So nerding out moment but when I was a kid I wanted to join the Airforce just so on the off chance I get to be either a Mech or a Gundam pilot. I loved both of those series as a kid, never became a pilot but I still have both of my Gundam and Robotech models in my office.
Man, I remember grinding for all the paints and veritechs when I was a kid. Glad to say every medal, paint, and veritech including the vs maps and all that were unlocked WITHOUT cheats. Didn't discover the cheats for the game until I was much older
Not spending a penny on microtransactions, you have 100% of the game's content in one disk, goodies like voice actor interviews to skins to unlock to add more hours of gameplay. Such a game to exist now is a fantasy nowadays.

Sadly we won't see another robotech game this good, took me a month to beat this game and somehow without cheat codes, had to learn how to deal with certain bosses by hiding in spots to use the sniper scope. Male power armor boss had to hide inside a hanger so he can't hit me and i can kill him with the scope.
I absolutely love Battlecry's version of the Robotech theme, TBO I actually kind of prefer this one over the original Macross theme. I just think the instrumental composition in this one makes a much crisper and cooler version of the original.

It's definitely possible, didn't know there were cheats. But later on, if you learn you can become a total go in that game. Never played a game where i felt my skill progression so distinctly.
@@OnyieOnyeabor007 The only 3 cheats I used were: - Unlimited Missiles - Unlimited Bullets - All skins The game difficulty was def Dark Souls level. Messing up at all in certain points fails the mission, and the Zentradi girls were tough and fast.
Now if they made this with mech warrior graphics and some animations I see this happening especially since one mech actually exactly looks very similar ( mecha player wishing they bring this game and armored core in today’s graphics and speed )
There's a reason the Tomahawk looks exactly like the Warhammer, they're the same mech. Battletech's first lineup of mechs weren't original designs, they were borrowed from various mecha anime. This wasn't even really frowned upon at the time. Heck, Robotech did this too. The only ones who really made a stink about it was Harmony Gold, fuck Harmony Gold.
It sure felt good evading at the right moment or deploying countermeasures then transforming midbattle and blasting even more rockets right before impact.
i see a lot of comments saying the game wad hard. i dont know if my pilot skill from mechwarrior / heavy gear helped me but the only mission i had a hard time it took so many try it the escort mission with that spaceship radar... man fuck that mission

One of the hardest games I have ever beaten. I remember there was one escort mission was nearly impossible.

My brother and I played this game a lot as kids. He did better than I but it didn't matter, it was a fun game and I had fun playing with him.
