That is why Ich Tu Dir Weh is one of my favourite songs by them,and usually a song i suggest if someone is like: "Tills vocals are cool,deep and all that,but he doesnt have any range in his vocals". I ask them to hold my bottle,while i hand them Ich Tu Dir Weh. Never fails,everyone gets jawdropped. I know you mentioned how impressed you were with how buff Till looks. I guess you wont be surprised to know that he started his career by smashing drums for a band called First Arsch during the mid 80s. His biggest passion has been being a poet,so that tells you why when asked to join Rammstein by Richard (guitarist most often to his far left/our far right),he accepted and they used poems from Till for theyr demos. The rest is history as they say.

Till was always fit. He was Junior Vice-European champion in freestyle swimming in his teenage years and almost made it to the '88 Olympics for his country GDR- East Germany, only to be injured out. He's also a published poet. Mult-italented guy 🙂

Fun fact: Till was good swimmer was shortlisted to go to the Olympics but sadly had an injury and left the sport. Sometimes his kneecap popped out from the ankle and he had to put it back in place on stage so he started hitting his knee and it resulted in headbanging

I get so excited when I see a newbie to Rammstein. I have been a fan since the late 90's, and I am FINALLY going to see them live at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. on September 6th , 2020 !!! Hope to see you there !!! And yeah, any song from the Madison Square Garden show is an absolute freaking classic ! (Section 109, Row 9 Seat 8...Beers on me :) )

Rammstein are true artists and performers, their shows are amazing! I've seen them seven times and hope to see them again. I'm in a wheelchair so I often pass through the doors next to the backstages, and I had the chance to meet Till and Richard three times... they were just adorable! Really! They helped me with the doors and they said "yes" to sign autographs and take pictures with me... they're really nice guys 👍✨

Well, the title of the song "ich tut dir weh" literally means "I hurt you", and he goes on to say "I hurt you, I'm not sorry, it does you good, listen how you scream", so of course he had to burn poor Flake alive hahaha

Till is almost 60. He's no spring chicken anymore. And hell yeah I'd take a punch from him again. He hits like a brick but then he got me fucked up on the bus for being a "guter Sport". Rammstein is my all time favorite band, and it was amazing meeting these guys in Fort Worth at the Family Values tour with Korn. Back stage privilege got me their signatures on my arm then got that tattooed. This is my first time watching you and for this, yeah you get a sub. Oh and check out Deutschland official video. Oh and if you want the most views? Start hitting Pantera up. I promise you your numbers will soar. Just do research on Dimebag and Vinnie first. And be very respectful. You wont make it far if you don't.

I was at that show! First time allowed back into the U.S.
The best Rammstein video is "Deutschland" (official video). The music is awesome (one of my favourites of all Rammstein songs) and the video ist literally cinematic (plus, it's rammstein: you got fire bursts, lazer beams and an insane amount of violence). After Rammsteins long pause, this was the video, which got everybody talking about them again and hit them up to the top spots of the charts. If you start reacting to Rammstein, you haven't until you went for this one.

Flake isn't pronounced like what we are used to, I thought the same until I saw an interview with him in German, it's actually pronounced "Flocka!" A good video is Rammlied or Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen or Feuer Frei & Benzin!

Just a reminder NJ, as I said in your last Rammstein reaction 'Flake' is pronounced 'Fluc-ka' . And it isn't Ramm'steen' it is 'stein', like the glass you drink beer from (beer stein ) or famous theoretical physicist 'Einstein'.
Please do 'Rammstein: Paris - Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen? (Official Video)' it is a good one for helping you pronounce their name properly, as it is repeated a lot as part of the lyrics.
The compare to einstein is really nice. But the pronounciation is a bit harder in rammstein. But work in progress^^
