#combustion #hvac #maintenance - Кино
It's crazy to see the HVAC channels mature overtime. Manufacturers always seem to find a way of taking over. I own and use fieldpiece I'm not hating just noticing. Business is a game and the game must be played . Well done ! Keep up the good work bud. 🤠
Hey Zach,
You have been a big inspiration to me. Keep sending in content I’ll continue to watch! I used your code to equip my entire truck with tools, just starting up here in southern indiana! Keep it up!
You are ready good in your explanation of this equipment function and illustrate immediately how you mount the probe. When we operate Boiler, O2/CO reading are indeed very important data to know how well the Boiler furnace combustion air/fuel ratio mixture are firing. I know some ppl might not really interested but it is safety, health & environment that we are concern about. Thumb upz.
This video sold me. Just got the CAT85 today and used it on several units that I had heat exchanger concerns on. The sensor style and cost of maintenance won me over the testo 300.
I've been watching this channel for a while, seems like it turning into a sponsorship video, seems like most of the videos are talking about HVAC but 90% of the video is talking about what the sponsor has sent you. Get back to making great HVAC how to videos. Zac you do a great job just don't let the sponsorship get a hold of you bud.
How did you test combustion before you got your free combustion analysis tool yesterday never seen you test on any of your videos?????????)
Nailed it!
It’s still important to do this test with a quality analyzer nevertheless.
That's not a good point. How about you spend the money stop being cheap, And become a better technician. I used to think like that until I bought one. And I actually learned a lot about combustion well worth the money.
@@mikerefrigeration5736 chuck I bought my first one in 2003 the point was he never tested until he got his free one.
NCI offers great training. I highly recommend it to everyone I know in the trade. It’s worth the price and time.
On your next video can you show this tool in action with all of its functions and capabilities?
Outstanding review. Thank you for the clear and detailed information delivered with utmost professionalism.
“If you ain’t testing you’re guessing!”-Mikey fucking Pipes. Is this a fieldpiece commercial? 😂
Great content pal!
Thank you Zac. Awesome video!
This channel has turned into the tool of the week. Of course all freebies.
Paid commercial.
If you ain’t testing.. your risking!
Question, I’m new so I’m curious how would you go about fixing the issue if readings aren’t good or safe ?
Awesome Video, any chance you will do a video with it in the field? Thank you for all the content
🙏 for your content this really helps me
I was thinking of going into a trade either going into HVAC or a mechanic but I am struggling to choose… I went to a trade school and learned electrical and tried it out and then my mental health went south (for other reasons and not cause of the work) and I couldn’t go back into that field cause it would take a toll on my mental health today but now I seem to struggle to decide cause I love working on cars as a hobbie but I don’t want my hobbie to become work cause I feel like it would get me uninterested in working on my own cars when I have free time so then I thought HVAC since I already have some knowledge of electrical but I don’t know if it would be right for me?… I still struggle with my mental health today but I am better than years ago and now my issue is if I should pursue this but try to find a company that will take me but understand that I have limits but I am willing to work in the trade. I don’t want to give up my dream in working in a trade cause I love working with my hands and fixing things or putting things together but I don’t want a trade to burn me out mentally that I fall back into my a deep depression that I can’t handle the workload… does anyone have any advice what trade I should look into pursuing for someone like myself or is HVAC something that I should continue pursuing? thanks so much and sorry for the long comment
Great tool review Zack
when you said high contrast mode for when your on the roof, i finally understood why game boys built before built-in lights had that alternate display. i thought it was a cheat code, Nice video thp, That Manometer+ is nice,
Hey can you do a video about plenums covering sizing, installation practices (difference between using a tapered transition, or with fins vs being fixed directly to the unit?
Can you have more than one supply plenum on a supply, or does having a secondary plenum fuck with the pressures?
In like that it does gas pressure to. Great video
Great video ! Thanks, 👍
Sponsored by fieldpiece im assuming lol. Tool is roughly $2k , testo one is less than half the price and does the same thing.
I hate sellouts
We have multiple testo 310 s and they always have sensors failing. Not so sure they are that great
Testo is garbage unfortunately lol
Of course it's sponsored, majority of his videos are
Great content!!!
Good work👍👍
Can you do a video giving a detailed explanationof PCS, Constant Torque, and VSM motors?
have you tested a furnace that was not burning clean ?
Be nice if it works with MQ
Each additional 1% O2 in the flue gas represents a 0.5% reduction in efficiency. On large equipment it can really make a difference.
I noticed you mention the 4 parameters, temperature, 02, CO, and CO air free…
Where is CO2?
CO2 percentage is needed to dial in almost all high efficiency boilers to manufacture specifications.
Required for Weil McLain Ultra Series, Required for Weil McLain EcoTech, Bosch Greenstar, Bosch Greentherm, Bosch Singular, all Navien Models, Burnham Alpine, Burnham K2, Burnham Alta, and many more…. As an HVAC technician who works on all these manufactures and many many more this tool presents itself as near completely useless.
I can measure CO with a CO detector, I can measure Temperature with a temperature probe.
It’s a glorified O2 sensor
It automatically calculates CO2 from the O2 and CO sensors.
Thought you were going to show how to do the combustion testing =D plop!!!
Haha Mikey Pipe’s main line!
I just got my certification for combustion and I had trouble sleeping after learning about it. It will really make you think. I suggest anyone in the industry to get certified
Clock the gas meter compare with the rating plate. Also check the wc of the outlet manifold of gas control valve on high and low fire compare with manufactures specs rating plate. No special tools needed. Free advice your welcome
all you need is a manometer clamp meter thermometer and co detector right? ive never seen that big ass tool hes using
@@obama7325 yep. lol
If the O2 increases when the blower comes on that indicates a cracked heat xchanger. How will the tools you’ve listed indicate this condition?
@@cadamham
They wouldnt but a simple 40 dollar co detector in the room by the first diffuser would. It would tell that their is no co but couldn’t verify if the heat exchanger is cracked, nor would a fancy combustion analyzer 100 percent of the time. Just because you have a crack or hole in the heat exchanger doesn’t mean you automatically have carbon monoxide
@@RockoRocko-rz7kx you may not have CO at that moment but I would want to know if there was a crack or not that could potentially lead to CO poisoning just by doing a relatively simple test with a relatively simple meter. Let the customer decide what level of risk they want to take on and absolve myself of any liability
I gotta have it!!
I want to follow the other guys giving you a gard time for being g a tool commercial. But I have found fieldpiece may really be the best
FP is brining it on!
Nice
What’s up Blake
That's bad ass
A printer? Rick n roll !
Show us in action please and thank you
whenever I'm opening your videos, - you always have 2-3 new tools you are advertising lol 😀 but in real life you don't need all of those
Sponsored!
MIKEY PIPESSS!!!
Afue code says you arnt aloud to make a hole in b vent. Thumbnail looks to be b vent not criticizing. I was doing it for a whole year before I got correct.
Almost all b-vent mfgs. permit a hole to be drilled for testing, so long as it's plugged properly.
👍
Wow
2 grand holey smokes
Almost 2 grand
Wow
Congrats Berry
Damn this thing is money, and cost a lot of it
It’s an 80% furnace who cares. CO analysis only really matters on 90’s.
80% still needs to burn clean
@@anthonyl5505for the enviornmet or why does it matter
Church!
I was on an 80% yesterday. Hitting 600 ppm. But who cares?
@@ogie5194 Did you check the heat exchanger? 🤣
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH
Every maintenance? Is a lie. There’s a reason ahu has safety switches
I thought you were going to demonstrate it's use on a real furnace. This is nothing more than a sales talk.
