Somebody already said it, but thank you for such a clean and concise instructional repair video minus the distracting BS & bad music. I like learning and watching when things are clean, thanks
Nice job buddy thanks. Done other scoots but nice to have a reference. I dont use the special tools just electric socket gun. So much easier than changing, adjusting, oiling a motorcycle chain. I always put in heavier weights to drop cruising revs as I do 1500 mile trips and softer cruise is more pleasant
Several viewers have asked you what Dr. Pulley size/weight rollers did you use. Please let us know since there are many weight options with Dr. Pulley. Thanks
Hello mitch. Please, kindly do a video of where Suzuki skywave CJ46A oil sensor is located. My oil change indicator won't stop showing up, even after a reset.
Basic CVT is actually pretty easy, but Suzuki got extra parts in and I'm impressed by the size of the pulley houses and the 5 clutch pads. I'm used to seeing only 3.
I've had this exact scooter for 2 years. Sadly I had to sell it because I bought 2 motorcycles and it ended up sitting still in the garage, but gosh I miss it so much
Your video is great. The scooter is an example for bad engineering. This needs a hell a lot of work to access the CVT unit. Conversely, it is needed to remove only a couple of 10mm bolts to access the CVT unit of my cheap 110cc scooter. The mechanic at the service center disassembles the whole compartment within a couple of minutes.
Do you recommend starting and running the CVT on the center stand to inspect for proper functioning before reinstalling the tranny cover? Also some dry lubricant on the CVT rollers?
@@MitchsScooterStuff Actually....no. For starters, the general public in my country of 1.4 million DO NOT like motorcycles. For a Third World country, we do not have lots of motorcycles. We have a small Yamaha dealer, a small Hero dealer, a small Suzuki dealer and a couple guys who import used bikes from the USA ans Canada. When the Suzuki Burgman was introduced in North America there was no Suzuki dealer here. I saw a couple that were privately imported some years ago, but they have disappeared. Everything motor-vehicle-wise has to be imported into our country, so for motorcycles, a small part going bad can mean the end of its run. Young guys ride used imported sportbikes that cost them a lot, as taxes are pretty high. Only if you import a 300cc and under bike, are you tax-exempt. But of course, all replacement parts are subject to tax and duties. I have a two-year old Yamaha FZ25 that is made in India. At 68 my fast days are over and it is enough to get me around. Regards. Trinidad & Tobago. West Indies.
10 is just enough bolts, that you wouldn't want to buy 10 different colored paint pens lol. EDIT: Oh, I guess there's only 3 bolt sizes, so you could maybe get away with 3 pens if you marked them based on how you show the lengths at 6:33

Do you know if there is a technical review of the 400 burgman from 2017?
I can not find it.

Also, did you use the dry lube and bearing grease that you show as needed tools/supplies? Thanks
Hey 21g this one amzn.to/4aRfxJX
all list we used is in description box :)
@@MitchsScooterStuff Do you know what the advantages/disadvantages in using 21g vs 18g rollers? Thanks

Hello mitch. Please, kindly do a video of where Suzuki skywave CJ46A oil sensor is located. My oil change indicator won't stop showing up, even after a reset.
Hey Mitch. Can you please respond to this
Hey, hmm I need to research on that … try disconnect the battery for 30 minutes then connect again, might help to reset the ECU to fix the issue
Es posiblemente el mejor video explicativo sobre esto que hay en todo RUclips. Enhorabuena!
传动盖皮带轮位置上有细微裂纹
What a great effort by you, a very thorough and useful guide. Thank you.
You're very welcome!
Great video, what weight are the sliders? Do you have a link to them?
Hey yes it's in description box
my cones have two areas that have rings on them a little worn. do i need to replace with new?
merci pour le bon travail mais pourquoi tu na pas démarrer le moteur avant de remettre le cache pour évité le double travail.
Great video that was very informative. With all the dialogue it felt like I was watching the movie castaway 😅
Muy buen video felicidades, que rodamientos podríamos poner y de cuantos gramos para que bajen las revoluciones del motor?
Well you’ve done it again fellas…..excellent stuff 👍🏻👍🏻
😄🤙🏼
Hello. Can you tell us the weight of Dr pulley you use?
21g amzn.to/4aRfxJX
Not designed for easy servicing.
Oh, it's not that bad once you get the tools together. Of course, Mitch makes everything look so easy!!
Basic CVT is actually pretty easy, but Suzuki got extra parts in and I'm impressed by the size of the pulley houses and the 5 clutch pads. I'm used to seeing only 3.
The 200 is much easier to work on and not much difference in top speed
Looks easy enough to me
Does the 2023 Burgman use the same drive belt as a 2017, 2018, or 2019?
Yes they look the same to me
Do you need to buy those m8 bolts? Or are you using the ones from the cover. Your videos are awesome. Love all the scooter stuff! Thank you
You can reuse the bolts forever 😄👍🏼 thank you!!
So much in detail 👌🏻loved ur effort in making the video ❤️
Thank you!
Hey what size are those dr pulley sliders?
this one amzn.to/4aRfxJX
Lot of other parts need to remove just for servicing CVT part.
Designer failed.
Right!! So annoying 😆

14:23, I had no idea those torque wrenches still existed, I last used one in the early 80s.
😂😂😅
The best 😊video
great video, one of a kind.

Yes I recommend, I do that sometime… dry lubricant on rollers yeah why not 😄
Bonsoir, une jour tu pourras nous montrer comment démonter les deux boîtes à gants ?😊
Great informative video. Thank you
Very welcome
...hombre de pocas palabras...Saludo..!!!
Молодец! Всё чётко и понятно!
Very helpful video mate! ❤️
😄🙏🏼
Why sliders instead of rollers. I'm curious 🧐
Do a RUclips search for Dr Pulley sliders vs rollers and you should see several videos on the advantages of sliders over rollers.
Last longer, better and smooth acceleration and lower rpm at high speed, been using them over 15 years now

E aprendido mucho con el gracias Mitchs desde Chile

NOBODY IS GONNA DO ALL THAT WORK TO WASH IT EVERY 1800 MILES ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!
Yeah tell Suzuki that 😆
