#manometer #hvac #fieldpiece - Кино
It’s the Billy Mays of HVAC tools. One big informercial.
I personally don’t mind if it’s a legit on site review and overview on the tool but yeah I agree with you.
lol i like he knows all the names of tape lmao thats DC181!!!!!! not DC176!,this ones good in warm weather....this ones good in cold weather
Must be nice to get top of the line tools and test equipment at no cost. I can’t argue about Fieldpiece quality though. At least you are promoting the best.
I've had mine a few years and it's a game changer for sure. Really a big fieldpiece fan these days and have most of their hvac tools, but this manometer is the only one I'll ever use again besides my wireless probes,I use those for airflow but this one for everything else. It's the fact you can test switches as well as just keep universals on the truck and always have a switch when in need. I used to have to wait for my supply house to order me the correct switches in the past which would leave customer without heat for a few days at times. Never again. I think that feature alone makes this the best on the market. I don't even know of any others that you can setup a new pressure switch with. Life saver. What I am gelous of is your new analyzer. Have my eyes on same kit you got there, just need to save up a little more. I'm telling you guys, fieldpiece is killing the whole game in the last 5 years or so. They have really made me a much better and more efficient tech
Thank you for all the great videos tips, tool reviews I could go on and on. I perform HVAC installs and troubleshooting on residential and light comercial systems with my work, I also work on electric Generators, Trasfer switches, UPS systems and other equipment so basically a technician that covers multiple trades. Nice to watch someone who does it right, I try to keep up with new technologies, techniques and the new advanced tools that are out there as I don't solely work on HVAC. Watched your video of you installing a new Bosch system and you had to reorient the drain pan so the condensate ports would be oriented in the proper position, doing that I watched you remove the "A" coil from the pan and reorient it so the return air would flow up through the base and out through the fins. I watched another video of another popular HVAC contractor RUclipsr who was installing a Bosch A/H in the horizontal position he reoriented the coil so the condensate ports were positioned properly and DID NOT reorient the coil. Top of the "A" coil was pointed toward the return air and the base was facing the supply, don't see how when he performed the start-up the system pressures, superheat were all within specifications. Any how thank you for the videos and doing it the right way. Take care!
This is actually an awesome tool. I live in very rural wyoming there are no parts houses for over 250 miles. In a pinch I've used this to set universal adjustable pressure switches on everything from mobile home furnaces to radiant tube heaters. I have this, and the sc680 which has dual k type probes on a meter for rtu delta t. Awesome stuff
I have one love it and have used it multiple times and for multiple things. Definitely consider a must have. Great review of many things this thing can do. Great job
Great tool review Zack
Thanks for the info Zac love your content brother
Commercial of the week
Have this fieldpiece on my van . Main tool Magnehelic analog gauges I find it to be more accurate . Commercial industrial sometimes have have 5 gauges on a system to check gauge pressure.
Comes in very handy!!!
I use the UEI manometer. The fieldpiece looks nice but there prices aren’t nice lol
Great video
That or you can use your meter while it is in operation. If the draft inducer is running and the tube is clear and the pressure switch still isn’t working. Change the pressure switch
Combustion Analysis > Gas Pressure
What do you recommend using for combustion analysis?
Some combi boilers have you dial in pressure by combustion analysis instead of gas pressure. We do one on all new start ups
@C M well, that's how it's always been done on all gas boilers/furnaces,water heaters. So the manual will give you your inlet pressure range and manifold pressure range or sometimes it will for example on l.p. say 10" manifold pressure rather than a range. Chances are, that pressure will be real close to where you wanna be but you should adjust from there up or down slightly to find the sweet spot. You are rite to setup that way but it's not just mod cons it's for everything. And needless to say all oil burners need to be setup with an analyzer but you don't wanna adjust pump pressure to get you there, always confirm pump press is at where manufacture states cause too many times it's off by quite a bit low or high, very important to set it at spec for that setup, then you adjust your air. You may know that but just in case you or others didn't, 😏
@SJFT90 I've used a Bacharach digital for 10 years but I don't recommend. It's great but have to send in most analyzers for calibration every 6 months or more I've found,it's expensive and you're without it for up to 2 to 3 weeks each time. The new fieldpiece which he has a video on is on my list. No sending in for calibration and it's fieldpiece, what more could you ask for. Just Do it!
@@SJFT90 Any quality analyzer. Testo makes the most affordable good units. I have really enjoyed both of the new Fieldpiece ones (CAT45 and 85)
Hello, I am a follower of your channel. I would like to ask you about the best machine air duct cleaner. Do you have any experience or advice for me so that I can start my own small busines? thank you!!
I use my cat 85 for both the pressure switch and gas valve
Hey man! Thumbs UP!!
I have the more simple field piece monometer. Does everything I need, I check pressure switches with my multimeter. This is a good meter though
What is the highest delta across the filter before you would change the filter?
Your furnace name plate will state maximum outlet temperature and give you a range your temperature rise should be in
Whole lotta red🔥👀
It's funny I was just complaining about my old analog manometer and have been looking at different digital options....guess this is a sign lol
Hey I’m thinking of starting a RUclips channel for hvac service but my concern is using cameras inside or around peoples homes obviously I will only record equipment but can I get in trouble for doing so and do I need to ask the customer for permission for every service call I record? Thanks.
That’s great what did you use before you got your free tool you not a new tech to the field?????
👍
Use to love the channel but now it seems its just promotional item walkthroughs
It's part of having a RUclips channel lol I agree with you there is a lot of channels that talk just about tools. my channel sucks tried to video my hobbies, and if that worked I was going to add in my HVAC working but I suck at it, it's a lot of work and I gave up, I'm glad there are people out there that can do it.
@@prereitz yeah completely understand, hey if I was getting tools from them I’d be doing the exact same. I guess it’s just the lack of content in between
I’m starting to feel the same, I get it but seems like he spends more time filming dumb stuff like him walking around and opening doors then actually working.
@@Silky_boi Yeah, he hasn't had a repair in a long time...
Stock complaining an angrow a pair He's just trying to teach the way for others. Thanks for the look out Quality HVAC
Using a manometer for checking if a filter is dirty???
Static pressure?
Salesmen
This doesn’t relate to this video, was watching a video on tv but can’t comment from there. You said your wife use to work with you, wondering why she stopped. I started my company 5 yrs ago and My wife just quit her job of 28yrs to help and love it. Just curious. I enjoy your videos, have learned better ways of doing the job. 👍
If you order now, I will send you a second one absolutely free. Just pay a separate handling charge. Come on. Stick to teaching. Not sales.
