- THIS IS FOR ALL MY MATES WHO COULD NOT MAKE EASTERFEST. THESE GUYS ARE STILL ONE OF THE BEST BANDS EVEN AFTER SUCH A LONG BREAK AND RICK STILL HAS THE MOVES. THE BEST ACT AT THE FESTIVAL HANDS DOWN.BUT HEY SOUND GUY NEXT TIME THE FADERS THAT SAY VOCALS AND GUITARS.. PUSH THEM UP A LITTLE WE ALL GET THAT YOU HAVE SUBS.
One of the best holy ghost spirited bands that NEVER got the recognition they deserved. I love PETRA, Stryper, rez band, these guys whiteheart were the real deal. Ric florians soaring tenor vocals and mark gershmels vocals blended so well together. To me the FREEDOM album was their best, next best was tales of wonder. God bless whiteheart. Killer musicianship!
I go with Tales of Wonder as number 1. But they were the best

It’s 2020 and this band (well, the album Freedom) still takes me back to a special place in 90’ on the mission field. Lord Knows.

I loved all their albums. Different songs at different times that either made me feel I was not the only one seeing what was what, or helped push my mind to think in the right direction.

Whoever you are Musicians Oasis...you were SO meant to post this. At the 4 min mark...I am the "Rod from New Zealand" mentioned. I also knew Rick had waved to me. You panned to Rick at the exact time in this vid as he acknowledged me. You were meant to do that. Thank you!!!!
Still love to see any more recent Whiteheart "reunion" events. There's obviously some issue with these guys only allowed to play some of the Whiteheart songs, and one of the band founders has excluded them from the main FB page. It's too bad there is some awkwardness, it would be great to see them fully reunite at least one more time.

Where was this recorded? I met Rick after a concert in Perth probably 25 years ago. He walked into Fast Eddie's after the concert and just started chatting. Really cool bloke.
Who was playing guitar? That wasn't Gordon was it?
I don't know how I had the stomach or the patience for all that endless blah blah blah when I was a kid. Cliche after vague cliche. Rise.
I guess I had no choice as a kid but to sit there, now that I think about it.
