Well if you mean the two washers at 1:55 you'll have to know that from the factory there is only one,the other one is usually extra washer that many riders put for better starts...You'll have at least use one of them because it protects the Driving half-pulley (the one with the fan blades) To your second question there is no need to strain the belt, it will come in place when you will start the engine and the driving pulley begin to spin...

do you think that if the clutch dosen't disengage at Idle with this engine it could stress the drive and clutch etc or do they design it in so it won't? As my new piaggio 278cc is currently always in "drive" even with a hot engine although not enough to push the bike along with a closed throttle.
Hi Mitch! I have a problem with my scooter. It's a Piaggio Beverly 300 Tourer 2009. I just replaced myself the driving belt and the rollers on the variator, closed everything and then tested on the center stand. On idle rpm the rear wheel has an unusual spinning. I haven't actually done any distances in order for the new parts to settle, but this spinning concerns me a lot. The clutch bell nut and axis is moving like the clutch is engaged at idle rpm and so is the wheel. What could be the problem? Have I tighten it more that required? Or belt is not installed correctly? Thanks!

ok sir what belt size is that Athena 26.5 x 1010 -1033? which ? and I notice you have two washers under vario fan my master engine is eating belts 500 miles etc but only has had one washer under the fan since I got it maybe this explains my belt eating issue..

At 2:25 you put the outer washer on backwards.
That's true and it can cause in a massive engine damage! Be careful and put the washer the right way.

@@oo9467 I think it was overtightening of the clutch. I am not sure though. It was 4 years ago. You should have it checked by a professional.

Der Federteller vor der Vario-Mutter wird um 180° verdreht montiert.
So wie es gezeigt wird ist es falsch.
Wichtig: der Gegenhalter (Werkzeug) sollte schon fest Verschraubt werden.
