*People who don't listen to or understand Metal, always think it's bands singing about the dark side while worshipping satan in their free time. It's so ridiculous. 'South of Heaven' isn't about hell. South of Heaven is Earth and this whole song is about the evil that ppl do to each other everyday by creating hell for themselves and for others right here on Earth. Great reaction as always!* 🤘🤘🤘
Yep. Every time I hear someone say something like this, I politely request they remove their head from their own ass and actually listen to the lyrics.
Ok
@@nachocheez9690 ok
@@pepper684 ok
Yup
The guitar tone on this album is so wicked
I was 13 when this was released but I remember thinking exactly that when I heard it in 88
The drum mix on this album is incredible as well.
Kerry King forever
This was my favorite song when I was like 16, I still love it at 55. Haunting the Chapel is really good too.
Aileen and Slayer rule!!!!❤️🤘🤘
Yes,they do indeed👍🤘🤘
that whole album is killer!
💯
Fuck yeah!
🤘🤘🤘
What is so much better about Aileen reactions is she saying what comes from the heart instead of alot of others just putting shit out just to get RUclips views..I'm grateful for her actually listening to the music lyrics and all.🥰🙏🙏🙏💯
This made my day, thank you!! ❤️❤️
Always and another good thing you read comments so much appreciated 😋
One more thing your schedule is busy we know we have to get sevendust in the fold please ma'am alot of bangers 🔥
Comes from the heart rate monitor as well👍😈🤘
The drums in this is so 🔥
Should've let it just go right into "Silent Scream." You'll love that one!🤘
Mandatory suicide
My favorite Slayer intro. Always gets me hyped up! (This intro and Seasons in the Abyss)
SLAYERS Mandatory Suicide, Spill the Blood, Dead Skin Mask, War Ensemble or Alter of Sacrifice just to name a few greats by them🤟
Can never go wrong with SLAYER. They never sold out from their roots like everyone knows who.
~FUCKIN’ SLAYER~

The ELEMENT of SLAYER is thrash metal genius. The ULTIMATE driving force of Dave Lombardo, the greatest drummer ever, all the different fills he does plus double-bass mastery. The talent in writing the music with King and Hanneman and their dueling solo guitars. The edgy lyrics of Araya on speed bass just combine to make metal mastery. The music itself with its smooth tempo changes and just the driving force of the sound itself to me is just metal genius.
Love all the younglings finally learning good metal.
Slayer will be greatly missed since their retirement.
A legendary band.
Also, a mention to the sad and tragic loss of Jeff Hanneman.
We'll miss you guys.
You didn’t pause the whole song! I don’t blame you lol. I’d love to see you react to “Disciple” next. Lyrically, it’s a bit of a departure and it’s from later in the band’s career. But it’s so iconic and one of my favs.
Also looking forward to you reacting to some more Black Sabbath!!
i had her listen to Disciple during a live stream
@@bleedingreen4018 what did she think ??
@@slayerstacker2074 oh she really liked it but i didnt do a lyric video. so she could still do a lyric react video on here
@@bleedingreen4018 you greedy bastard!! Jk I’m glad she heard it
Dave Lombardo, Slayer's drummer, left the band in the early 1990s. He played with a band called Grip Inc. from the mid-90s to the early 2000s (I think). Grip Inc. released their first album, Power of Inner Strength, in 1995. There's a song on that album that you should definitely check out called "Hostage to Heaven." Lombardo's drumming on that song is absolutely insane.
Wise words! Grip is where Lomabrdo shines...Slayer is for starters!
@@arturisko He also shines a lot on the Gathering album by Testament.
Hardly anyone did a reaction to the song "Jesus Saves" and no one did their best version from the live performance of the "Still Reigning" concert. That would be really fantastic, especially since you really genuinely love Slayer. Greetings and full support for further work.
HELL YEAH!!!!!
“I’m ready for some fucking slayer”... and here is your raw wish to reign South of Heaven
This whole album was pure bangers.
I can’t get enough of her ❤😍 she’s amazing ❤️❤️❤️
She is very attractive, entertaining, and seems cool.
She is easy on the eyes
"Stranger punching music" is perhaps THE BEST description of Slayer I've ever heard! Rest assured there was a TON of stranger punching at Slayer shows, by far the most terrifying mosh pit I've ever seen.
Can't wait to watch it! You always have the best reactions Aileen!
thank you!!! 🥰
This one is near and dear to my heart. The first Slayer song I ever learned on the guitar. Such a masterpiece.
Damn girl , I fucking love your reactions so much, that I can't get enough. Especially when you do SLAYER , cause I love SLAYER so fucking much, that I have their logo tattooed on my right forearm....
Thank you so, so much for the Slayer reactions A.S.. To me SLAYER is the KINGS of the big 4. Check out Ant-Christ and Jesus Saves, and like someone else said Silent Scream is another great song. Hell what am I saying, anything by Slayer is great. I can't wait for KERRY KINGS new band and album next year.
What's your favorite non-big 4 thrash band?

The sentence "The Root of All Evil is the Heart of a Black Soul" summaries what you talked about
Yup ma'am you said it all. Fuckin Slayer! I fully understand...and yes I'm as nice as ppl will allow me to be myself.
"Makes you want to punch a stranger" amazing take on Slayer. I always said makes me want to throw a chair through a window.
“Stranger-punching music”. Ha! I love it. 💯
It's 3am right now and I wanna get in my car roll the windows down and blast this as loud as I can and do donuts in the intersection while screaming SLAYER!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Always love your Slayer reactions! Excellent choice, and reaction. A few recommendations on songs to check out, and react to... "Silent Screams" "Dittohead" "Bitter Peace". Keep up the amazing work!
I have to hear Slayer’s Repentless right after South of Heaven.
Slayer fucking rule! 🤘🤘 Love the double guitar assault by Kerry King and Jeff Hennimen. These guys just kick ass all the way around!!
I have watched grown men, well over 6 feet tall, beards down to their stomach, just mighty giants of men completely blow their vocal chords out bellowing "BEFORE YOU SEE THE LIGHT YOU MUST DIIIIIIIIIE!"
I dont believe this is The first time... I think youtubers just post up that subscription to get the attention. But good for you, and keep listening to Slayerrrrr!!!!!🤘🏼
Saw them on that tour in Dayton, Ohio with Motorhead and Overkill. What a metal ass show that was.
South Of Heaven was my 7th or 8th album. My grandfather being a preacher I felt it a huge win to sneak that purchase past my parents at age 12. Good times. And then came Ozzy. I still say DIARY OF A MADMAN was as good or better than BLIZZARD OF OZ. If you could react to the song Diary of a Madman before the end of the month. If not, please put that song, Hell that hell album should be on your list of songs to react to.
First time I seen Slayer live was on Halloween night 1988, South of Heaven tour. Stabler Arena. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I was 15.
The first Album I ever brought, it is on cassette, from Woolworths, in 1991, I still have it, but it's broken as my Walkman ate it
It’s been TOO long Aileen!
I KNOWWW I'm so sorry 😅😅
More Slayer, please!!!! Great reaction! Love your channel, keep up the good work!👍👍🤘🤘
Lets Go!
I got such a smile watching you vibe to this! Fuckin SLAYER!!!!!!
I noticed the devil horns on the headphones about a minute in!!!🤣🤣🤣So freakin cool!!
The root of all evil is the heart of a black soul, SLAYER NATION!!!
WHEW!! That's a fast one to drum along too!!
We’re all ‘ready for some fucking Slayer’ 🏴
I wake up every morning at 3am and get ready for work while listening to this song 😁
I'm fairly new on this channel but I have to that I can tell for SURE that Aileen gets it with the stank face she gets when jamming to the tunes
Great reaction. Saw them on tour for this album. Someone sprayed pepper spray in the pit. It burned like hell. I loved it. Cheers.
The drums are SICK ...
The moment you said 'Listening to fuckin' SLAYER", I knew I had to sub. BTW, 10/10 would tap. Serious love from the Southwest Florida coast.
Yup listened to to whole cassette turned all the way up on my Sony Walkman in class high school.i did not hit the stop button till stopped itself. I walked out of class and didn't talk to anyone for half the day. Senpal I know how u felt
"Chaos rampant in an age of distrust" rings more true by the day. lol

That album was my first proper introduction to fuckin' Slayer. I was hooked immediately. And I still love the whole album.
I Love how authentic you are, you even forget to breathe sometimes when it comes to FKN SLAYER.
How many times do you get proposed to on a daily basis 😂 I'm a metal guitarist from Michigan that has a Slayer tribute band and I love how much you like Slayer!!
Congratulations on 100K subscription Aileen , KEEP ROCKIN' 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Great reaction video Aileen ❤️❤️ and good track picked out from slayer from their album South Of Heaven

Those drums 😍😍😍
Tis the season! \m/
FUCKIN SLAYER!!!! 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻
How to make new friends 101. Play some Slayer and check that they vibe like this 🤘🤘🤘
Jeff Hanneman was a poet, Prophet. He warned those who had the wisdom to listen. Slayer was never the same after he passed. R. I. P. Jeff Hanneman.
Loves Slayer and gorgeous...amazing.
New sub I love your reactions I love all music as well music is music whether if it Metal, rock, Jazz, classical you name I listened to it

You are the coolest Aileen !!!
I miss Slayer mosh pits!😪 I met Kerry King. He's really cool and laid back.
Niceee, myself 3rd favorite Slayer song 👌🏻🤘🏻
Love your choice in music & your content. New subscriber!!! 😊
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 Best Slayer song ever!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Their lyrics are very multilayered, as any good metal bands lyrics should be.
Another band whose lyrics have multiple layers of metaphors is Rammstein.
Thanks! Your awesome keep it up!!!
Funny story. First kiss-this damn song. I can’t be the only one 😆🤘😆
Great reaction but you HAVE TO do the song that immediately follows; “Silent Scream”. The end of this song flows right into it and drop kicks you full force.
So few people react to one of the best bands out there since the 90's "Therion". One of the pioneers to the symphonic metal genre. When I first heard the opening note to their song "To Mega Therion" in 1997, I was hooked! You should start the Therion reaction trend with this one. They have a good live version of it (Live Wacken 2001).
90s-early 00s Therion is on a whole different level. Probably THE most underrated band of all time. Their live show in Mexico City is one of my all time favorite live shows ever.
Therion is one of my favorites too. 🤘☠🤘
I was gonna suggest
On the Nightside of Eden,
Rise of Sodom & Gomorrah,
or maybe
The Blood of Kingu.
Damn, so many great choices!
One of my alltime favorites. 🤘
Stranger punching music haha love it
Chick is so Metal!!
That's a great thing!
you definitely earned a new subscriber :)
This is my second favorite Slayer song. Slayer will always be my all time favorite Metal band. This is the opening track off the album of the same name. The whole South of Heaven album is killer. I recommend the song Bloodline next. Great reaction as always 🤘🤘
When you see them live you hear the great sounds and the drummer and guitar 🎸 great music
At dawn they sleep live next!
Yes! I love the version from the Live Intrusion dvd.🤘🏻
I recommend the song Chemical Warfare, i dont really see people reacting to this song but for me it is the 1st Slayer song that defined the start to their path of darkness in their music.
"Souls of damnation in their own reality" is a particularly powerful line, in my opinion.
That song has a nasty groove to it, the first Slayer song (IMO) to really give itself an opportunity to HAVE a groove. It makes the brilliant lyric even more accessible. One of thier greatest, for me; glad to see you enjoy it, too.
