Hey Mitch! I done the all process. I have a question. When I remove the cover, there is a cover gasket. My cover gasket removed, and it is qiute sucks to put it back in the same position. First question is in this case should I change cover gasket for a new one? (the is no hurt at all). I dont think so because its only task could be to stop rainwater come into belthouse.
Second qoestion: are there any trick to fix cover gasket on the cover? Glue or something like this.
Thank you for your video and for your answers. Greeting from Hungary.
Afternoon Mich.
V belting arrows to pulley or CVT Please people are saying one way &other saying the other😮😮
I don't have a PCX but gave you a thumbs up for a clear, well presented video
without an annoying soundtrack or rambling and mumbling
Good work!
Thank you very much! 😄🤙🏼
Best DIY videos for the PCX150. Everything clear, concise, and complete (down to showing exactly what bolts lengths go where). Great job.
Thank you Jim!
I don't even own a scooter, but still watch these videos because they're so relaxing.
😄🙌🏼 thank you!
Yes! The way you edit them with Illustrations. , sounds of nature in background. Brilliant! Keep up the videos. Excellent 🎉 😃
The local Honda dealership quoted $400 to replace the belt, did it myself for about $70, parts included. Thank you so much for making this excellent video.
Nice work! You're welcome! 😄
Outstanding instructional video from start to finish! This is how they should all be done. The camera lens was focused in the perfect position all the time, lighting was perfect, tools need to do the job, torque specs for the pulley nuts, and you showed the correct holes to put the different cover screws in. I knew I was watching the right video to do this job on a friends bike when I saw how you cleaned the inside of the covers before putting them back on...I do the same thing. Thank you very much for making such a detailed video.
Another great job Mitch. Bravo and greetings from Greece.
I was recently doing this job on my Genuine Buddy 170i and I have a suggestion for you, Mitch. Since your pulley cover has several bolts of different sizes, you must keep them organized so you can reinstall them in the holes they belong in. You can simplify things by getting a cardboard box, and using a felt tip marker, draw a rough oval in about the same shape as the cover. Then poke holes in it where each of the bolts belong on the cover on the oval shaped line you just drew. When you remove a bolt, put it in a hole in about the same place on the oval on the box. Then put the box aside, until you are ready to reinstall the bolts. This way they will not get lost or mixed up. You can also write notes on the box, like "this side up" or "don't forget the clip" etc.
That's funny, I have been doing that for a long time.. I just realized I filmed that tip a few years ago... I better edit that to post to share :)
@@MitchsScooterStuffindeed!!!
I've worked on my cars and bikes since the 70's but only recently have gotten scooters. You take the fear out of my sticking clutch or varistor, yes we overheated it on some hills while riding two up on an Adly 50cc. Offering the clutch tool before I begin. Thanks for such great videos.
Fantastic video, concise and very clear. Your videos are so much better than any other instructional videos I've seen. Keep them coming, it saves those who wish to follow them so much money in servicing costs.
Thank you so much! Happy to help y’all!! 😁🙌🏼
Im dealer and mechanic shop and I hate him

Great video!! Nice camera angles and great tips for the screws 👏
This is amazing!!! I'm from Brazil and I've just bought a used Honda SH150i 2017, here in Brazil the SH150 and the PCX uses the same engine and transmission. So... Your videos are great for me to learn how to make the maintainance of my vehicle! Thank you very much!!!! 😁😁😁
Here in Asia the SH150i typically has a 152.7 (153 class) engine, whereas the PCX's are typically 149cc engines that are found in Varios and Clicks... So here in Asia, different. Turns out its MUCH harder to locate SH150i parts as a result. But, if one does a lot of digging can find parts for other Honda bikes that work fit perfectly on the SH. For example, the FRONT BRAKE PADS are the same as the CBR250RR... Others (like CVT belt) are same as Forza. Sounds like Brazil easier to maintain an SH150 vs Asia, ho hum
God bless you man for sharing such knowledge freely
Amigo, tus videos son precisos, de buena definición, claros. excelentes. muchas gracias. tengo una honda pcx y que maravilla.
By far, the best DIY videos on RUclips. 👍✊️🙌
Appreciate it!
Great video, the only thing I do different is not removing any plastic. I just get a small ratchet to reach the only two bolts that are by the variator. Still trying to find that perfect roller weight for highest top end. Have a blessed day.
Never seen such good explained videos like yours.
Great work, thank you.
And all the best wishes from good old Germany.
Thank you very much!😄🙏🏼❤️
Thank you very much Mitch . That video was very helpful. So glad to hear from you.

Dear Mitch,
I discovered your RUclips channel today and would like to thank you very much for the many great videos! These are really very helpful for anyone who wants to maintain their scooter themselves.
It would be great and I would be very happy if you could post a video on how to adjust the valves on a Honda PCX.
best regards
Jan
Hi Jan! You are so welcome! Yes I can do valve adjustment video on PCX sometime later this fall. 😄👍🏼 Ride safe!
@@MitchsScooterStuff Oh, I would also love to see this one!!! This is the only maintenance job I need more instruction on before I am willing to try it. If you did a video on this I know it would be easy to follow and understand!
@@MitchsScooterStuff Ready when you are!! Big love mitch

Happy to hear !
Thank you for making this video!! 💜
O mais perfeito tutorial do youtuber.
Parabens brother.
Um abraço de portugal !
Thank you!
Great video, without saying a word, just the relaxing sound of birds in the background!👍 You're lucky, if you need a tool you simply order from Amazon. Amazon suppliers don't often ship to South Africa, and if they do, there's a chance it won't arrive. 3:11, those pins could be just a little smaller to fit into the holes. 12:51, Philips or JIS, although in this case it's not critical?
Everything was perfect except that the clutch holder tool I purchased had 1/4" dowls which is the same size as the holes so I needed to bore out the holes to 17/64". After that, everything went smoothly. Also, I don't think the direction of the face of the roller weights matter because mine were stock and the blue faces were all in different directions. Thank you for this very informative video!
Merci pour ce tuto fort instructif..
Glad your back👍👍🇬🇧
😄🙌🏼
thanks man, giving me a bit more confidence to do my honda sh300
Awesome!! 😄🙌🏼🙌🏼

Muito obrigado pelo seu belo vídeo! vou fazer o mesmo em minha forza350. TKS :)
I have 21 PCX125 with only 1800 km. Opened up the CVT because of vibrations and there's double if not triple the dust you found on yours.
Hi,
At about how many miles is this service recommended? If my PCX-150 has about 10K would this help smooth things out? Great video!!!
No need to Grease any part (Even if you have a Kickstart) ? Thanks for your help

Hey Mitch, in your experience will the gasket for the left crankcase need to be replaced in my scooter? Given it was a new 2021 honda pcx 150 that has almost 16k miles. I have the belt, rollers, and 3 plastic slide pieces. Are there any new parts you would think I would definitely need to be replaced besides theses.
Thank you!
Excellent
Hello dear Mitch's , what Nm would use for SH 125 2019 ? Thanks

Thanks Tango! 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Very good work
Thanks!
Is there a way to make the variator more efficient to gain speed?
3:20 I'd recommend a 6-point socket, will give you a better torque and not damage the nut
Looking for as much info on these as I can, All help wanted, Where to get info MPG, prices, best years, all input. Thank you.
In the video it isn´t mentioned... What is the right torque for the clutch bell nut? Thank you!
Very clear
merci beaucoup
Would love to see a PCX 125cc front brake pad change tutorial. :)
Coming later this summer 👍🏼
Is the torque specs same for nmax 155 v2 2021?
hi, do you know if a euro 4 cdi/ecu will work on a euro 5 bike?
You don't put grease?
Im from Argentina and have a PCX. Your videos help a lot. I see you are in Maui . When I went there I always saw a white PCX parked in Hookipa ... is it you?
hi, do you know how to derestrict a lexmoto echo 50cc euro 5 moped?
the variator shaft should it be fully flat for more top speed
Minimum 21mm for cvt belt width. You will love electric bolt opener. Rear brake when open clutch nut
A los cuantos km lo cambias por primera vez?
Is most of this transferable to the Honda Vision?
Awesome
Excellente vidéo. J'ai réussi à changer ma courroie de transmission grace à toi. Merci
