never actually appears in the pizzeria, there where cut scenes for it but you know. And Samuel just dosn't appear like at all in the books.) The end. The comparaisons between the Silver eyes and the movie dosn't end there, from drawings having an influence on animatronics to Foxy chasing someone in the middle of arcades, to William's death being pretty much the same with minor details. So.... here's the question.... what does it say for the next movies. Seems like Garret might be the Puppet. (Kinda funny when you think about it, Sammy Puppet? Garret Puppet? Time sure does fly and if that's not reused ideas or something, I don't know what is.) But what if he Isn't? One of the scrapped scripts was a reenact of the Silver eyes. Wich we kinda ended up with. Another one what Sister location with a vengfull Puppet... so.... What if the next movies pull up Another robot human here? What if it was Michael that died or something and Garret is perfectly fine somewhere with theirs dad? I don't wanna see a robot kid.... I don't wanna have robot kids in fnaf.....
I don't really think so. I mean, maybe, but Scott seems to just be rewriting parts of the books. That doesn't mean he would rewrite the same thing- especially with how little he acknowledges some of the books compared to others. It should be noted that while the fandom throws around characters possibly being robots a lot, such as with Gregory, it was only featured once in the Silver Eyes trilogy. Fazbear Frights doesn't count because they weren't robots but people who had their bodies stolen and became robots- which is basically animatronic possession.
As someone who's dug into the Charlie-Bot concept and made theories of it, I will say trying to make that concept fit into the books is hard without having to change other things in the books themselves. Though the "How I would've fixed Sammy & The Fourth Closet" section, to me I feel it would fit rather well with the Charlie-Bot concept than the original. I also feel that if you mess around with the narrative of The Twisted Ones, you could make it fit even better. Sammy, I feel, should've gotten more attention than Henry, as Henry was kind of the reason the Sammy plot was removed in The Fourth Closet, because Henry was more "important" I guess. And adding Sammy to the books would actually make it more interesting. Think about it, a now older child of Henry Emily going back to Hurricane to try and find out more about his father and his sister, only to find his sisters friends who are a bit skeptical of him. Sounds more interesting than the "Circus Baby = Adult Charlie and gives depressed Robo Charlie an existential crisis" story (The Fourth Closet) to me. I don’t think Bonnie Bully Jeremy would be that old by the time of Help Wanted 2, at least not in a way that would make it weird for him to have a twelve year old daughter (assuming this is true). If he was born around ‘66-‘68 to be in his mid teens by the Bite of ‘83 he would only be in his mid 50s now in 2024. My dad is in his early fifties and the youngest of my siblings is only 14. If Jeremy didn’t have Cassie until he was in his mid-forties the timeline could still reasonably add up, at least if you consider Security Breach taking place some time before 2032-ish. For the record I agree with the assessment that FNAF 3 and Pizzaria Simulator take place in 2015, not 2023, so I generally favor an earlier view of the newer games’ timeline. As far as I’m concerned, I wouldn’t find it totally unbelievable to say that Security Breach takes place in 2018 or 2021
The problem is that Help Wanted 2 confirms that it takes place sometime after 2035, as there is a picture of a Halloween party from that year. So, it's about 10-20 years past that.
Wheb I first read the novel I didn't think the Sammy memory was faked by Henry. Charlie is somewhat implied to be attached to a doll in the same way the children attach to the animatronics. I think her memory of Sammy was her seeing her own kidnapping from the perspective of the doll. Sort of a remnant of the moment that was left on the doll itself. Like the children her spirit was pulled apart and put into multiple robots. Her "twin things" with Sammy are actually her being attracted to parts of her own spirit rather than her brother. Also you have to ask about her aunt's hand in the trilogy. How much of the cover up was Henry and how much was her aunt? Who was her aunt really? The fact that Charlie's body was in a box in her aunt's house is completely glossed over.
A lot of folks believe that, but the book clarifies that Novel!Charlie is made of Henry's soul, not the original Charlie's. Likely to keep the books in the grey zone where technically they could still have Charlie!Puppet. Well, in the Twisted Ones it is shown that she basically retrieves Charlie's body and takes it home, then immediately puts it in the chest. We know she did the swap from child to teen, but considering that Henry apparently warned her that the adult body was 'evil' or something, I don't know if she would've ever swapped from teen to adult. But yeah, it is pretty much glossed over. Once they leave Aunt Jen's, the focus kinda just stays on robots and Henry.
I kind of almost forgot he existed. The only way I remembered Sammy‘s existence is through reading, going home in a box. That’s just how forgettable he is.
My mini rewrite of the plot for the twins(just for fun): Charlie died and Sammy was able to escape but got lost, and during this period Henry had the idea of creating a new version of Charlie until one day Sammy was found(yes, it really is him), and because the two were identical Henry could use this to say that Charlie was the one who had been found, being the first moment that his wife started having problems with him and only agreed to continue with the lie because she notice how Henry was affected and didn't want to make his situation worse, hoping that eventually he would get better and accept Sammy. As time passed, Henry began to neglect Sammy and his wife, who didn't know exactly what he was doing and thinking, leading her to consider a divorce after her efforts came to nothing, something that Henry approved but asked her to leave town without attracting too much attention and not talk about Sammy, and she ended up accepting once again because she didn't want any fights and felt that Sammy wouldn't be happy there anyway, promising herself and Henry that they wouldn't cut off contact and that she would try help him if he needed it. With the two away and without revealing any important information Henry was able to continue with the lie that Charlie was alive, creating all the robots to make her grow and live among humans, while his wife tried to get in touch but ended up giving up, which Henry wanted so that Charlie and Sammy wouldn't know each other, and that lead to the normal events of the story, but instead of Adult Charlie we would have Sammy, who like Charlie had a lot on his mind due to the memories of his kidnapping and someone else who was with him, making him feel like he needed to visit his father's city and maybe even investigate to try to calm his heart.
It's surprising how games keep portraying Henry in the bad way long after his death. If HW2 grave order is the death order (I'm not sure it is, but it's strongly suggested), then Henry talking about "wound first inflicted on me" is awfully self-centred.

Sammy (or someone similar) being the Puppet is actually something that the movies might be doing? Mike's little brother wasn't posessing any of the main animatronics, we know he was killed by Afton, and the cryptic message at the end of the movie envokes the Puppet minigames. I think it would've been so cool if Sammy WAS the marionette, considering the marionette isn't ANYWHERE in the books. And as for the games, that would've been cool too, and maybe instead of Henry burning the place down at the end, it could've been Charlie. Although, I don't have any ideas how you would play as Charlie, since playing as Michael in FNAF 4-6 just makes sense. Maybe make a bonus game? until something directly says otherwise i'm going to continue to believe that Glitchtrap pushed Vanessa to change her last name to Afton rather than her being born with it. not only does it make more sense, but it gives more narrative weight to it being her name other than just fanservice. i mean whether she was born to the family or not she's absolutely part of things now and isn't getting out anytime soon also i love seeing you talk here about how Charlie in the books isn't the same as the Charlie who died. with the books' emphasis on souls being grown and her soul having no real reason to latch onto the doll it honestly makes more sense than the alternative. what's particularly fun about that though is it fuels and inspired a particularly crack-fic-y idea i had for a fanfic with both book and game canon mixed together where you could have Charlie's soul in the puppet AND still have book Charlie running around as a second whole person allowing the two to not only meet each other, but possibly Sammy as well which would be a really wild series of events

Hell, that would be a good enough reason for her to leave and take Sammy. Because Henry became so fixated on trying to recreate Charlie, he ignored their still-living child in favour of chasing a ghost. So when she found out what he was doing, she just up and left with Sammy.
Henry being so fixated on making Charliebot either didn't notice that his wife and Sammy were gone or he was just super numb to the whole divorce proceedings and gave up his parental rights to his son.
Which then juat leads me to just cringe at the whole Charliebot situation.

Ah the FNAF novels, evil trauma ridden fathers, trauma denial, the alleged removal of the only black character, daddy issues, forgotten characters, a mountain of plot holes, and Sexy Baby vibing in the back.
It’s interesting that William kidnapping a youngest sibling was reused as the movie’s inciting incident. Especially since we only see garret during the flashback and nowhere else. I hope the films have better narrative direction than the books.
Also Maria absolutely needs to be investigated for Lamar’s disappearance.
I think the tease at the end of the credits pretty clearly spells out - no pun intended - that Garrett Schmidt will indeed return as a certain fan favorite animatronic.

The developer i want for this game is Eidos Montreal, because they can do both Immersive sims (Deus Ex and Thief) and Action Super hero games (Marvels GotG), so thats my idea, if you want to do the video, ill be happy.

Imagine this. Your father abandons you. Your sister’s death is all he thinks about. He lets his pain and grief consume him and leaves you and your mother behind. Throughout your life you are bitter over what your father did and decides to rebuild what his father destroyed, but better.
Sammy is the heir of Fazbear Entertainment and those who want to rebuild the brand would flock to Sammy.
Sammy being the new villain of the franchise would slap. Think of it.
Imagine the story of a kid who’s father forgot about him over the grief of his preferred child, Charlie. With Sammy having to grow up in the shadow of his grieving father, always third in his mind two his two favorite kids. His daughter and his business. Imagine if in the story that Henry had rubbed off on Sammy in the worst way possible. And that all Sammy learned from his father is how to step on other people in the ladder to success, which Sammy deciding to use his anger and neglect to not only just walk the way of his dad, no, but to take the extra step and do it better. With Sammy becoming a very successful businessman, growing industry lead tech companies, while his dad and the company he had started just rotted alone in the dark and that is the catalyst for the new era of FNAF when Sammy found out his father had died in a fire in his own crummy little restaurant, Sammy saw it as an opportunity to strike. Using whatever legal leverage he had as the son of the former of Fazbear Entertainment, along with his exuberant amount of cash and influence to reconstruct the company his dad once owned. But unlike his dad, who always wanted to keep the franchise in a cheap and nostalgic past, Sammy was going to take the company to the future. But how exactly? By doing the opposite of his father and dancing with the trauma the franchise had endured. Sammy knowing that the company was a national pariah at this point, but instead of trying to cover it up as previous owners of the franchise had done, he decided to run full force with it. With Sammy commissioning a series of Indie Horror Games to jump on the growing popularity of the franchise becoming a trendy creepypasta/urban legends fodder. Sowing the seeds of well timed publicity stunts for the franchise and at the perfect moment bringing back the Pizzerias themselves, but with a modern twist. Not letting the nostalgia holding the franchise back like his father did, but instead using it as a springpath forward. With all this bringing us the Pizzaplex and Fazbear Entertainment that we all know today and all while creating new monsters within the Fazbear name to sell a profit.
Creating Glitchtrap to create the new boogeyman of the franchise and unintentionally creating Vanny. But to Sammy, a new killer means a new form of profit for Fazbear and further spitting on the memory of his father. You could even have the theory that Charlie is haunting the Pizzaplex as a means to stop her brother and using Gregory to help stop him. Or why not go all the way? Why not make Sammy unwittingly responsible for everything? Have Sammy being the one who locked Charlie out of Fredbear’s on that dark and stormy night and this new story is a battle between a cold hearted soulless businessman and a vengeful sister seeking to bring everything he built down.
That would make for an amazing story and one hell of a direction to take the franchise in the future. Focusing on the unintended legacy and domino effects of the hurt that the characters of the past caused, instead of just pointlessly reviving them to pad out the future.
Sammy having been the one to lock her out + being the CEO now has always been my favorite Sammy theory AUGHHHHH.
‘Who is Sammy Emily’ Blonde Charlie - that’s his premise.
Kinda weird theory considering "the old oak tree" thing + the "stuff" with Baby in tfc, but it'd have made more sense if John was Sammy, and John was implied to know more than he let on. (Basically imagine that John is just Sammy's middle name and he just decides to go by that to try and hide his identity a bit, or because he begins to resent Henry after possibly seeing his "Charlie robot project", and being influenced by his mother.)
I'm pretty sure the first 2 books don't directly go into the "Charlie x John" thing, except for the date in TTO (I've been to the cinema enough times with my brother (we're both guys but the point is still the same) enough times to know its not weird for siblings to do that), and the oak tree stuff (that's the only weird thing that could just be chocked up to Charlie not knowing john is Sammy...or some "stupid kid stuff" logic), so it could be possible in a Forth Closet rewrite.
Same basic plot but different dialogue. ("Charlie x John" acting as a misdirect until TFC and, looking back, they don't really do any truely romantic things, except for "Kid logic" and hanging out on the "date".)
What if:
1) it was implied Henry was too busy to care about Charlie's School life. TBH, this point already is implied XD (Henry wouldn't be around to know Charlie met "Samuel Johnathon Emily" a.k.a Sammy/John)
2) Baby makes some weird comments about knowing where Sammy actually is. (Sammy implied to be closer than Charlie thinks)
3) John acts weird during TFC whenever speaking to Baby, similar to during that one date scene after Silver Reef when they play mind games with each other until John snaps, as if they both know exactly who the other is (no "i just know you can't be charlie" type dialogue and more of this kind), even before the reveal. (Sammy knowing about the Charlie robot clones and how Baby is one of them, while Baby is fully aware John is Sammy)
4) Baby uses the illusion disc on John (instead of KISSING HIM and he sees multiple charlies, she simply just uses the disc on him), and he starts seeing stuff that basically confirms that he's Sammy.
5) It would never be said directly that John is Sammy (no Baby dialogue saying "Sammy is out there living a normal life), but what if John had a picture of him next to Henry building the Charlie bots, or something that John really shouldn't have/know, but Sammy would to confirm it during the final graveyard scene, before walking off into the sunset.
It would have been so much better for Sammy to be the puppet in the books. I despise the robo charlie stuff so much, especially Baby's inclusion as a Charlie bot.
Also, very much agree with your idea that Vanessa should be related to Sammy if she's going to be related to previous characters

Woah hey, I mean To Be Fair I can’t imagine walking back into your wife’s life with your robot daughter saying “hello honey” acting Hunky dory would work well, like he was dealt a hail mary of a ball in life, damned if you do, less damned if you don’t but still pretty damned. Either way he gave his life’s sanity to restore even an imitation of his daughter’s life, not even living to see the fruits of what could have came to be. Which is sad but like the daughter she didn’t want too reconnect probably adding more weight to an already unstable foundation. While she (and Henry) deprived them of some semblance of a sister/daughter they gave them a full life not having to deal with the bull crap. If you ask me that’s worth more than ANY exotic butter or otherwise.
I just thought of something bonkers: What if the “Save Him” minigame wasn’t retconned? What if Sammy Emily is the titular “him” we see get killed in “Save Him”, while Charlie Emily is the one we see get killed in the Security Puppet minigame?
William Afton, having lost two of his children (CC and Elizabeth), went and killed Henry’s two children using the same hit n’ run tactic, but at two different points in time.
Basically: “I lost two of my children, now you have to lose two of yours. Symmetry, my friend.”
Now admittedly, I haven’t fully thought this theory completely through. Forgive me if I’m completely missing any lore that would debunk this idea, I just thought it was worth mentioning.
To be honest I'm just happy that they didn’t pull a twist ending where John was revealed to be Sammy his mom after the death of Charlie. Ran off with Sammy changed his name to John after Henry being mentally unstable started doing crazier and crazier things in hopes of bringing back his baby girl. Only realizing when it's to late what he lost.
Every time Henry is brought up in these videos, my perception of him continues to go lower.

At the time SpringBonnie didn't have any hints at even existing,so there's an entire possibility that William was originally meant to be in Fredbear and then it was changed as Scott made Fnaf 3. Not saying that is what happened but there was no implication of Spring Bonnie being around just that a yellow suit was used.
Part of me really wants Sammy to be the ceo of current day Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, since we know that it was probably past to a family member (if the one part of mar pats theory is correct) it would make sense to go to him as he would be the only one who would be close in age to run it. it would be a MASSIVE F U to Henry especially if Sammy was referred to with the line “ although this job wasn’t attended for you” like instead of Micheal it was originally gonna be his son who died in that fire. (Unless it’s someone like Fitz or a night guard who isn’t Micheal) the thing is, he did have a plan for a way out for that person, so maybe he just needed help luring them all in one place and the only other person he could think of was that one son he completely forgot about for most of his life. Maybe he was trying to get some form of closure but Sammy (understandably) never responded because why would he? Maybe he would have explained what happened to his sister/ maybe Elisabeth and the other afton kids if they knew eachother. This was herny trying to tie up all his loosen ends, maybe Sammy was also one of them

Henry and William are two sides of the same rusty coin. William may have murdered all those kids, but Henry knew and was complacent... The fact that a lot of the fandom sees a "poor man" in Henry is unsurprising if you consider that a lot of them probably havent read the Silver Eyes. I'm actually wondering, because it came up in an episode of Inside no 9 as well, how common it is for one twin to be neglected when the other twin dies young. As they put it in that show, every birthday should be someone else's. Everything the twin does is a reminder of the one that died. I don't know if this is a real phenomenon, and I tend to agree that it probably wasn't intentionally set up.
Given I've recently seen an AITA from a 16 year old asking if they were TA for not wanting their birthday party to be all about their dead twin for once, when the twin died a week after birth, and the comments seemed to indicate it was not uncommon via personal anecdotes, it apparently is a real phenomenon.

I still cannot get over the fact that Henry is responsible for way more deaths than Peepaw. Even during Pizzasim when he’s trying “redeem” himself he sacrifices so many employees to do it. I don’t think its worth lobotomizing anyone to try and catch the stinky rabbit man and thats assuming it even worked. Honestly Ive fallen in love with the fanficcy idea that all of the deaths and missing kids were because of Henry’s negligent safety and just blames everything on Peepaw (so much so that he’s even convinced himself that Peepaw was responsible for everything). Like in Pizzasim is you can get sued for your animatronics biting up another kid’s frontal lobe or the floor literally giving way because it was built on top of a sinkhole (which leads to the silly situation that the pizzaplex is also built on top of sinkhole. and in that sinkhole there’s another pizzaplace thats on top of another sinkhole)

Pretty random but I’m starting to like Scraptraps design, I don’t know how but I think it’s because it’s so ridiculously goofy that it’s just funny
I feel of all characters, Sammy had a lot of potential because he does live on in the story of the books, and in my opinion there is no reason why he shouldn't exist in the games either. Funnily enough, Sammy swapping for Charlie matches the "Save Him" from FNAF 2 changing to Charlotte by Pizza Simulator. And I do think that perhaps Sammy was the original idea for the Puppet before the Charlie retcon, and that would match Garrett from the movies and the Puppet teaser through making him sort of a mix of Crying Child and Charlie's deaths in retrospect since William and Henry seemed to swap the confirmed number of kids (at least in the games). Also makes me wonder about the Into the Pit difference in adding Andrew to the dead children as a mix of Cassidy and Crying Child, with Jake being more Crying Child but Andrew somehow having the weird parallel with CC via him not finding the idea of accidental injury or death via vengeance or getting even funny. The Cassidy parallel probably wouldn't either, but Crying Child is moreso the victim of that, so it's interesting that Andrew holds parts of both of the Golden Duo's past. Assuming of course that Andrew is disguised as Kelsey. If Andrew is sort of a combo platter for both Fredbear souls, that might mean the children involved in each parallel, canon continuity might be roughly the same number each time but bonded to different animatronics. Cassidy is Bonnie with Michael Brookes in Fredbear. So if Sammy was the Puppet in the Silver Eyes Trilogy, that was never explored because it was changed to Charlie and the Puppet wasn't included at all. Yet the children in the main Freddy's cast are still inside the animatronics without a Puppet, so it begs the question on how they were able to possess them properly without the catalyst and help from said Puppet. Sorry, got my thoughts humbled so I might have lost the thread.
Maybe the real Sammy Emily were the friends we made along the way..

You know, a part of me wonders how Sammy could have been more interestingly inserted into the story. I think it would have been interesting if maybe Sammy also went looking for answers, maybe in the second book. Like, Sammy's whole life his mother has been keeping him away from Freddy's and Henry, but he wants to discover what happened to his father and thus stumbling into the Freddy's situation and could have led to interesting interactions between Charlie and Sammy, well if the books let Charlie do anything past the first book I guess.
Though I'm also one of those fools who think it would have been interesting if Puppet Charlie was also in the books. The idea of Robo Charlie thinking she was human for so long only to come face to face with an animatronic possessed by her very soul, or remnant or whatever, would have been some sweet drama. And with Charlie Puppet's Custom Night line about being "more aware" it would also have been interesting to get her perspective on her robo duplicate. Mix it all together and the idea of two Charlies, neither being human and one human Sammy could at least be for some neat fanfiction.
But ultimately, it feels like whenever FNAF dives deep into story stuff it gets lots of cool ideas by fumbles so so much.

I kinda just assumed Sammy never actually existed, that it was just a lie from Henry. In hindsight, why would he ever do that, it would be stupid to make fake a traumatized Charlie.
Random thought! What if! The night Charlie died, William was so drunk, he mistook her for her father despite her being an 8-year-old child. So after she died, Henry became so broken that he basically abandoned his son, Sammy, to focus on his work. And William was so wrought with guilt over what he did, he takes in the neglected Sammy. Elizabeth might have liked him, but Michael probably didn't consider him a real brother and just enjoyed tormenting him with jumpscares. All up until that day in the year 1983. This has no support as a theory, but I wanted to put that out there. But I do believe in the "Gregory is a robot copy of C.C." Theory.

I remember reading about Sammy in the books years ago, and he’s been as ignored as Toy Freddy.
It is a shame that Sammy Emily and Samantha (Susie's sister), and the other bullies besides Micheal and Bonnie Bro aren't explored a bit more, not to mention every other kid from FNAF 1's families. We only get into Susie's with her sister, parents, and dog, but nothing else for anyone that isn't Cassidy or a variant of them. I guess the most we know about Fritz is he might have some awareness because Foxy in Gogogo did see the bodies including his presumably and he sees through the mask. Phone Guy says it's just the messed up facial recognition but imo it would make his vision worse rather than better. Also, considering how Bonnie Bro was only recently explored and Vannessa is an honorary Afton (in the movies a literal one), and Gregory is absolutely a Crying Child Parallel regardless if he is a random human doppelganger, robot duplicate, or even a more brash reincarnation of Crying Child directly... It is a wonder if they are just going to keep recycling stuff what other tidbits we will uncover. The Into the Pit game might actually explore stuff we haven't seen considering in the description for it, one of Oswald's goals is to prevent the MCI.
Also I think Gregory really is a sort of spiritual successor to Crying Child via his more active role and survival, while still at one point being controlled as Patient 46 and trying to save Cassie near the end before the Mimic cuts his signal off (and tears the power to the elevator off which is visible if you adjust the brightness.) Gregory has a more assertive personality over time versus Crying Child who might have only gotten the chance to be more assertive in Fnaf World (if it is in fact his mind that is being repaired and he has to confront his memories for closure.) The story may forever be a mess, but considering Kingdom Hearts exists and everyone loves the story there despite it being confusing, I don't mind the return of old faces, connections to old plot points and such if it winds up entertaining. The Silver Eyes trilogy as a whole is a mess but it is memorable and very meme worthy, alongside Fazgoo, Seabonnies, the derpy Funko merch that is 99% low quality, and the many content creators over the years who have had their own highlights to add to the nearly 10 years of FNAF. I am going to turn 28 in April, and FNAF has been with me since I was basically just starting college (Me having Autism explains why I am glued to this franchise for the few people who can't fathom adults in the fanbase since day one unless they are a RUclipsr or something). I literally made a ton of rants as separate comments. Sorry if that's spam I just love the series and your videos and such. I guess it's engagement though, so I hope the fractions of cents gained are payment enough haha.

I am in complete agreement with you, but I feel that the one person in this franchise that gets screwed over the most is MCI Jeremy. The poor kid only gets one mention and all we know is what animatronic he possesses, which is Bonnie, which also came as a shock to me, because this boy possesses one of the most popular animatronics in the whole franchise, and yet we know next to nothing about him! FNAF and Scott are abandoning him like his folks (if what Comedy Bot in Security Breach says is true)

I just realized that book Charlie ages in the same way that Goten and Trunks do in DBS. Stay the exact same small child for an extended period of time and then one day shooting up in age to the next stage of development. 2nd Charlie is Buu Saga and Super Goten/Trunks, and then 3rd Charlie is Super Hero Goten/Trunks. Which also means 4th Charlie is Future Trunks

honestly Henry (at least in the games) would've been so much better as an antihero of sorts. A father who lost himself to grief, who has done awful things but is determined to make sure nobody else has to suffer at the hands of William.

I also think Sammy would have been cool to see meeting Charlie, even with the weirdness of Adult Charlie being a robot possessed by teenage Charlie (maybe booting Elizabeth out for her to maybe move on or something), they could have connected somehow regardless of the messy ending. Also just the fact that I find it neat that the Charlie robots sort of have their own remnant because they are deep think AI robots with experiences. So Robot Charlie would have her own soul just as Puppet Charlie would or any human does. Or like the advanced Pizza Plex bots might. I mean, they aren't organic but it's clear that Robotic memories and human memories, with the core of remnant itself being memories and experiences good and bad, are equally valid. Like Fazbear Frights says, emotions and memories give objects with AI and power life, just as the same gives organic beings life. And even in the religious undertones, perhaps anything given these memories and personalities are equally eligible to Heaven in this universe. Like with the hill in some of the Security Breach and Ruin endings possibly being a sort of heaven or at least salvation, with the mask ending being a fake. After all, how did Gregory or Freddy in the Burntrap ending even survive, regardless of it being retconned away with Princess Quest, Help Wanted 2, and Ruin? If that ending happened, and that hill is very similar to the gravestone hill, Glamrock Freddy does join Gregory and also Vanessa on it, alive or dead. Might mean that Robot Charlie is just as valid in her existence as the Puppet and Sammy. After all, why wouldn't the main character against Afton and pro saving children be considered not valid for heaven or life if the missing children were and Afton was at least considered as someone hellbound in some way?

Twisted Ones and Fourth Closet should have just been a duoligy unrelated to Silver Eyes. Most of the main characters have entirely new personalities and half the first book gets retconned anyways. It wouldn't have fixed the books by any means, but they would at least be more coherent.

I don't really remember the part of the book where it says that Henry's wife left him and took Sammy with her. I always took it as Henry knowing Afton was behind it all but had no solid proof so he sent his wife and only living child away into hiding while he attempted to catch Afton and stop him. After being alone in a house for so long walking the halls of a house that no longer feels like a home he built his daughter a new body knowing his son was alive it would be weird (well weirder) to make memories with a fake son, accomplish his mission, then reconnect with his actual son to realize his flesh and blood son has none of the memories he built over the years together.
It's explained in the Fourth Closet. Aunt Jen even fought with Henry who let his wife and child leave to build a new Charlie, then he planted the false memories of Sammy into Charlie likely after that. That's simply what happened. That's why Aunt Jen was the one switching Charlie's bodies and taking care of her.

honestly, knowing what i do about henry, I wouldn't be surprised if henry was the reason william completely lost it. tbh they need to bring back sammy tho.
You know... Micheal and Garret are pretty much the movie equivalent of Charlie and Sammy in the books. Sammy and Garret dissapear without any explainations. Mike and Charlotte are sad,.they go to Freddy's. Discovered William tooked them, said killer died. Find closure, depsite not actually finding out anything about theirs brohers and wherever they ended up trapped inside animatronics or if they got buried in a forest. (Garret never actually appears in the pizzeria, there where cut scenes for it but you know. And Samuel just dosn't appear like at all in the books.) The end.
The comparaisons between the Silver eyes and the movie dosn't end there, from drawings having an influence on animatronics to Foxy chasing someone in the middle of arcades, to William's death being pretty much the same with minor details.
So.... here's the question.... what does it say for the next movies. Seems like Garret might be the Puppet. (Kinda funny when you think about it, Sammy Puppet? Garret Puppet? Time sure does fly and if that's not reused ideas or something, I don't know what is.) But what if he Isn't? One of the scrapped scripts was a reenact of the Silver eyes. Wich we kinda ended up with. Another one what Sister location with a vengfull Puppet... so....
What if the next movies pull up Another robot human here? What if it was Michael that died or something and Garret is perfectly fine somewhere with theirs dad?

I don't really think so. I mean, maybe, but Scott seems to just be rewriting parts of the books. That doesn't mean he would rewrite the same thing- especially with how little he acknowledges some of the books compared to others.
It should be noted that while the fandom throws around characters possibly being robots a lot, such as with Gregory, it was only featured once in the Silver Eyes trilogy. Fazbear Frights doesn't count because they weren't robots but people who had their bodies stolen and became robots- which is basically animatronic possession.
As someone who's dug into the Charlie-Bot concept and made theories of it, I will say trying to make that concept fit into the books is hard without having to change other things in the books themselves. Though the "How I would've fixed Sammy & The Fourth Closet" section, to me I feel it would fit rather well with the Charlie-Bot concept than the original. I also feel that if you mess around with the narrative of The Twisted Ones, you could make it fit even better. Sammy, I feel, should've gotten more attention than Henry, as Henry was kind of the reason the Sammy plot was removed in The Fourth Closet, because Henry was more "important" I guess. And adding Sammy to the books would actually make it more interesting. Think about it, a now older child of Henry Emily going back to Hurricane to try and find out more about his father and his sister, only to find his sisters friends who are a bit skeptical of him. Sounds more interesting than the "Circus Baby = Adult Charlie and gives depressed Robo Charlie an existential crisis" story (The Fourth Closet) to me.

Imagine Sammy existing in the games and being the second protagonist together with Michael. I think it would be a pretty fun dynamic.
I don’t think Bonnie Bully Jeremy would be that old by the time of Help Wanted 2, at least not in a way that would make it weird for him to have a twelve year old daughter (assuming this is true). If he was born around ‘66-‘68 to be in his mid teens by the Bite of ‘83 he would only be in his mid 50s now in 2024. My dad is in his early fifties and the youngest of my siblings is only 14. If Jeremy didn’t have Cassie until he was in his mid-forties the timeline could still reasonably add up, at least if you consider Security Breach taking place some time before 2032-ish.
For the record I agree with the assessment that FNAF 3 and Pizzaria Simulator take place in 2015, not 2023, so I generally favor an earlier view of the newer games’ timeline. As far as I’m concerned, I wouldn’t find it totally unbelievable to say that Security Breach takes place in 2018 or 2021
The problem is that Help Wanted 2 confirms that it takes place sometime after 2035, as there is a picture of a Halloween party from that year. So, it's about 10-20 years past that.
Wheb I first read the novel I didn't think the Sammy memory was faked by Henry.
Charlie is somewhat implied to be attached to a doll in the same way the children attach to the animatronics. I think her memory of Sammy was her seeing her own kidnapping from the perspective of the doll. Sort of a remnant of the moment that was left on the doll itself. Like the children her spirit was pulled apart and put into multiple robots. Her "twin things" with Sammy are actually her being attracted to parts of her own spirit rather than her brother.
Also you have to ask about her aunt's hand in the trilogy. How much of the cover up was Henry and how much was her aunt? Who was her aunt really? The fact that Charlie's body was in a box in her aunt's house is completely glossed over.
A lot of folks believe that, but the book clarifies that Novel!Charlie is made of Henry's soul, not the original Charlie's. Likely to keep the books in the grey zone where technically they could still have Charlie!Puppet.
Well, in the Twisted Ones it is shown that she basically retrieves Charlie's body and takes it home, then immediately puts it in the chest. We know she did the swap from child to teen, but considering that Henry apparently warned her that the adult body was 'evil' or something, I don't know if she would've ever swapped from teen to adult.
But yeah, it is pretty much glossed over. Once they leave Aunt Jen's, the focus kinda just stays on robots and Henry.
I kind of almost forgot he existed. The only way I remembered Sammy‘s existence is through reading, going home in a box. That’s just how forgettable he is.
Every video you make im more ans more convinced that Henry is just a vile and evil as william but in different ways.
My mini rewrite of the plot for the twins(just for fun): Charlie died and Sammy was able to escape but got lost, and during this period Henry had the idea of creating a new version of Charlie until one day Sammy was found(yes, it really is him), and because the two were identical Henry could use this to say that Charlie was the one who had been found, being the first moment that his wife started having problems with him and only agreed to continue with the lie because she notice how Henry was affected and didn't want to make his situation worse, hoping that eventually he would get better and accept Sammy. As time passed, Henry began to neglect Sammy and his wife, who didn't know exactly what he was doing and thinking, leading her to consider a divorce after her efforts came to nothing, something that Henry approved but asked her to leave town without attracting too much attention and not talk about Sammy, and she ended up accepting once again because she didn't want any fights and felt that Sammy wouldn't be happy there anyway, promising herself and Henry that they wouldn't cut off contact and that she would try help him if he needed it. With the two away and without revealing any important information Henry was able to continue with the lie that Charlie was alive, creating all the robots to make her grow and live among humans, while his wife tried to get in touch but ended up giving up, which Henry wanted so that Charlie and Sammy wouldn't know each other, and that lead to the normal events of the story, but instead of Adult Charlie we would have Sammy, who like Charlie had a lot on his mind due to the memories of his kidnapping and someone else who was with him, making him feel like he needed to visit his father's city and maybe even investigate to try to calm his heart.
It's surprising how games keep portraying Henry in the bad way long after his death. If HW2 grave order is the death order (I'm not sure it is, but it's strongly suggested), then Henry talking about "wound first inflicted on me" is awfully self-centred.

When I saw the notification for this video I thought “everyone knows about Charlie, and who else would they be talking about?” Then I saw the actual video and was like “oh yeah I guess he was forgotten”
Sammy (or someone similar) being the Puppet is actually something that the movies might be doing? Mike's little brother wasn't posessing any of the main animatronics, we know he was killed by Afton, and the cryptic message at the end of the movie envokes the Puppet minigames. Of course it's not the exact same, but it would be interesting I think.

I think it would've been so cool if Sammy WAS the marionette, considering the marionette isn't ANYWHERE in the books. And as for the games, that would've been cool too, and maybe instead of Henry burning the place down at the end, it could've been Charlie. Or better yet, maybe instead of ONLY playing as Michael Afton, there could've been instances of playing as Charlie. Michael and Charlie would be like a "next generation" type. Although, I don't have any ideas how you would play as Charlie, since playing as Michael in FNAF 4-6 just makes sense. Maybe make a bonus game? Idk, like, while Michael was at Sister Location, Charlie could've been elsewhere (Chica's Party World??)

until something directly says otherwise i'm going to continue to believe that Glitchtrap pushed Vanessa to change her last name to Afton rather than her being born with it. not only does it make more sense, but it gives more narrative weight to it being her name other than just fanservice. i mean whether she was born to the family or not she's absolutely part of things now and isn't getting out anytime soon
also i love seeing you talk here about how Charlie in the books isn't the same as the Charlie who died. with the books' emphasis on souls being grown and her soul having no real reason to latch onto the doll it honestly makes more sense than the alternative. what's particularly fun about that though is it fuels and inspired a particularly crack-fic-y idea i had for a fanfic with both book and game canon mixed together where you could have Charlie's soul in the puppet AND still have book Charlie running around as a second whole person allowing the two to not only meet each other, but possibly Sammy as well which would be a really wild series of events
y'know now that you mention it i think i would like a story where like they both posses the puppet but in like a different timeline thing, i'm just now thinking about it more, but i noticed that technically out of the core 6 it's three boys and three girls....not important but i thought it was nice to mention. i hope your feeling better btw.
@Wind_Blaze Yeah, honestly too despite pretty much no evidence for it i could kind of see CC too being a second spirit in the puppet and that's why it has the tear marks and or stripes

No Middle Aged Charlie. No Elderly Charlie. Everyone was going to figure out she was a robot anyway when she stays looking like she's 25 when everyone else is pushing 60. 👀
I headcannoned Sammy Emily into the games as funtime freddy a while ago, and no past lore that I'm aware of have contradicted it, so I'm happy with that
