I missed seeing Petra live by one tour this round. The next time (I think) that Petra played at The Odeum theatre in Villa Park IL, it was the Beat The System tour and I was there in person to see my lifetime first ever rock concert, back around Sept 1985.
Our first date was May 20, 1983 at a Petra Concert in Virginia Beach VA - this same tour! We’ve been married over 38 years. Thank you so much for sharing this!!!!

I was at this concert at the Odeum. They set up the lights to come down from the ceiling at the finale. The crowd went nuts. I also went to the concert a week later at the Danville Civic Center. Lets hear it for those days when Harvest Productions were cranking an amazing list of artists through Chicagoland every year.

Hello, for me it was the greatest Christian rock band! Each LP has several hits like no other. There's Stryper, but not all of them. And Greg X. Volz's vocals are powerful! This is proven when he sings live! It doesn't depend on a studio, it's natural! And this record is a milestone!

I saw CPR at Immortal Fest last year and Greg still sounds amazing.

Fun! I'm sure I was at this show. Didn't miss many Harvest Production shows. Paul Emery did an awesome job bringing great bands in.
