Even in europe many things are not allowed. See the video of Mein teil in Berlin 2019 with the big cannon till lindemann shoots^^ a handheld-flamthrower was not enought.

I've survived front row at their concerts twice. Without a doubt the best live performance I've ever gotten to see. Their stage production is just insane. If you ever get the chance go to their concert, you won't regret it

The best part is that these guys are in their late 50’s and can still put that much energy into their concerts!
The title is a German word game. Written " du hast = you have, du hasst = you hate. Spoken it sounds the same or similar. It only makes sense in context. In foreign concerts, large screens with the translation are displayed. But as you can hear here in France, Paris, all 70-80,000 people knew the text, worldwide

"So much energy!" Dude, you need to see them live. One of the best experiences of my life. Those pyrotechnics are insane! They use them so much that the entire band got trained on how to use them.

And the answer is simple: Yes sir!🤣 You know what is so amazing by vocalist Till and his energy level? He has struggled with stage fear for many years. You would never know by looking at him perform. If you get blown away by crowd interactions,how about a song where the crowd has theyr own part of the song whenever they sing it live?! One of my favourite songs by them,and i dont even understand German. I still get goosebumps every time!

His stage fright comes off in the softness you can see in his eyes when he performs. Rammstein are such intense performers but Till has an undercurrent of sensitivity in all of his vocals that shines through.
I was in their concert last year and let me tell you that's the best 83€ I've spent in my LIFE, if you're getting goosebumps just with a video imagine seeing them live!! I was the furthest away from the stage and I could feel the heat un my face from all that fire, it was the best time I had in my life!! Highly recommended!!!

Went to one of their concerts a few years ago. At the end of the concert the arena emptied and there was this cm deep layer of sweat on the floor from the dancing and head banging. Epic experience.

That song is often played in hockeygames, maybe in other sports aswell but if you are watching the NHL you may have heard it. You have to go to a concert, its an unreal experience.
This song has been featured in multiple movies, commercials, etc, but if I remember correctly, the first major American film that featured it was the first Matrix flick. I hope to make it to Europe one day. Not even for the culture or sites or anything. Just to see them put on a show like this. You just can’t get this level of pyrotechnics approved for a show in the US lol....

What I love most about this song is that it is at it's essence a love song. It's talking about you have me "Du hast mich" and about how the partner is trying to control them.

ive seen them live 4 times, going for 5th in September. Go if you can. They have THE BEST live show in the world hands down.

Ramm-stIne came out of the former Eastern part of Germany in 1994. Til Lindemann (the singer) had various jobs before joining the band, one of which was as a blacksmith. The keyboardist does a lot of things on stage because he gets bored easily. That is one reason he is on the treadmill. At one of their earlier shows, the pyrotechnics were so intense that the wires holding a steel girder melted and the girder fell on stage (no one was hurt). Til is also a certified pyrotechnician.

Exocrime It's understandable that you thought they were if they read that but they have only had some basic training as you'd need when dealing with anything of that nature, but no, only Till is a certified and fully qualified pyrotechnician.

Rammstein were featured in a bunch of movies, especially in the '90s and the 2000s, but they also had some hit songs, even trending on the american charts. Can't say I know too much about it since I'm German myself but they seem to have been quite popular for a period of time on the other side of the pond.

"Ich tu Dir weh" (Hurricane Festival / Rammstein Official) --> Great singing and insane stage action towards the end)
"Mein Teil" (Live Hurricane Festival 2013) --> Read the story behind the song (a real case of cannibalism!) first.
"Willst Du das Bett in Flammen Sehn" (Paris Version) --> Pyro Fashion, power, everything that Rammstein stands for
"Benzin" (Madison Square Garden) --> Benzin = Gasoline --> burns well. And maybe also a man?
There are of course a lot more insane live videos of them: "Links 2,3,4", Engel, "Mann gegen Mann", "Mutter", "Feuer Frei", "Ich will", ...

You cannot comprehend how hot those flames are unless you've been in front of them. Also to correct people saying all the band members are pyro-technicians, that is incorrect. Only Till has been qualified but they have a company who have been doing all the SFX for years.
I can name two that know a little too well, Till Lindemann and James Hetfield. Both of them took that step and said "we need to take better control of this particular process...."
Till had a fan injured IIRC, and James walked into a magnesium flare during a show mostly because the pyro couldn't see the full stage. (ED: James didn't train, but Met had a dedicated crew put in place and stopped relying on venues)

Its just perfect: The themes they speak about in their songs are just deep and make u think about, the music is just amazing, full of energy, heavymetal, keyboard and electro characteristics (industrial metal tho), the look of the stage and band is this postapocalyptic/military (no, they arent fashists) and the effects with the hellfire and rockets and flamethrowers are just lit. There is no other kind of band or production like this in the world... just perfect German production machine and cleverness is working here, and thats why it is my fav band on earth!

Heard that Flake was given the treadmill after he ran into Till when he was riding around stage on one of those stand up scooters.
You heard this on MTV in the late 90s. It was a very popular song when it came out.
The Singer is a Professional Pyrotechnician and learned this Craft before his Music career, he has the Expertise and the Experience to pull those Shows off and all the Paperwork to run the Show without any "Safety issues" blocking him.
Um, nope, Till only got his pyro-license after quite some time after the band started.
But the whole band has some license in pyro, but Till is one class higher than the rest of the band.

From the story that I heard the reason why the treadmill is there is that way Christian the keyboard has something to do during the songs that the keyboard is not needed. One time he was riding a Segway allegedly around on the stage and crashed into till the singer. That's when they started doing the treadmill I believe
