Thank you for great videos. This and CVT removal videos I watch every service, as I drop the washers and can't recall the order. No music, no voice over, just clear instructions with emphasis when required. Your patience and relaxed personality shines, love the thongs (flip flops) too!
hi buddy love your videos gives me a idea what to expect , but the only thing is ,and what happen with me and would never off put the 2 and 2 together because i changed the brake pads at the same time as checking the belt . my rear wheel was catching on the hand brake calliper and i could not suss why, took the calliper of about 5 time checking everything over and over , so google a search which put me on a forum with a guy with the same problem but only after changing his things in his cvt cover , another guy even asked him if he had changed pads he said no , but a guy on there spotted the problem , when you put the bar through the wheel it pushes on the hand brake calliper when trying to undo the nut on the clutch unit, yours to be fair seemed to undo quite easy from a seating position as well, which great but with mine i had to stand up and lean on a break bar and it was flexing with 130kg behind it, and as i was turning it was scrapping , because thought i had knackered something in the gear box at the time, but it must of been the calliper catching wheel, the guy in forum on the watched you video as well ,and did the same thing the bar through the wheel pushed the rear calliper up, its only a few mm as well.. i did manage to get my nut off by applying heat on a hand held blow torch for 30 seconds and hit it with impact gun and it spun straight off... I took the calliper bracket off and bent back into shape only a couple of mm and everything good , what i am saying to anyone out there if that nut does not come of that easy as yours did rethink you options, i used a heat torch because i thought worse case i somehow manage to burn up the grease and have to change a bearing worst case , i didn't but it could happen , the same as for someone using the the bar through the wheel it might flex the calliper up it might not, for me it did , you videos are great so much to learn
Also I got issues with my 400 . It start, idle smooth, but as soon as I hit throttle, it sputter. The dash is on but blank. Checked Voltage regulator but that’s good. So now what could be wrong. I thought it might be spark plug, but? You got any thoughts?
The rubber grommets on the MP3 windshield...can you just pry them off to re-use on a new windshield or buy new ones? They don't seem to want to come off.
No music!? Thank you. Sometimes some munter creates a good video with sh#t awful music. One man's meat ... The silence here brings a sort of meditative state to the shed action. A welcome change. Have just bought a 2008 MP3 400 and I want to deal with the vibration on take off (but NOT at a particular ... 3/4 throttle ... setting). Will pull the CVT and clean it up. Don't want spend much on the bike. Strangely... on the 4th ride tonight... I think I got it. I normally ride a BMW K100. As German as a pair of Birkenstocks. Haven't liked the scooter yet. Think I am too tall for it basically. But 3/4 throttle on take off and ... viola! Thanks for all the vids

detailed tutorial awesome
Do not use this method to tight or loose the clutch nut. I just broke my axle and cracked the housing. Major screwup!
Just put it on the ground and use the parkbrake and put it on the ground and put a brick in fronf an behind the weel, will do the job
Just did the same thing 😂
