I love everything Rammstein has ever done, but this has been possibly my favorite song and performance since I've found out about them in the 90s. A blessing, and I'm glad everyone has finally been exposed again lately to this level genius art and entertainment.
I can understand why so many English speaking reaction channels are not interested in the lyrics. I also listen to foreign language music without knowing the content. If anyone is interested, I have the translated lyrics here.

personaly I enjoy going in completely blind Its like a extra surprise when I figure out how deep the lyrics and song meaning are. Having a language barrier at first makes it even more difficult to understand whats going on. I'm trying to read faces and emotions. I plan on. reacting to the making of video soon.

This was the song that made me realize that there is more to Rammstein then "Du hast" :)
Most of there live songs has a special act during the show. That's why i think this has to be my favorite live band.
"Du hast" has the smallest text of words.. there are so much more songs that are unique...This song is my favourite song beside " Mein Herz brennt"❤
I have seen they building stage about 1 week.
Till's feet are in supports on the platform. He is a powerful man, but he is also worth millions. If you want to see Flake really move, check out their concert at Bizzare Festival 1996, when they were young and brand new. I believe that was their first major gig.

funny story behind this song: when the album liebe ist für alle da came out in 2009 i bought the cd in my market and after some weeks the album got on the german index because of this song / this lyrics, the bpjm (bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende medien / Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons) said that this is to hard and then they sold this album with a cut version of this song cause its forbidden, but nowadays its allowed again
That is funny the same thing happened when I purchased a slipknot CD years ago.

I love Rammstein and this one of my favorite live performances. However it is worth to note that the chorus (and only the chorus!) is actually full-playback! Till is a great singer, but this long high notes would be tough for him to hit on point in a series of live performances. So they typically use playback or overdub in some difficult parts (like all the screaming parts in e.g. Wiener Blut, Stein um Stein ...)

you need to make yourself smaller and the video larger....and turn your mike down during the video, I have to crank up the volume on the vid and when you chime in it about blows my speakers out!!!
