I know this is a joke video.....but the Joblink probes just work 🤷 The OG Testo's do great if you're just there by condenser charging the unit and don't need to see them real time from an attic or something - they're still a good deal for that use case - and I still carry them in my personal vehicle to do a little side work for a friend or family or to have with me if I'm outta town - but won't be devastated if they get stolen. The SMAN 480v and Joblink set are my bread and butter for service work. I haven't tried the 2nd Gen Testo's, but IIRC they aren't quite at the level of the Joblink suite. Some of the other brands like Yellowjacket, JB, and UEI have them - some with a Tee built in - I like that idea, but not sure how easily they can be connected to the service ports with that added BULK...which would make that added feature useless. At the end of the day....how well they connect and STAY connected is the most important thing - I can't have a customer over my shoulder, sweating, watching me fiddling with some little plastic toys and my phone and acting confused....they're paying me by the hour and want me to appear confident, competent, and efficient. I need to have those numbers in my hand identifying the problem as rapidly and accurately as possible.
Sporlan probes for life... Or until they stop working then I'm back to psychrometric charts, sling psychrometers and meat thermometer with sum duct tape
Yah bc putting on some old gauges and doing one subtraction is Way harder than putting on probes that barely fit in spots and then turn them on connect and opena phone.. Yeah I'm cool
That 'old school' way is more work and more crap to carry around if you're getting the same amount of info. I'd rather grab something the size of a lunch kit and the phone I already have on my hip than a manifold, hoses, dual temp thermometer and rolll out(roll back up) two thermister wires, tape them to the copper pipes with electric tape - AND not be able to have that info all right in front of my eyes with the ability to screenshot to refer back to hours, days, or years later. Don't get me wrong, I still carry TWO analog manifolds and SIX stub gauges on my van - but use them for specific tasks, checks, or situations. Can beat the SMAN or Joblinks for day-in/day-out service work.
If Milwaukee came out with some bright red ones, it'd be all over. Mr. Milwaukee would take over Elon Musk as the world's richest.

Sman 480 v digital gauges are $750 w/0 the hoses. and that probe set is $680 w/ psycrometer probes.
My boss thinks anything other than analog gauges with 6 ft hoses is brainwashing.
They work….over 5 years…never bought another manifold…only carry two black hoses and the probes that’s it.
I just enjoy hearing the word “probes” said so many times
I prefer testo
Are Testo probes good for MeasureQuick?

I have literally more than $5000 in fieldpiece products in my van
Never heard of them.
👍
Not me I don’t have any probes 😮😅❤
Thats what the "Greys" told me as well.
Mantooth mantooth mantooth!!
Good luck with that brother. Lol
Better range.

Yeah genius people love running those freon lines where field piece probes will barely fit on
Refco probe’s definitely are not the best
😂 refco,... refco,... refco...
I bought them because they were yellow.
That’s one of the psychological brain waves that they put into you
Ya but red!! Milwaukee! !! Brains..must eat brains..
I just ordered the other yellow probes. UEI hub8. Better value and features. Nothing against Fieldpiece. Just think they are overrated
@@jorgealvarez4129 I’m interested in feedback on them. I’m sure it’s me, I’m just kinda anti fieldpiece because of all the fanboys
Solid lol
😂😂😂😂
That's it. I'm unsubscribing.
