I'm so glad I found your channel! I have an '07 Commander 3.7 and I've started trying to service small things myself, like the mass airflow sensor, throttle body, and spark plugs/ignition coils. I really hope that you keep making videos like these, because they are so incredibly helpful!!!! You are thorough, clear, and informative! Keep it up!

Aw thank you! I’m still working my way through as well and dealing with one pesky issue that I’ll be so happy to figure out

My hope is that most car mechanics would have half of the wits and common sense that you'd showed on this video. Great job.

Love your video. Mechanically challenged people like myself really appreciate your easy to understand direction. Thank you and keep it up!!

Your instruction technique is very refreshing. Many of the male mechanics on RUclips gloss over some of the smaller things that they assume you already know. Great job!

Great post! Thank you. I have a 09 Commander 3.7 with approx 150k miles. I never opt for MOPAR parts, way way way too expensive, marginal quality. For my ig coils and plugs i use NGK (iridium plugs). 👍👍

Very good video; Thanks! I may do plugs and coils in my own V8 4.7L Commander.

Thank you. Unbelievable that other videos on RUclips tell you to remove the support bar. So glad if found your video.

Guys yes she is very thorough but remember do more research. Always! Because you don’t just hand tighten a spark plug. If you want to do it right find the torque inch pounds needed for your model vehicle, note INCH POUNDS. Not foot punds. Just a heads up. Also just use a ratchet torque wrench. Not what she is using. Some spark plugs can be very hard to come off. Especially if they did not use anti seize on the threads.

Anti Seize should cover all the threads.. Where you have it, it will only cover the threads from there up....
What's the milage on the jeep??? Oil pressure still good??

I love my jeep commander. Has ALOT of miles tho. And starting to run really bad. 265,000+ miles 😱

Blow off the engine first. This way you don’t get a bunch of crud going down into the cylinders. NGK does not recommended using anti seize (not applicable to your mopars) ;)
Plus you can spray out the throttle body while your there 😎

What about Denso platinum plugs? Yay or nay w anti seize?

This is what I have to do yet AGAIN 😒 For some reason im having a bad misfire. Changed plugs 3 months ago. Starting has become really hard and when running it will run good till shut off. When start back it misses BADLY. 😤😱

I wish I knew how to help. I was sure that I solved all of my problems months ago but now I’m facing new issues and I’m looking to sell. Mostly because I’m moving. The commander is a good and fun hobby but now u don’t have the time for her

Did your misfire happen after filling your gas tank at a specific gas station? Sometimes their gas is contaminated. Sometimes running a bottle or two of fuel injector cleaner will clean out the gunk and help it idle better. It's cheaper than more serious work, so I always try the cheap fix first. Have a good week! Hello, have you ever had issues with it not starting just get a click. Alternator, battery and starter good. I’m thinking bad ignition switch.

Honey, what city and state are you located? I have a 2007 Jeep Commander 3.7L, watched the video and I’m still sure I would blow the truck up. Let me pay you to fix it🙏🏾🙏🏾

I would Cap off the power terminal on your alternator.
